As Downtown Henderson continues its growth, new businesses have joined the ranks. World of Scoopz is among my favorite businesses on Water Street now. Located next to Lovelady Brewing, it is right at the entrance of Water Street. FoodWorld of Scoopz has a ton of different players of ice cream and gelato. They have a rotating list of seasonal favorites, as well as new ones come out frequently. My favorite flavor has been the Exhausted Parent, which is a mix of coffee and bourbon ice cream. 5/5ServiceThe service has been outstanding every time I have visited. Staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. We have even come near closing before, and they still delivered great service. 5/5Ambiance World of Scoopz has the familiar feel of an ice cream parlor. It is clean and well kept. The ice cream displays are very invited and there is ample seating inside and out. 4/5World of Scoopz is a welcome addition to Downtown Henderson. Prices are reasonable compared to similar places and the food is top notch. Definitely give it a try.

Ice cream for the birthday boy? Yes please! Ice cream all around! We tried this relatively new spot on Water Street to get a birthday treat because not only has it done so well on Yelp but we've heard great things word of mouth as well. And you really can't beat that for recommendations! Plus, we really want to support the Water Street businesses. We don't treat ourselves to ice cream very often - maybe once in a while on vacation. We NEVER splurge for 2 scoops each! (Usually share, in fact). But this was a birthday celebration so we went big! The place is super cute with neon lights and fun ice cream graphics on the walls. (Unfortunately, the "gelato is also neon colored, but more on that below...). The staff behind the counter was very friendly and tolerant of the birthday boy who wanted a good number of samples (which are offered as part of her standard initial introduction). There was a decent number of ice cream flavor options, and several of them had a lot of "stuff" in it. My husband jokes that I like a little ice cream with my mix ins, so this was right up my alley. The texture and consistency were spot on - creamy, not hard for a spoon and didn't melt too fast. My only complaint about the ice cream is that there were very few gluten free options. There was also gelato and a couple flavors of sorbet. The gelato is not true gelato and should really just be called plain ice cream. Authentic gelato is naturally colored and flavored - this definitely was not. The colors were bright and the flavors were dull - pretty much the opposite of what gelato should be. The texture and consistency was also very much like ice cream, not the smooth icy consistency of gelato. None of us tried the sorbet. I'd come again, but only order ice cream.

When you are craving something cold and sweet on Water Street, World of Scoopz is a great option. The service is friendly and the ice cream delicious. While roaming around Henderson and in need of something sweet we stumbled on World of Scoopz. It was a very happy find. Walking in the shop is very clean and brightly lit. The guy behind the counter was very nice when we said we had never been there before. He gave us some samples of the flavors we found interesting. Since it is ice cream, it is almost impossible to decide on only one flavor. Here that is no problem, they have an ice cream flight. It gives you four mini scoops of any flavors you want. We decided on the Rhubarb Crumble, Blackberry Lemon Bar, Fat Elvis and, This ?&$! Just Got Serious. All were fantastic flavors. The Rhubarb Crumble was sweet but had a tart that just kept building. The BlackBerry Lemon Bar was citrusy and refreshing with a slight pucker. Fat Elvis which is banana ice cream with peanut butter and I think chocolate was fun and more savory. This ?&$! Just Got Serious, is salted caramel ice cream with sea salted fudge and salted cashews was fun and different. All of them together balanced each other out with a little savory, a little salt, some sweet and some tart. It was fun to be able to go back and forth between the flavors. This is just a cute place. It had a great selection of ice cream, that won't leave you disappointed.

This place is neat! They have a great variety of ice cream and gelato with lots of great topping options. The service is fast and friendly and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are moderate and the serving size is average. Fun little place to stop for a snack!

My family and I came down here for dinner one night and decided to get ice cream after. We walked in 15 minutes to closing, and we were not rushed at all, they actually stayed open for us to hang out a little bit and eat our ice cream so service is out of this world. As for the ice cream it was delicious and there's many flavors to choose from. I highly recommend trying this place after having dinner not only is the service phenomenal, but the ice cream is to die for

If you're looking for a solid but not amazing ice cream shop, this is the place.World of Scoopz is a new spot on Water Street in Henderson that has been doing pretty well on Yelp so far. I felt like treating myself today, so I stopped by in the late afternoon. Parking was easy enough to find in the back. After I entered the store, the employee greeted me, explained their menu briefly, and immediately asked if I wanted samples. I took advantage of the opportunity to try a decent amount of their 11 gelato (locally sourced) and 12 ice cream flavors (from some Wisconsin company) before settling on my choices for a Triple Scoopz ($9.95).I ordered mango sorbet, creme brulee gelato, and caramel apple pie. They were all packed into a huge cup. The mango had pretty solid flavor although the texture was oddly airy for a sorbet. The creme brulee was not too sweet and tasted pretty consistent. The caramel apple pie ran a bit heavy on cinnamon at times.I enjoyed being able to use my spoon easily to eat the ice cream, as opposed to some other places around town, but at the same time, those other places simply have more well-crafted and intense flavors in general. I also was turned off by how neon the gelato colors were - whichever unnamed local Vegas gelato maker is responsible for this, they just need to make better flavors instead of hiding behind food coloring.A complimentary water dispenser was available for customers, which I loved. They also kept the place cool on an unusually hot October day, and the lone Bluetooth speaker on the other side of the room managed to play music at a decent but still quiet volume. The merch section seems very ambitious to me, but I guess other people might absolutely love the place? Maybe the Dole Whips, shakes, or availability of Keurig coffee are more interesting options.World of Scoopz is a decent ice cream oasis in a desert area that still could use a lot more of them. I'll consider stopping by in the future mainly because they're one of the closest dessert shops to where I live, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone go out of their way to visit.

World of Scoopz is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The variety here is amazing--whether you're in the mood for rich, creamy gelato a classic, refreshing sorbet, or ice cream, they have it all.I tried their Pistachio Gelato and Strawberry Sorbet, and both were delicious. It's definitely the real deal. This is a family owned and operated establishment, let's show them some love, what a great addition to Water Street.

We attended the soft opening this weekend and had the best experience. Everyone there was friendly and excited - you can tell they put a lot of love and care into this place. I love the selection and flavors: I got cookie dough ice cream and my boyfriend got cookies and cream gelato. They offer samples to help you decide. It's very cute inside with bright decor and a sprinkles theme. Parking was easy - we parked right on the street or front - and prices were very reasonable.Next time, we'll try the soft serve and a horchata gelato milkshake. They also have a selection of tasty sodas. What a fantastic addition to downtown Henderson.

I heard about this place through City of Henderson and wanted to try it out. Wow. Such yummy ice cream. I love that they have their own unique flavors. They also have gelato and sorbet for those who can't do dairy. It's such a cute little pace to visit and the customer service is outstanding. I personally loved the Bourbon Pecan Pie ice cream. Can't wait to visit again!
