Pros: Fast and good service and good food. Cons: None reallyDetails: This is probably my favorite Yama location as it tends to be a little less busy and it is easy to get to. It's not cheap, but you get good quality sushi. We have been here a few times and service has always been good. The sushi is well made with quality ingredients.

What do you want for dinner hunny?? Sushi? Ok! Happy Hour, on a Friday? Hmm..ok! Yama Sushi it is!! We walked in and stood there for about 5 mins waiting until someone greeted us and told us they're preparing a table and to wait on the waiting area where there's a booth. We waited about 10 mins and were seated. Another 5 mins wait for our water then our server approached us to take our orders and we fired away lol He kept up quite well. They did forget my 1/2 order of Dragon Rolls and Yam Yam rolls tho and I ended up cancelling my Dragon roll in the end. Food came fast. Happy Hour daily, yes! I meant EVERYDAY! Even on weekends for the price of $25.99 from 9pm -close and the menu includes 1 oyster per person and fish collar aka Kama. Hubby was happy he got his uni. We both ordered miso soup altho they have other choices such as udon soup and it was in a small portion which is how I like it. Hubby ordered fish salad which was a big portion and he struggled to finish itWe had mochi ice cream to finish the meal which was included. Overall, a great value. I would come back again

My go to ayce sushi! I love going for their happy menu price of $26 from 9p-closing. Unfortunately my bf does not like seafood but loves coming with me since there is a wide variety of fried appetizers that he enjoys. This spot is also good for those who like a little more rice to their fish ratio for the nigiri. On a Sunday night, we were sat and served immediately. Lastly, unlike most ayce dessert, you can get one mochi ice cream and one scoop of ice cream.

Yama is my favorite ayce sushi place. My first experience was the og one on the east side, and then I started going to the one on spring mtn, which is my fave location- however, the parking lot is small and busy. This place is just like the spring mtn location, except it has ample parking. We came here on a Sunday night and they had plenty of seating available. Our server got all of our food in and it came out quick, but randomly. The food was made the same as the other locations- delicious. The benches were pretty worn and taped up, but the overall place seemed spacious and had high ceilings. If I'm driving my beater, I'll prob skip this location and go to the Yama on spring mtn, but if I have my daily, I'd prob go to this location since I'd have more parking options.

We had lunch here, not the AYCE, just a bento lunch. Not much of a selection. It was alright. It did the job. Or feeling the AYCE that day. Just wanna eat and go. Nice good vibe.

Food was good enough to fullfill my files hunger.Service was awesome at the beginning. But when the friday evening rush. Orders slowed down and made its way to different tables. Ordering system is outdated (paper) I think that's where it gets confusing. Ambiance environment goes to big private rooms to combo tables that can fit 8 people. Bar has a great view of the TV playing sports while private in the south corner was playing NEWS. Our service was awesome (khop khun). gratuity is added for large parties. We paid with cash.

This is my second time coming here, and this time I brough my boyfriend who loves sushi as much as he loves me. (and me to him) We ordered our usual Nigiris. I loved that the happy hour comes with the Hamachi Kama, the Uni, the Sashimi salad (the hot sauce we love), and soft shell crab. It's quite rare for locations to have the Hamachi kama available at a certain time, so I love that this was still there. The service was quick and efficient. We were not as attended to, compared to other tables. But we also weren't needing as much, since we came to know what we wanted. The ambianace is a quieter version compared to the other branches, but it was also late. I love the place being clean, and kept enough, for a business like Yama Sushi who has been in the Vegas Valley AYCE game since before I moved here in 2014.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Tonkatsu Bowl and a Lunch Combo of BBQ Ribs and Salmon Teriyaki. Tonkatsu is a simple dish with just rice and fried pork but white the tonkatsu was crunchy, it was on the drier side and the sauce was slightly tart. The lunch combo had a smaller portion but the salmon was moist and the kalbi sweet and tender. The food was packaged really well to go and they even provided some miso soup!Service: 5/5 - slight language barrier since she seemed a little bit confused when we mentioned we were ordering to go and selected lunch special items. Ambiance: n/n - ordered food to go. Large spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Does feel a bit darker inside despite it being such a sunny day. Value for price: 5/5 - yummy food, quick service, but smaller portions! Note that there's a 3% credit card surcharge. For dine-ins, they give a free soft drink if you check in on write a review on Yelp.

I came in for a lunch after a long workout and errands and pretty famished. I used to work at a sushi restaurant in SoCal so know a lot of rolls but only really eat nigiri sushi bc in purist that way, so can't speak to the rolls, but everything was fresh and came out fast and I could tell they were making the sushi rice with the sushi vinegar. I ate a lot more things than the picture, was a great option for AYCE away from the strip and easy find and park. Note that they charge an extra 3% for a credit card payment. Will bring more people next time!

I've been to Yama Sushi many times and went to many locations. This was my second time here and my last time. To have 2 tables, me being one, was only asked ONCE if we needed anything else for an AYCE Sushi experience. No one was attentive. 3 works including a food runner, waiter and sushi chef. Didn't get offered dessert once we needed the check. This made me not want to have sushi again. I will never be back. This was also during lunch hours.
