Nestled by the bustling Cass Street, Leilani's offers a charming Hawaiian-inspired breakfast experience. Despite its small size, the place has a cozy, safe ambiance perfect for a casual brunch outing. The decor is cute and inviting, making it an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy a relaxing meal.I opted for the plain bagel Kieki style, which comes topped with banana and peanut butter. The combination was delightful and surprisingly filling with just one bagel. To complement my bagel, I had an iced tea, which was refreshing and perfectly brewed. My friend tried the Local Boy and raved about its deliciousness. Another friend opted for a breakfast quesadilla, which looked lovely and appetizing (see pics). Leilani's is a basic white girl's dream brunch place when her friends from the Midwest are in town to visit and "find themselves". Just a reminder ladies, being an influencer is NOT a job--you are unemployed. While it's slightly overpriced, the quality and taste make it worthwhile. Additionally, it's just a short walk from the beach, adding to its appeal. The wait for food was impressively quick, clocking in at under five minutes. Despite the overcast weather, the outdoor seating was still enjoyable, especially since the place is dog-friendly. My black lab, also named Gerry, was welcomed with a treat, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff, particularly the waitress who took my order, were helpful and friendly. The music playing added to the laid-back atmosphere, making the visit even more pleasant. In summary, Leilani's is a great spot if you're looking for a tasty, slightly overpriced bagel with the added bonus of good scenery and people-watching. The proximity to the beach and the quick service make it a convenient choice.Gerry's Score: 3.76/5

This place is amazing, a really great gem to have here in Pb. Authentic Hawaiian food, anything you order will be good Jr. boy is my favorite since I can get French toast , egg and sausage. The place is pretty cool to sit outside amongst the trees. Everyone that works here is great!

Love coming here for brunch feels like we are back in Hawaii again. My go to is their Hilo Loco Moco. It is so good the patty is perfectly cooked with just the right amount of gravy. They have have great spam masubi. Food and service is already great here and there decent amount of tables to enjoy your meal outside. It's also a plus that they are dog friendly.

I'm originally from Hawaii so I was so happy to see this place! This was my first time here so I wanted a variety. I decided to try the My Kalani (kalua pig, rice, Portuguese sausage, egg, and mac salad. It was the perfect combo that made me feel like I was home. It was a pretty big portion also!Service was great! They knew it was my first time so explained how things worked. It's all street parking but there are many options in the area. You might have to park residential but no problem parking close by. I believe that it's 2 hour parking along Cass. You order at the window and if you elect to dine in, they only have outdoor seating. They did mention that they plan on opening an indoor dining area very soon. There are many tables and chairs outside but it can get iffy if it's a cooler, drizzly day. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

"This is an outstanding spot for a Hawaiian breakfast that captures the essence of island flavors and hospitality. The outdoor seating is casual and relaxed, perfect for soaking up the morning sun while enjoying your meal. Ordering is straightforward and quick, making the process easy and efficient. Their coffee options are varied and delicious, catering to all preferences. We particularly enjoyed the Loco Moco, a classic Hawaiian dish that combines savory flavors with a hearty presentation. The Spicy Fried Rice was another standout, offering a delightful kick that added depth to the dish. Both options were flavorful and satisfying, leaving us eager to return for more. Whether you're looking for a laid-back breakfast spot or a taste of Hawaii, this place is a must-try."

My boyfriend discovered this spot when we were looking for a simple lunch one day, and this is SUCH a gem!! I got Da Original Bagel. They only had the Jalapeno Cheddar bagel when we went, so I got it with that. It was so good, well balanced, and the breakfast sausage was delicious. We also tried the Pina Colada smoothie, which was soo reasonably priced. And we couldn't leave without trying the My Kalani Plate and Spam Musubi Leilani's Style. The My Kalani Plate is a ton of food for the price, and I love how the spam musubi was cut in like bite sizes. This made it so easy to eat. Service here was great, and love the outdoor dining area. It seriously feels like a spot that came straight out of Hawaii, and I def want to be back to try more things from the menu.

I haven't really tried a lot of Hawaiian style places so I might not have the best judgment. There's only outdoor seating and there's a lot of flies around because of the food. Got the Jr. boy and it was a good amount of food for the price. Taste wise was nothing special but still good. I would love to come here again to try their other options though!

I've tried to like Leilani's for years and have made attempts to order different plates to find the one that makes me wow, but it hasn't happened. Ever. Historically, and how Plate Lunch is served in Hawaii, the buggas are BIG and meant to feed surfers, not hipsters. Make it cheap, but make it good and big! This last time in, I ordered the special - hamburger steak with rice and the meal fit in a very tiny meal prep size to- go container. Seriously get out of here with that Leilani. And $3 for a Hawaiian Sun? Kalua pig plate fell flat. Waffle with Berries had a ton of sugared pieces to give cavities and diabetes. Can't go back here again.
