Wife and I tried this place out tonight at a complete gamble, and I'm so glad we did. Everything was absolutely delicious - I had the New York Strip and wife devoured her plate of veal parm. Both dishes melted in our mouths and we did not leave a crumb behind. Expensive, but worth every penny. Couldn't remember our waiter's name, but he was excellent. Before we ate dinner, we sat at the bar and were treated to an incredible assortment of drinks from Anthony and there was an amazing piano player named Peter who took our song requests. Thanks for playing "Chasing Cars" for us!Our first time here, but definitely not our last. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Perhaps I visited this restaurant on an off night? I'm looking at all the reviews and they seem quite positive however that was not my experience.I was in town for a conference, and fortunately , I have family close by. We made a reservation at Zio's so we expected an easy night. As soon as we arrived we knew this was gonna be a problem. We drove through the lot twice looking for a place to park and realized there were only two options; you park in the garage, which was a $60 fee or you valeted. We tried calling the restaurant while driving in circles to see if we would have to pay $60 just to park and then pay to eat there as well. We were told yes, which I thought was crazy. Finally, the hostess said that she would speak with the hotel desk and they agreed to let us park in the garage and they would validate our ticket for free parking. That was great, but it made us late for our reservation and we had a call the restaurant a ton of times before anyone even answered the phone. The person we had as a waiter didn't seem to have too much personality which that's fine. However, they swung by the table way too many times while we were still trying to pick out wine and look at the menu to even determine what we wanted to order. The food came out way too fast and none of it was hot...at all. We decided to order three separate meals and share them and every time we moved a plate towards another area of the table so that we had room someone would come by and try to pick it up and take it away even though it still had food on it. After a while collectively we were like please Lord just leave the plates lol. The food was OK nothing to write home about sadly. Everything looked so good on the menu and online so we were a bit disappointed with the final result.I think the kicker came at the end of the meal when received our bill. Because my mom and sister are Nevada residents and we booked this reservation through OpenTable, we thought that we would receive a discount on our meal. It stated on the OpenTable app when making the reservation that Nevada residents would receive a certain percentage off their bill as long as it was over $100 at the time. We asked our waiter about this and they weren't sure so they went and asked the manager. The waiter came back and said they have no idea what we're talking about even though we showed them the app with the language referring to said discount. There is no other explanation and the manager never bothered to come speak to us. So we paid the tab and we left.None of us left there very happy. The food was barely warm. The service was mediocre. I truly hope that whoever goes to this restaurant does not need to pay $60 to park first and then go eat and pay more. I also just checked OpenTable again just to see if they had removed that discount language and it's still there. I hope that OpenTable and Zio's can come to some kind of arrangement and remove that language so people don't become confused. Sadly, Zio is no longer on our list of places to go to.

Located inside the Renaissance Hotel where ENVY steakhouse used to be. We came here for dinner on a Saturday night. We had reservations for 7:30pm and were seated promptly. We were given 2 square pieces of focaccia bread (each piece was slice led into smaller pieces) with oil and vinegar. I ordered the 20 layer lasagna - texture was good, a little bland and the slice I got barely had any bolognese in it. My boyfriend ordered the Pappardelle with short rib ragu. It had very good flavor - I thought it was perfect (not bland and not too much). Shredded/pulled short rib pieces with mushroom. Pasta was cooked al dente. We ordered the cheesecake with poached pears. It was really very delicious !Our server was Josh provided great service. He was nice, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Ambiance is casual, well-lit and not too loud. Price is reasonable and portions are just right. We will return to this place.

Located just off the strip, Zio is the perfect restaurant to get a nice dinner away from all the craziness. It was such an unforgettable fine dining experience. They had a great curated menu with something on their for everyone! Our waiter Joshua was fantastic and one of the most attentive and energetic waiters I have had. We tried a variety from the arancini and grilled pear salad to the branzino to the different pastas. I also got their espresso martini and chocolate mousse. Everything was great and i highly recommend for an elevated and relaxing experience.

Las Vegas, NV - December 1, 2024A comfortable elegance is how I would describe the ambiance. Our server, Alexis, was friendly, professional and attentive. We started with focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then chose to split the Zio's Caesar Salad ($18) and the 20-Layer Lasagna Bolognese ($35). We also ordered a very reasonably-priced bottle of Chianti. We enjoyed the Caesar salad with the house-made dressing. The lasagne pasta was fresh, and the ragu bolognese béchamel with melted mozzarella was delicious. Highly recommend.

For those seeking an elegant Italian dining experience, Zio's LV delivers sophistication, impeccable flavors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're gathering with family and friends or looking for an intimate date night setting, this restaurant seamlessly balances refinement and comfort.Accompanied by my daughters who are young foodies, we indulged in a feast that showcased both culinary craftsmanship and premium ingredients. The beef tartare was velvety and rich, while the tuna sashimi was pristinely fresh, offering a delicate yet vibrant bite. The 20-layer lasagna--a true showstopper--was an indulgent masterpiece, with each layer melting seamlessly into the next. And, of course, the ribeye steak was a triumph, cooked to perfection with a deeply satisfying char.To close the evening, we savored a classic tiramisu, its airy mascarpone and espresso-soaked layers delivering the perfect finale.Zio's LV is more than just a meal--it's an experience, one that lingers long after the last bite. A must-visit for Italian cuisine lovers.

The included breakfast on our reservation is just a treat. All American (eggs, protein, toast) executed perfectly - even tricky medium poached eggs. What I found especially delightful at 0630 is our server, Lee. Friendly and personable service with a sincere smile that suggests 'be lucky' during our short time here in Vegas. A great start to the week!
