Haven't been here in awhile, but today was a curry type of day. Got there about 15-20 minutes after they opened, we were the only patrons , but it looked like they had a bunch of to go orders ready to go. We ordered the gyoza (5 pieces), my dining companion ordered the tonkatsu ramen and I ordered the regular size curry with pork katsu level one spiciness. The gyoza came out first, nicely crispy fried. No serving dishes accompanied the gyoza, so we ate over our napkins. Since there were only five it wasn't worth bothering the server for plates, but still, plates should have been a no brainer. My dining companions ramen came out next, a fairly large serving .The broth was different from other tonkatsu style taste wise, but still ok. Three slices of pork, a good helping of corn, but no 1/2 soft cooked egg. We figured that due to the egg shortage and crazy prices, they just omitted it for the time being. My curry came out finally, pretty plentiful curry and just enough rice. The katsu was crispy and tender. The spice level was higher than expected . The server said that each chef measured but sometimes they aren't all the same.It was ok, but I would have preferred a less spicy dish. All in all a decent meal. They still do a ten percent military discount.
