Walking down Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas and having a few drinks along the way can definitely work up an appetite. I hardly ever sit down for a meal on Fremont, but on this night it was much needed. I got on Yelp and this place had lots of reviews with excellent ratings. It is located on the second floor of the famous Binion's Hotel and Casino. What makes this place stand apart from all the other restaurants in the area is the open air, rotating bar that overlooks Fremont Street. From what I read, there is only 25 seats in that section of the restaurant, so expect a wait. We did not want to wait so we sat close to the excitement on a regular table. Customer service was really good from start to finish. I don't know why, but I was expecting some tacky décor but it was actually really nice inside and very clean. Because of the open air corner of the restaurant, it can get a little loud depending on what's going on Fremont. Keep that in mind. I started off with a local draft beer. It was nice and cold and very refreshing. For an appetizer, we got an order of the beer battered cheese curds and jalapenos. This was an excellent pairing with the cold beer. It was seasoned well and nice and crispy. I came in thinking a nice burger was going to hit the spot but something made me order something I wouldn't normally order. I went with the meatball sub suggested by our waiter. It was actually a very good sandwich. The portions here are generous. The meatballs were nice and tender and seasoned perfectly. The marinara had a sweet and tangy flavor that was very good. The bread was toasted, yet soft and hard a nice garlic butter on it. The side of fries were hand cut and seasoned right. My table had a variety of items and everyone enjoyed their meals.Overall, this was a good random find for me. I have always seen it and wondered about it every time I have been on Fremont. I can cross it off my list and I will probably be back at some point.

Las Vegas Fremont Street , Super Bowl , hey looking for a spot to catch the festivities for the big game . We stumbled onto this place on Fremont street call Whiskey licker up saloon . Try saying that over and over after having a few . What the heck when in Vegas y'all know the rest . Pregame spread to get the party started as we arrived just in time to get some seats . Main area was taken so we opted to sit in the window seats to be able to watch the game and the freak show happening below us . Shrimp Civechi- was good chips fresh along with salsa Wings lemon pepper / Parmesan were tasty but only on the outside . No seasoning tasted after initial bite , kind disappointing and expected more after presentation. Fries - normal Baked Garlic rolls were tasty but not after they got cold . Once again good presentation . Hostess was the best !! Wanted to take her home with us . Lil Rosie Perez . Her name I think was Tereza , the way she flew around the place you would think she sss the owner making sure everyone was taken care of on Super Bowl Sunday !! Thank you

I've been here a few times & have always enjoyed the food. ...... but yesterday noon, 1-26-2025, I ate the Pork Nachos and got food poisoning. About 6 hours later I was worshiping the porcelain horse barfing and also squirting out the butt. Sorry for the TMII'm generally only post nice Yelp reviews and I will take this down at some point. I am just wondering if anyone else got food poisoning on that same day?

First time visiting the restaurant. Very cool old bar feel, windows overlooking Fremont street and a rotating bar. We were able to be seated quickly. Drinks were brought soon after and food was right after that. I ordered the Jalapeño Cruncher burger but subbed the Impossible patty on there and a side of coleslaw. It was actually pretty dang good. However, I think the star of the show was the pickles. Those things were awesome! The coleslaw was fine. I felt like it had a little too much going on for my liking. Not a ton of options for a vegetarian like myself, but it all looked good. The drink was nice. Casamigos and soda with a lime. 7.9/10 will definitely try it again and recommend to others too.

Looking for a good burger on Freemont Street look no further. And if you are up for a two drink minimum get a seat with a view of all the happenings on the street below. And if you are wanting to be a little healthier LOL the bbq chicken sandwich is so good. And the fries are fried to perfection.

Nice spot to catch a game and eat some good apps. There are plenty of tvs around, the server was friendly. The nachos were great and tasty with every bite. It comes with a lot of jalapeños that are more flavorful than spicy.

I'd give this spot 3.5 stars but, with its unique charm and location, I'll round it up to 4. This bar, nestled right in the heart of the Fremont Street Experience, offers a fun, lively atmosphere that makes it worth checking out if you're in the area. The bar itself is located upstairs, so you'll want to keep an eye out for the signs--it's easy to miss in the midst of all the excitement Fremont Street has to offer. The highlight of the place is undoubtedly the rotating bar, which adds a quirky and entertaining twist to the typical bar experience. It's not something you see every day, and it definitely makes for a fun experience, especially if you're looking to mix things up while grabbing a drink. When it comes to the menu, we ordered beer, whiskey, and some wings. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, it's somewhat expected given the prime location on Fremont. The food was solid for typical bar fare--nothing over-the-top, but tasty and satisfying. The only downside was that the service could have been a bit quicker. Our food took a little longer than expected to arrive, which is something they could improve on.That said, the ambiance more than makes up for the slower service. With its great vantage point overlooking the street, we were treated to a live street performance going on below, making the experience feel like a VIP viewing from above. It's a great spot to take in the energy of Fremont without being right in the thick of the crowds. All in all, this place is a fun stop if you're already exploring the Fremont Street Experience. The rotating bar adds a unique flair, the drinks and food are decent, and the location gives you a great view of the lively street performances below. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area looking for a casual, memorable bar experience.

During my trip in Downtown I needed to park myself, have a seat, some food, and check into my flight. My preference was to find a restaurant that is on the Fremont Experience strip and came across Whiskey Licker up Saloon. Without any knowledge of their menu or anything I gave them a try. The place is located upstairs at Binions. There are signs that point you to the entrance where you will go up some stairs to find the restaurant. I was greeted by the hostess promptly and was seated immediately. I did ask to be indoors and was at in the bar area. (not the rotating bar area) On a Monday they place wasn't crowded at all. My server came to greet me with a menu and something to drink. The menu is pretty extensive with options from a variety of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salad, wings, and dessert. Since I wanted to hit up other places for food I ended up ordering the 9 piece wings with Whiskey Glaze BBQ sauce. Normally I like my wings naked with the sauce on the side but I needed to size up the place to see how good they can be. For a party of one, the appetizers seem a bit steep on price. I did ask if there was a side of fries I can add on to accompany the wings. Since they did I opt for that. The wings were pretty good. A little on the hard overcooked size but it was still tasty. The fries were not my favorite. A lot of the pieces were burnt, soggy and not as tasty. I gotta admit the size of the alcohol drinks were pretty worth it. I downed four Jack and Cokes and was well off. During this visit I sent my friend some photos of my order and told them "we gotta come here and get other food/drink options during our next trip". So I can have more variety and try a bit of everything.Parking: paid private structures in surrounding areaVERDICT: Rinse and repeat

We came in here specifically to people watch and so hubby could warm up at the same time (it was a little chilly outside). I wasn't expecting much. They had Angry Orchard on tap and that was a big plus. Cider is not as free flowing as cheap beer, whether on Freemont or on the Strip. I wasn't hungry, but I didn't want a drink either so I got something to eat to keep our seats. The salad at the bar was passable. I'm still glad they offered it because I didn't want anything fried, I had already been indulgent that morning and needed something green. The grilled pear salad - the grilled pear was not fresh, I'm not sure how they preserved it. They had grill marks, but it was very cold and had the texture and color of having been marinated (or sitting in a cold fridge container). The goat cheese was good, the romaine lettuce mix was fine, and the dried fruit was a little dried out. It served its purpose though - we had a good view and were comfortable.
