I was in the mood for some lassi and I have wanted to check out the place for a while, so I did today after work. The place looks cute and cozy but the food was underwhelming, to be honest. I had the Paneer rice dish - paneer was ok but the rice was bunched and squashed into balls, which diminished the texture of the dish. Lassi is pretty average. It's acceptable but I would have preferred it to be a little sweeter. Most likely I'm not going back.

I stopped for lunch and the place is cute albeit in a fairly inconvenient location unless you live or work in the neighborhood. The service was very underwhelming and the person who took my order wasn't friendly or very enthusiastic. On both dishes they put one little sprig of cilantro and it's pieces had obvious black mold on it. The first dish came out with one and the second as well. I can't imagine the cook didn't notice it as well. Serving something that is rotten is a very off putting thing.

We were in the area and decided to try this place. We ordered Vada Sambar, Idli Vada Sambar, and Mango Lassi. Idli, Sambar and coconut chutney that it comes with were good. The Vada though was not vada, it as some batter deep fried and it was ice cold. They served it right out of the fridge without even heating it, let alone fried fresh. Mango lassi was good, but couldn't make up for the vada disaster.

Amazing regional food from Maharasera close to Mumbai. Many different options, food is clean, filling, and plentiful! Great service, and helpful tips. No added unnecessary salts and plenty of vegan options including vegan lassis! If you are in the Fremont area, I encourage you to check this place out and treat yourself, or a friend. It is also relaxed enough to focus on any necessary tasks. I would have taken a photo but the food did not last!

What a disappointment! Went here after chilling at gas works park. I was excited to see masala chai and some Indian snacks on the menu.They have a nice lineup of exciting Indian snack items on menu but nothing close to authentic or delicious. We got basic things like chai, samosa and parantha. The chai had too much sugar and it seemed like a chai tea latte from Starbucks, made from from pre-made powder. The aloo parantha seemed re-heated frozen packs. Nothing great to write about the samosa chaat or the pav. What a waste of money and time.

Perfect after-sledding snack! I was so happy they were still open when we walked by on our way home. We chose cold drinks today in lieu of their many hot ones after working up a sweat and our appetites from sledding. We took our drink and food to go. The drinks were delicious and not too sweet. The samosas were perfectly made and tasty. These both hit the spot and were such a nice treat and change from the typical hot cocoa and cookie that we used to get when Essential Bakery was open. Next time, I am eyeing their large variety of Chai drinks to choose from and other food offerings.

I'm not too familiar with the Wallingford area so after a nice stroll around the neighbourhood, I decided to stop in for some food. First off, the vibe is fabulous for a chill day. Bright and inviting, clean and cozy. There are cute trinkets sprinkled throughout among the plants giving the feel of sitting in a comfortable living room. I ordered a Bournvita latte with oat milk and it was perfect. I'm a big fan of malt flavour so this drink was right up my alley. So creamy and soothing. Then, I had a samosa chaat. The bowl was small but the dish was very filling and so hearty and satisfying. There was a little kick in each bite, which I loved. This is a great place to sit with a soothing drink and a book or to get some work done. I highly recommend stopping by .

I love chai and was so excited to find such a close cafe. I went once and wouldn't go back. The chai was very powdery and heavily spiced, oddly soapy. It was also $9.
