After a highly-rated cheesesteak shop closed for business, this PB space was taken over by a taco joint. Lewis'itos offers tacos and burritos, yet they do delve into other items like cheesesteak sandwiches, quesadillas, elote, and a TJ dog. There was some limited seating on the outdoor front deck and countertop space inside, however the vast majority of customers will order their food to go. For a while, the operating days and hours were sporadic, but now it's open from 1 to 9 pm on Tuesday through Saturday.I visited on a Tuesday in which there was a taco special of $2 each except for the surf & turf. I ordered a carne asada taco and a shrimp taco along with a cheesesteak with mushrooms, onions, red peppers, and wiz (i.e. Cheez Whiz). The tacos were street size, and the proteins were cooked to a nice degree of juiciness. The cheesesteak was very salty due to the mushrooms. I think the meat was already well-seasoned so the addition of the 'shrooms may have been too much. I had a difficult time consuming the sandwich because of the gravy.The guy (owner?) who was staffing the grill and counter was very pleasant. Regular patrons came in after I did, and they knew him by his first name. For my food, the combined rating between the tacos and cheesesteak was three stars.

I used to love the cheesesteak place in this location and was sad they closed. Great news if you can relate- the new spot in this location also has cheesesteaks! They smelled just as good as the previous business. Now they've added tacos and a few other items to the menu. I was just wanting a snack and stopped by when I saw they had Elote on the menu. It was much better than I expected. They grill the corn on the same grill as the cheesesteaks and I could taste some of the flavors - so good! They also make their own Chile mayo. I'll definitely be back to try the other items on their menu when I have more of an appetite. That Elote really exceeded my expectations and hit the spot. Prices were great too. Really casual spot with some outdoor seating. It would be great to grab on the way to the beach. Service was so friendly, there was a little wait, but worth it.

Amazing tacos and they have a secret cheese steak menu. Pull up here if you want some affordable food in PB. Staff is always nice and friendly. Don't sleep on these foos!

If you're on Garnet and want tacos/burritos/elote, this is the place. We tried shrimp tacos, pollo asado tacos, veggie burrito, veggie mula, and elote. Everything was awesome, and some of the best prices in the neighborhood for tacos. The service was on point. We took it to go and ate it on the beach. Forgot to grab utensils but the foil made a perfect spoon. This place rocks, check it out!

Honestly one of the worst burritos I have had in San Diego. Ordered on DoorDash. Came lukewarm (I live 4 blocks away). Ingredients say "smothered in sour cream and guacamole". No guacamole. No sour cream. Dry meat. Stale tortilla. Almost non-existent cheese. Just bad.

Must try tacos in pacific beach ! There food and service were amazing. Will definitely be coming back here again. Relaxed atmosphere.

Authentic Mexican tacos that were so fresh and delicious! Chill vibes and great tacos, that's all you need. Plus, the owner/chef was very friendly!

Best cheesesteaks in PB! I've been wanting to try this place for a while but it was closed every time I went. Finally got to try one and it was amazing.

I eat here anytime they are open the carne asada is the best in PB and everything I've tried is amazing I can't wait to go back again
