I had the opportunity to try this food truck at Tipsy Cactus brewery. I got there 1 hour or less into them being open and they had run out of wings which is what I originally wanted. I ended up going with the carne asada tacos and jollaf rice. The tacos were good but unfortunately the jollaf rice tasted burnt and I could not manage to eat and neither my friend who ordered the same thing which is unfortunate as it made for almost half the plate. I've had jollaf rice before and was super excited to get it from an authentic place. I think prices are a little elevated for the value you get. It takes a little while to get your food so keep that in mind when ordering. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Great Nigerian food. The jollof rice is excellent with the fried chicken and salad. Definitely the place to go for a taste of Africa.

Price: Great price for fresh food.Food Quailty: Great. Wings - Phenomenal. Fries - needed seasoning. Pastry Puff - semi sweet, doughy, could stand to have more power sugar.Wait-time: 15+ minutesCustomer Service: Kind. Friendly.Constructive Feedback: The young lady that was taking the orders can stand to know the menu. Also, the truck should arrive earlier to ensure that everything is up and running. The entire menu was not available (i.e. shrimp).

One of my favorite food trucks in Phoenix, and I do my best to stop by whenever it's in my area. Chef Patty and her husband/crew make awesome Nigerian (west african) food in traditional ways and also some options that are more familiar to someone new to the cuisine. The first time, I had the Suya fries, which I enjoyed, but the second time I got the Jollof rice with beef and I think it's my new fave. Nice taste/texture, mild to medium spice level but enough to linger in a pleasant way, and has a nice smoky flavor. I avoid the puff puff pastries only because I could eat like 20 of them in a row and I'm not sure how happy my wife would be. They also offer fufu/plantain dishes for people looking for more traditional options. To sum it up:Delicious, nice people, local, cool vibes, reasonable pricing, and a business I'm happy to add to my repertoire of recommendations!

Tried the Egusi with pounded Yam and jollof rice and it was amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in trying African food in the valley. So far the best I have had and definitely became a returning customer!

Food was so good I started eating it on the drive back home from picking it up. I had the gizzards with plantain and meat pies. Highly recommend.
