VOICES starring Lani Misalucha at Hilton Las Vegas

Lani was an EXCELLENT singer. I booked this show on a whim. I got a glimpse of the shimmer showroom an hour before the performance. I thought to myself "oh no, expensive mediocre cabaret!". I was wrong. It was good old fashion 'I can sing my a** off entertainment". Lani could definitely compete with ANY singing diva. She sang some classical song (can't remember the name) and she brought down the house. Everyone was standing up and clapping at the end of the song. She sang a variety of stuff (old, modern, etc). She even did a little tribute medley of her favorite singing divas. They were all pretty much spot on. The crowd definitely responded and many stayed after the show for pictures etc.

I'm a Fan!! Blew me away with her Opera song, a definite must see, thanks to Angelo & Juhl for booking us the front row seats. Lani can rival Celine Dion's range, Cher's comedic talents, Madonna's stage presence and Tina turner's legs. Thanks to Vic Esquivel for booking this venue for our CCH-BYU Depedida Reunion 2010. Lani keep up the great show. Go Flips!

Lani is pretty awesome, but be aware of other distractions.During the first 30 minutes I would give the show about a 2/5, it was slow and the songs weren't that great.The Good:Lani is ridiculously amazing. She truly has a great voice. Nice Range and does a lot of good imitations of DIVA singers.The band is decent.The Bad:The Backup singers really aren't that great. They have decent voices. The girl looks like Amy Winehouse and kind of acts a little crazy like her too.The Ugly:2 Major AWFUL things that away from the show.1: They have a photographer that takes 4-5 pictures of you which is quite ridiculous ( no background or anything). Then DURING the show, she comes around with a little flashlight and plastic grocery bags and tries to sell you them. The awful thing is she is rustling these plastic bags during solo songs by Lani w/o the band playing so it completely takes away from the show. Also the photos are pretty awful so she is probably able to sell a lot during the show when the lights are off and you have a dim flashlight. DON'T BUY.2:They have people going around to couples to try and entice them to come listen to a "Timeshare" presentation. ( On a side note, do not talk to them and do not sign up. The company is "Star Points / Geo Holiday" and they are LIARS. They promise you $100 in restaurant vouchers at the Hilton, 1 free night stay and free lunch. What they don't tell you is you have to put down a $20 deposit ( which you get back after the timeshare presentation). Also the free lunch is a big lie ( powdered donuts and coffee). Also the 1 free night stay at the Hilton is contingent that you sit through a second timeshare presentation which they obviously won't tell you about.**If you see Christian who is the guy that will pitch you on this, please sure to call him a liar for me.If you can get past all that, then Lani has a pretty good show and is an amazing singer.
