Interior is beautiful and parking is right next door in the lot. You have to pay $5 for 2 hours. Service was very mediocre. Staff was not very attentive despite hardly having any other customers at the time. Summer rolls 2/10 - dry, stale, cold, avoid orderingVietnamese coffee 4/10 - diluted, not even a real vietnamese coffee, would not recommend Chicken clay pot 7/10 - comes in a hot clay pot, chicken and rice was nice and crispy, roasted garlic and vegetables inside made the whole dish hearty, I'd recommend this filling dish If you come here, maybe just get the main entree food and nothing else

ParkingParking is free on the street on Sundays. Otherwise there is parking in the garage. There are 3 spaces reserved for LeFat in the deck, first level (free parking). The 3 spaces are to your left when you drive in.RestaurantThe decor in the restaurant is dark, nothing special. Our waiter was nice, but his fingernails were filthy. Initially I thought he had black polish on the tips, but it was dirt under the nails. Thankfully the bartender served most of our food. The Shaken Steak was very tender, not much flavor, the onions did add flavor. The salad that was served with the dish was very fresh. The lemongrass shrimp was awesome. Did not taste much lemongrass but still flavorful. We also ordered the garlic crab noodle. The noodles were flavorful but not much crab. I would definitely order the three dishes again. My spouse and I we the first ones in the restaurant. There was one other table of three and the wait for the food was incredibly long. But, I am on the fence whether I will return, the dirty nails and the wait time vs the great food.

This was a very dissatisfying visit, however, the customer service we received by our server is definitely 4 stars...it probably would have been better if a manager came out to express some type of regret. I looked at the menu ahead of time and was so looking forward to the clay pot with salmon. They were out of salmon. I wanted spring rolls but they have shrimp inside and cannot be removed...I'm allergic. We ended up sharing the shaking beef based on other reviews on Yelp. It could have been my disappointment but I really didn't care for the dish. It lacked flavor and was not very tender. It's a cool spot with some outdoor seating. Although, I don't see myself returning it might work out differently for you.

Revisited Le Fat. It's one of my favs. Have not been in a couple of years. Very nice decor and perfect for date night. Always great service and pleasant staff. They changed the calamari, was not a fan. The pieces were too big. Must try dishes are the shaken beef and crab noodles. The beef is tender and well seasoned. Can't get enough of this dish. So good!!!! Parking: street and paid parking available in the garage next door.

The bun bowl is really delicious as well as the sandwiches. I definitely didn't enjoy that my husband food came out entirely after our guest was done eating.

I dined at Le Fat with a group of friends on a Saturday night, and our experience was just okay. The food and service weren't horrible -- they just weren't great. I'd recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.I started with the soft shell BLT bao which sounded great because I love soft shell BLT sandwiches and bao buns. The dish, however, was a bit bland and uninteresting. The bao bun was the most disappointing part; it seemed store-bought, overly chewy, and very bland, and its proportion overpowered the rest of the dish. The soft shell crab itself was crispy and the veggies were fresh. For my entree, I had the pork belly bowl, which was fine but pretty boring. It came with only a few small pieces of pork belly that were dry and low-flavor, and it had a disproportionately large portion of rice below with very little sauce. Of my friend's dishes, I also tried the clay pot chicken dish, which we all agreed was the best-tasting item albeit one coming out pretty burnt. I also tried the calamari which had good seasoning, but the squid seemed overcooked and chewy. Our server was friendly, but at times the service was a bit slow. Also, our food came out a bit inconsistently with some having to wait several minutes to begin eating. The restaurant itself is a nice space, and it seems that they can accommodate larger groups. Parking in the adjacent parking garage is tight, slightly overpriced, and seemingly not validated -- I wish they had some parking details listed online. Overall, I definitely wouldn't seek to visit Le Fat, but I would be open to trying it again if a friend was really interested.

A fantastic stop for some fun fusion. Great service. Easy to get into. And great food. If visiting the midtown area, definitely worth considering.
