Very impressed with your staff! Your hostess greeted me by name when I came back the next night. Everyone that served me the night prior came up and chatted with me as I sat at the bar enjoying my meal and drink. Speaking of drinks, please DO NOT get rid of that Matcha martini! Absolute best drink I had during my stay in Vegas. I dined at the bar area both nights. It was perfect and intimate as I dined there with a friend I hadn't seen in years. We were able to converse freely without having to scream. Wakuda, hands down, was the best dinning experience I've had in Vegas due to the very professional staff, amazing ambiance and outstanding food. Well done!

This spot was absolutely insaneWe did a tasting menu with my group and everything was incredible From the melt in your mouth sushi to the perfectly tender Wagyu beef as well as the insane Oreo shaved ice that was imported straight from Japan This place gives zuma a run for its money The ambience was also incredible

We've been meaning to try Wakuda, and so we finally did! The entrance into the restaurant really transports you to a dimly-lit, classy vibe. Though we were a bit early to our reservation, everyone working there was very kind and offered for us to sit at the bar while we wait and just kept checking up on us to assure us that our table would be opening up soon. We sat at the sushi bar, and the view was very intimate with the chefs at the bar (and we got a peek at the chefs in the kitchen too haha). The restaurant itself is very nice and so much bigger than how it looked from the lobby from how many corridors we walked through to get to our table. We thought the lighting was perfect and that the place wasn't loud despite it being very busy on a Saturday night. We ordered the 6 Course Chef's Tasting Menu as well as the TLM (The Lychee Martini). The martini was so good (and dangerous) -- it is in my top 3 cocktails ever. The edamame that came out first was good, but it wasn't anything too different from other edamames. The first course was a carpaccio plate, and I loved it! The citrus and acidity were perfect! The second course was a beef tartare, and it was my first time having one of these. I have to say, it had a very funky flavor, and it was an experience to try, but I fear I will not be ordering it on my own. The bread with the tartare was very crispy though, and I did enjoy it. The third course was a miso sea bass with a palate cleanser on the side. The sea bass was one of my favorite dishes of the night! The fourth course was a steak of some kind (I'm not well-versed with my steaks unfortunately), but it was my first time having something medium rare, and I now understand why that is the standard cook people strive for -- delicious!!! I was expecting the shishito pepper and mushroom to complement the steak well, but they also tasted a bit funky for me (but I think that was because it reminded of a smell that I do not particularly enjoy). The fifth course was an assortment of sushi and nigiri. The sushi roll was very wasabi-forward, and though I have been getting into eating with wasabi, it was a bit too much wasabi for me to be able to taste anything else in the sushi. The salmon nigiri was good, though I wish it was 2 pieces. The tuna tartare was my favorite part of this dish! The sixth and final course (and my favorite course) was the dessert, and we were given the signature dessert of a miso soft serve with caramel, coconut, gold flakes, and other flavors I cannot remember but enjoyed completely. I thought that each cup had quite a lot of soft serve, but that just meant more for me! That has to be one of my favorite desserts ever, and I will be chasing that high with all soft serves in the future. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Wakuda, and I would love to come back again and try more items! This was my first Asian tasting menu, and it definitely set the standard.

My husband and I chose to come here before a show that we saw at the sphere, and it was a great choice for a wonderful dinner. Atmosphere was very beautiful and modern. Our servers were all very attentive and quick, also providing us with a little history and background info on the food and its origins. We had wonderful cucumber salad, miso soup, crab tacos and garden salad to start. We than had some sushi which was allDelicious except the snow crab was a little fishy and the halibut was bland. The spicy tuna and the unagi rolls were excellent. We decided to try a filet mignon after and it was cooked perfect, tender and delicious. We chose to have a little dessert and it was fantastic!! We had the coffee bean which is mouse with ice cream with some dessert wine. So very good!! Thank you!

Why I didn't book my dinner reservations before arriving in Vegas I don't know. I was lucky to snag an early dinner at Wakuda in the Palazzo.Wakuda is created by two-Michelin star chef Tetsuya Wakuda. The restaurant is known for its omakase menu. After ordering the TLM, with Haku vodka, Ginju sake, lychee, lemon and a Wakamomo peach, we left the ordering up to the capable wait staff J. J brought us Japanese snapper, which was light, citrusy and bright with shiso garnish. Then a firm and rich salmon sashimi with truffle. Mixing it up a little, J brought us tuna on dehydrated toast with black caviar. This was delicious although I wasn't a fan of the toast -- maybe a crispy rice instead? Next was squid tempura with lemon wheels and crispy curried asparagus. I loved this dish. The squid was sliced like a potato chip, perfectly fried, yet still chewy. The lemon wheels, dried, had just the right astringency of citrus, and slightly sweet. Then the little bits of asparagus had just a hint of curry.J served us some very smooth sake before bringing out Japanese A5 wagyu, thinly sliced and then set on fire. The Wagyu was buttery rich and tender, complimented by Japanese cucumbers. Lastly we ordered Kakigōri with Candy Floss, which was a mountain of Kanazawa Shaved Ice, meringue, cookies and cream Oreos with cotton candy floating above it. This was just the right ending to our meal. Our meal was amazing. Starting out with the light sashimi dishes, to the superb Wagyu and then the light mountain of shaved ice, all the dishes were done perfectly. The service was impeccable and the ambience was dark, warm and inviting. Definitely an experience that I'd like to try again.

Wakuda: A Fine Dining Experience that Fell Short of ExpectationsWe visited Wakuda, located in the Palazzo Hotel lobby at the Venetian Resort, based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, our dinner experience was just standard, nothing special. The ambience and decor were undoubtedly the highlights - elegant and sophisticated. However, the food and service didn't quite live up to our expectations. We ordered:- Steamed Edamame with Sea Salt: A nice complimentary start to the meal- Miso Soup: Served first, and was a comforting start- Spicy Seafood Soup: Arrived 10 minutes after the miso soup. However, the soup was simple, healthy and with lots of good quality seafood in it!- Sushi Rolls: Tuna roll was just okay, while the lobster roll was pretty good.- Grilled Chicken with Honey Teriyaki Sauce: Our daughter enjoyed this dish, served with a side of steamed rice- Beet Salad: Arrived late, but was a nice addition to the meal. Definitely recommend this item!Compared to other fine dining experiences at the Venetian Resort, Wakuda fell short. While it wasn't bad, it didn't impress us enough to warrant a return visit.Tips:- Ambience and decor are worth experiencing- Sushi rolls are hit-or-miss- Other restaurants in the Venetian Resort offer more impressive dining experiencesWe'll likely skip Wakuda next time and look forward to trying the new sushi spot opening soon in the resort.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.. EXCEPT when it comes to amazing food, lolWakuda in Vegas by the World-renown Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and 50 Eggs Hospitality Group's establishment surely impresses. The dining room was booked so we ate at a high top in the Lounge and I must say the artwork was exquisite. We ordered multiple items including Trio of Oysters (plus one), Marinated Japanese Cucumber, Crispy Rice (w/ spicy tuna), Kanpachi Carpaccio, Tempura IKA (squid), Beef Tenderloin (w/ ginger miso), Fried Nori Chips (w/ scallop). The culinary presentation and quality of the dishes were on point. The Lounge atmosphere was upbeat yet cozy, and our server Chris was knowledgeable and personable. If you're willing to spend good money on great food, this is the place to be!

I was glad my rideshare knew to drop me off in front of Palazzo. This restaurant is great for a date night or a celebration. Not recommended if you were on a budget.Cooked rolls were great. Servers were all attentive and knowledgeable about their menu. Reservations highly recommended.

To begin, I have not eaten in the restaurant. My observation is limited to the cocktail lounge. The entrance to this establishment is located in the main lobby of the Palazzo Resort. As I went to the front desk or valet area, the music emanating from within got my attention, and I resolved to drop in to check out the space. Is this a good place to hang out? It depends ...During my visit, the music was loud. So, if you're looking for a place to relax or have conversation, this might not be the bar for that. Otherwise ...The cocktail lounge is very stylish. The bartenders mix great cocktails.
