You f you're a fan of limoncello this is a must stop in Seattle! It's hidden off an alley by the baseball stadium. Stop by and grab a bottle of this locally made treat. They might even show you how it's made if they aren't busy.

Great distillery if you want to try something different. Has a good selection of cellos including lemon, grapefruit & blood orange and a range of Amaro apéritifs that will please a range of tastes. Flights were fun and cocktails were really flavorful as well. Highly recommend as something to drink in SoDo!

Letterpress is a hidden gem. Down an alley, near the stadiums, it's not nextdoor to all the other distilleries and breweries in SoDo, but it's beyond worth the walk. Best distillery we hit all day. Making Italian liquors the right way. Also enjoyed a hot toddy, and great conversation with the owner. Highly recommend.

Letterpress is a wonderful distillery in Seattle that specializes in digestifs! My husband and I love the amaro, limoncello, and arancello rosso. We like to have a little bit during the weekend after dinner. Skip the owner uses locally sourced ingredients and the products contain nothing artificial. If you come by for a tasting, he explains his family history behind his liquors and the ingredients the liquors are composed of. If you are interested, he also does tours of the room where the distilling occurs. The distillery is located near the Safeco and Centurylink fields, but the location itself is a bit inconspicuous so be on the lookout for the small sign. Stop by, grab a bottle and enjoy the depths of flavors!

We are new to the Seattle area and wanted to get off of the beaten path. Enter Letterpress Distilling. About a few blocks from Safeco Field, you will see a white door with a nice homemade sign. Skip is one of the owners and immediately greets us. Definitely not affected by the Seattle Freeze, he tells us about the history of his family and how his grandfather made liquors in Rome- very cool! We begin our tasting on an authentic letterpress (just like the name... get it?) After a few generous pours, we go back and Skip gives us a tour of the distillery. This isn't some 5min breeze through, he takes his time and lays out every process. Needless to say you get your money's worth of $8 from tasting all of his products and a tourTL;DR Great local distillery that is beginning to grow exponentially. Would recommend to anyone trying out new places

It's located in an old warehouse tucked off a back alley so it's hard to find from the street. The proprietor, Skip, took a lot of time with us and talked about everything on the days tasting. Very good cellos and excellent Amaro! I'm not an Amaro drinker, and we went so my wife could taste them, but I am now a convert. I can't wait to get home and crack open one of the bottles we bought.

LOVE this place! Skip is killing it with his spirits right down by Lumen Field. I had been wanting to try this place for months (thank you COVID for screwing that up) and it was worth the wait. I unfortunately have to watch my intake of cane sugar so I was so excited to hear that he sweetens his limoncello, blood orange, and grapefruit cellos with honey. The balance on these is just perfect. I highly recommend ordered the 3-pack of cellos for the holidays. Worth every penny. I did cave and try his amaros (sweetened with cane sugar) and I'm glad I did. So far I've had it twice by itself after dinner, it is that good. Highly recommend trying this place, I loved every single thing he made. Love the holiday cocktails he has going on right now too, you won't regret it!

I want to believe in my heart that this place is good, but I haven't been able to try it yet...because I learned the hard way today that they are closed on Sundays even though their website says they are open 12-4 :(

Letterpress Distilling is such a hidden gem... and by that I mean - truly hidden! ;) You have to know it's there in a little nook off S Atlantic St right by the TMobile stadium. The liqueurs are tasty, the patio space is cozy and the owner is very welcoming and inviting. My husband and I stopped by before the Sounders match and had such a pleasant experience!
