Lemon City Taphouse

Ive lived here in Lemon Grove for the past 3 years and I finally had the chance to stop by-- lets just say they are now in my local favorites list ! Lemon City Taphouse is located in a small strip mall that has a shared parking lot . If the lot is full, you won't have a problem finding street parking nearby ! The inside is pretty cozy, yet still welcoming . There are about 10-12 seats at the bar itself and a few tables with chairs to sit if you don't want to be at the bar . We were greeted right away by one of the bartenders, Sally who was soo awesome ! I love that they have a huge variety of beers/sezltzers to choose from, along with some specials on draft . While we were there we got a few draft beers that were fresh and I also ordered a cocktail with a tamarind candy ! All were 10/10-- Sally's got you with that heavy pour lol-- thanks girl .Overall, this is a great bar to have a quick drink ! I wouldn't recommend it for like a date night, but it's fun to just sit at the bar and watch the game or to catch up with a friend . I would totally stop by again soon (:Oh ! I forgot to mention they sometimes have food trucks or food pop-ups out front-- when I was there, it was Papis Teppanyaki (really tasty hibachi).

By far the best bar in LG. Bartenders are amazing! And they have a wide selection of beers. They also host lists of events. Definitely a must if you're in LG.

Chill craft beer spot in Lemon Grove. Has tables to sit or a long bar with plenty seats. Also a pool table. Chill vibes and cool bartenders.

If you are feeling tapped out after work, the Lemon City Taphouse is a great local place to relax and enjoy some libations. Not only is the service great, but they have a lot of great options.They offer beer taps from local breweries and beyond. They offer a huge melee if beers and ciders of the artisan can variety. The taphouse has a bar and inside tables, not to mention pool. They have plenty of television for sporting events etc. There is also a back patio were they BBQ and have food vendors from time to time. Irene, the super sweet bar keep, suggested I try their house Michelada, which believe it or not, it was a first for me. It was not only tall, but delicious and quite refreshing on a warm Friday afternoon. I had them use a Modelo Lager for mine. It had great flavor and the touch of soy sauce was quite nice. Super clean, cool and fun spot to catch a game or hangout. We came here for Super Bowl and great service

Love me some Taphouse. Born and raised in Lemon Grove, Ive never had a local bar I could call home like Taphouse. Sally, Norma, & Chelsea are the best bartenders in town. Kosay is always showing love to customers. Come by listen to some good music and tasty drinks on tap
