YES I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The food is delicious and FAST. Ordering is done in a tablet so it's great if I'm feeling especially non verbal. The sauces that they have out on their condiments bar are TO DIE for. I I want that injected into my veins.

A hidden gem in old Chinatown. It's mostly self service so the staff can focus on the *food*, which is what real foodies go to restaurants for anyways, no? Otherwise they would be called servicees, right? The food is mostly noodles and various bao/dumplings. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is a hidden gem within Chinatown! You go in and order at the kiosk. Then you get your water or tea. You can also order drinks. Get your order when they call your number at the counter. You get your sauce and dish, bowl, or utensils. It is a very nice place for family and for a couple to sit down to have a bit. Try it yourself and see. Highly recommended!

Today, we hit up Chinatown in Chicago. Upon entering, there were just a few tables open. You order through a kiosk. The worke e s are very polite and friendly. They have many different dumpling flavors, fried or steamed. They have pork, shrimp, chicken, and vegetarian dumplings. We loved all of them... we pretty much tried each food type. We did prefer the steamed over fried dumplings. The dumpling and chili sauces They offer were both delicious. Neither was spicy. The dumplings were very juicy, and the onion or leaks really complimented the meats. The average dumplings were about $3-5 for 8 or 2, depending on the type. Very reasonable prices. The food is absolutely delicious here! I highly recommend trying them out!

Very chill environment to just take a moment and eat after exploring. The food service was quick with ordering on screens and delivery was fast. The food was very good. The Beef Bao just got better after each bite! The noodles were simple and good with soy sauce. Would recommend for a quick lunch stop.

Finally, got to try legend dumpling + bao and have to say it was just okay. Let me get into it. The food was pretty good. I like the quality and how fresh it tasted and when I bite into the dumpling it was oozing the juices from dumpling. The service, oh the service really was not very good. For not many people being in the shop it took a very long time to get our food and we were dining in and they gave us a To go box instead of dine in ware. The atmosphere or ambiance like I call it, was very pleasant! I have to say LDB is worth giving a try.

Authentic bao and dumplings just as you would see in any Chinese neighborhoods. All of them are steaming hot and taste handmade and fresh and juicy. The soup is well made as well, super flavorful and soft and the portion is very generous. The interior and service are great too - not pretentious and just having the right, comfortable vibe

Quick service spot in a clean modern setting. We went with a group just to try dumplings so can't speak to whole menu. Most of the dumplings were delicious. The stand out was pork and pickled cabbage! Make sure you pick up the chili oil and black vinegar at the counter. The Xiao Long Bao are disappointing if you're looking for a traditional soup dumpling. These were more like the bready traditional Bao with a little meatball and gravy consistency inside. They were good but not like a soup dumpling. Staff was friendly. There are better choices for dumplings in Chinatown but if you're in a hurry this is a reliable choice.

Great value for dumplings and noodles. The self service can be a little hectic with a large group or family with children, but they have water, sauce, utensils ready available, so it will be fine once you get thru the ordering process. Food tasted great at a very reasonable price and fairly fast kitchen. Great place for lunch, snack, or dinner in the "old" Chinatown.
