Le Créole Haitian Cuisine

Today, Mon Amour and I were hit with a serious craving for some authentic Haitian flavors--specifically, Pikliz and griot. After being let down by the limited options around us, I did a quick Google search and stumbled upon a food truck that looked promising. The pictures alone made my mouth water, so we decided to give it a shot.We both ordered the griot (fried pork) with rice, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The highlight for me was being able to request the meatiest cuts with no fat, and the result was nothing short of perfection. The pork was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the rice was rich and savory without being overly salty. The presentation was so impressive that it felt like we were looking at a work of art.The portions were generous, the plates were heavy with deliciousness, and the food itself was simply outstanding. But what made the experience truly special was sharing it with my love, who wore the same satisfied expression as we savored each bite. I'm already planning our next visit--it's too good to have just once!

This is the kind of Haitian food you'd get in NYC and Florida. The food truck is in a good location where you can park and also get out and eat. The lady who took my order was very responsive when I called to confirm they're open (you can check their IG tho) and gave me AMAZING service. The food is flavorful, I had the fried chicken and fried pork which came with plantains, sauce, pikliz (pickled cabbage), rice and a salad. The portions were good/solid. But most importantly it was very flavorful. I'll 100% be returning and will recommend this to everyone I know.
