The menu at Lee's is pretty extensive but luckily everything we ordered was quite yummy. Despite the high ceilings and open atmosphere, I found the establishment to be inviting and homey, as the large space was filled with an array of snacks and candies. Service was quick and all of our food tasted very fresh. The sandwiches did not have the egg-shell outer layer I expected but were nonetheless flavorful and uniquely oniony. My favorite of all was the cha gio which I devoured before I could take a picture. Both iced coffees were amazing. The ube Vietnamese coffee was beautiful in color and taste. The sea salt Vietnamese coffee was unexpectedly also very tasty.I'm grateful Lee's is available in stores and that I can even get the coffee concentrate from Costco! The sandwiches themselves are not my personal favorite banh mis but are indeed delicious in their own right.

We went here on Sunday August 11th. Right off the bat we were not even greeted by the cashier or any of the other employees. The cashier didn't even say a word, he just stood there next to another employee. It wasn't even busy either. There were maybe 4 people sitting down inside. But I mean it's just common decency to say something like, "Hey guys welcome to Lee's what can I get for you?" I don't expect much, just acknowledgment lol. We are already familiar with Lee's as we've always been recommended to buy the concentrate from Costco, we were just excited to finally see a Lee's Sandwiches here in SD. I ordered a caramel frappe and a bbq pork banh mi. The frappe was not good. Whoever made it absolutely did not try. The consistency of a frappe should not have a bunch of ice chips. It should've been smooth like every other frappe in the world? Not sure how that was butchered. I told my man I didn't pay $7 for a drink that I have to chew on & don't even enjoy so they made another one, but even that one wasn't that great... The banh mi was alright. I live in Mira Mesa so maybe my standards are too high in that aspect. The best product we purchased were the ground coffee beans so that we can make it at home.

amazing assortment of drinks at a Lees. Was very surprised to see the variety of food here. Service was very fast and food was goodLots of seating and parking outside. Great for a quick run. Not too crowded, Ube coffee was very delicious and loved the coffee jelly they topped it off with. Would get it again.

I was in SoCal this weekend so of course I'm going to stop by to grab my favorite coffee. The coffee is always so creamy and sweet. I ordered the original coffee in a large size it cost $7.49. When I walked in the store it was nice and clean. Right away I was greeted by the cashier. Highly recommend to any coffee drinkers.

We have Lee's back where I'm originally from so seeing a Lee's Sandwiches in SD, we had to stop by! The ambiance is very similar to others as it's a chain. It was clean and looked like a normal banh mi store! Service was fast and the store itself was not busy. We got our sandwiches within 5 minutes of seating ourselves in the dining area. Overall the sandwiches are good, but not great banh mi's in my opinion. Id rate them a 3/5. I'd definitely come back here again for a quick bite though! Still delicious sandwiches and pretty flavorful. I really like their bread, they make it really fresh. What makes this review four stars is, their iced coffee!! I believe they have one of the best iced coffees I've tasted in a really long time. Can't wait until we're around the area again!

This Vietnamese sandwich shop is fairly new. Open 7am-8pm, they have a variety of meals and drinks. Viet Coffee is bomb, the sandwiches are good but honestly I had better. ++ their bread is fresh their seating inside and outside I believe. This located in a small plaza with other businesses, so it's a nice place to stop for a bite

I came in to try the Ube Coffee that I saw on Instagram. While it is very tasty, it is SO strong. Like, overwhelmingly strong & now I have a headache :( I don't drink coffee often and this was my first time trying Vietnamese coffee so I didn't know what to expect. I didn't even get halfway through it. If you give their coffee a try, you have been warned!

I do love some rocket fuel, or as it's commonly known as, "Vietnamese coffee." Seeing that Lee's is close to home, it's become my spot for a quick fix when I need a pick-me-up. Aside from the coffee, how can you not like a Bánh Mì? While good, it's not always what I grab off of the menu. Sometimes it's some spring rolls, sometimes it's a "European" sandwich, on a baguette, of course. The prices here are right, the quality is good, you're eating in no time at all, and the service is always pleasant. What more can you ask for from the "World's Largest Bánh Mì Chain?" The answer is: not too much else.

While in San Diego my son's girlfriend suggested we go to Lee's for lunch. Store was clean and the service was quick. We got coffee, a Passion Fruit Drink and sandwiches. As said many times in reviews the drinks are amazing, coffee was strong and full of flavor. I had the Passion Fruit and it was tasty and very refreshing. We all got the BBQ Pork sandwich. It was a nice sandwich, bread was excellent but they do skimp on the meat portion. Overall we did enjoy the visit and most likely will be back when in the area again.
