Stayed at a hotel nearby and came here for dinner. I believe this is a new location for the Legal Sea Foods chain. Came relatively early evening in the middle of the week and the place was pretty quiet. Nice atmosphere, upscale but not stuffy. Unfortunately, the whole experience was pretty meh - both the food and the service. The lobster bisque was good, with small pieces of lobster at the bottom of the bowl. No complaints there. The lobster roll (8 ounces - $43) was big, but the lobster was chewy and the roll was unexceptional. The fries and Cole slaw were fine. I had two other lobster rolls earlier in the week from other Boston restaurants and they were superior to this. The Tuna Burger ($19) (chili-garlic seasoned ground tuna with lettuce tomato and a roasted red pepper sauce) was a bit dry and I didn't get much flavor from the red pepper sauce. We ordered a Caesar salad ($11) that was the highlight of the meal. The dressing was outstanding, the croutons had a nice garlic flavor and crunch, and there was plenty of grated cheese. Ordered a side of Curried Vegetable Medley ($9). The waiter said it was "mild" curry, but it was so subtle that it was annoying. Regular steamed vegetables would have been preferable. The waiter did agree to take the charge for this off the bill. Overall, it was OK. Years ago, Legal Sea Foods was a treat, with delicious seafood and accompaniments. This was just OK and, as I said, the service was the same as the food. Maybe the thing here is to get a soup and salad and go somewhere else for seafood.

This is my favorite Legal Seafood location! The service and atmosphere is always the best.Normally I come during dinner time, but this time it was a quick lunch visit. Nevertheless the service given by the host, and waiter Martin S made the visit absolutely wonderful!I ordered the same thing I have been eating at this location forever.... Baked stuffed lobster! The seafood at this location is the definition of what the finest local sourced New England seafood should taste like. The stuffed lobster is baked with shrimp, scallops, and seafood stuffing. The food and restaurant are so great, I want to keep it a secret...

While visiting Boston I figured I'd eat at Legal Sea Foods since it was across the street from my hotel and a friend suggested I put it on my restaurant list. I came about 6 p.m. during a weekday and it wasn't too busy so service was really great. I ordered oysters on the half shell, crab cake appetizer, and Boston cream pie. All 3 were outstanding!!!! Prior to having oysters at Legal Sea Foods I was absolutely not interested in eating raw oysters, but I'm a believer now. I'd previously had oysters in the South, but clearly New England oysters are a different (and delicious) ball game. The oysters I had were sourced from Maine, Canada, and Massachusetts and they were so delicious I order a second round. The crab cake appetizer was a decent sized crab cake and was served with a small side salad. The Boston cream pie was also very delicious and was surprisingly the first I'd ever had. Overall I really enjoyed Legal Sea Foods and I'll be back when I'm visiting Boston.

Six of us descended on the newest Legal location in Park Square on a Friday night and it was dead, just about 5 parties in a very large space. So that's not great in terms of the overall dining experience, but then the food didn't have much pizazz either. Clam chowder and my favorite salad, wedge with blue cheese dressing, were both very good, but nothing else inspired--and I tasted the ciopinno, the grilled shrimp (kinda dry), a few other things ordered by companions. It was an off night, or maybe they are just overextending themselves with this new location.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Legal Sea Foods, I hit one of them every time I am in Boston. I was working in Boston and my wife was traveling with me, and I ALWAYS hit Legal Sea Foods on my first night. The Park Square location was convenient, so I made a reservation and we headed there. We were seated quickly upon arrival, handed menus, and we ordered drinks. I ordered a Harpoon IPA, a local favorite, cold and tasty. Our waiter came to take our order, I ALWAYS have a lobster, or 2 depending on the price. I ordered 2 different sizes, this time was a pound and a half and a 2 pounder. I also ordered their scrumptious Clam Chowder, which I consider the best in the world. My wife also ordered chowder and had the Street Cod as a main. Our Chowders came and we piping hot and delicious. Then, my lobsters arrived, on separate plates as they were both so large! I love cracking my own lobster, there is something cathartic about the process, it makes the meal even sweeter for me. My wife enjoyed her cod as well. Our server was friendly and funny and checked on us during our meal. All in all, another perfect meal at Legal. We shared the Chocolate Pudding Cake for dessert. Legal Sea Foods has never failed me, and this visit was no different.

Came for lunch at the bar. Ordered the lunch special with the lobster roll and asked for salad to be subbed for the fries and salad. No problem, the bartender said.Food came- no salad. The lobster was dry as heck. Not tender, neither warm nor cold, just dry. The fries were mushy. I asked for my salad, he said sure, and 15 minutes later it never arrived. But that didn't stop him from charging me $7 on my bill- and then trying to explain it as "how you place the order" when I called him on it.Damn, what's happened to this chain? I want my $36 back.

Bland food, but service was attentive. It's a big chain so my expectations were low. I'm from NYC originally and had fun asking the waitress if they had Manhattan style clam chowder. She pretended to have never heard of such a thing. Imagine!!

The food here was excellent and staff really positive. The address makes it a bit hard to find and we called and staff came out and found us.
