We met Renee downtown and were pleased to find that we were the only two guests on the tour. Kudos to Vegas Valley for running the tour with such a small group.Renee was so enthused about Downtown Vegas, She was a font of facts and stories about the area, It was delightful to meet someone so passionate about their job. We visited 4 venues and had some nice food. Renee gave us plenty of time to enjoy each dish and have cocktails. My only complaint is Renee, where is our picture? LOLIf we return to Las Vegas we will most certainly book with Vegas Valley again.

I had a great time on this tour. It was such a unique experience and Vicki was obviously a very well versed and knowledgeable tour guide. You not only get to do the tastings, but she also gives you some great background information on DTLV and some of the landmarks. I must say that the thing that I was most impressed with was the relationship that this tour has with the owners. At almost every location we actually got to meet the owner & chat and Vicki was able to tell us about their background and when/why they opened their restaurant. I enjoyed it so much that the next time I came to Vegas, I basically gave my husband the same tour lol. This is definitely the best way to see DTLV and the food was great!!

This tour was fun! We stopped at 6 different places and luckily I have never been to any of them before. Tour guide was nice, accommodating, and very informative. I checked in at each spot and uploaded a pic, but I will also upload them here. First we started at a beef jerked shop and tried their beef jerky and dried okra...yes dried, not fried. I am a fan, and that's impressive considering I am from Louisiana and we normally fry our okra. LOL!Next we hit Cous Cous Cafe which was yum! Definitely will be back. Third stop was Uncle Joes Pizza and they also get the thumbs up...especially for the fried jalapeño ravioli. Fourth and fifth stop were in container park. A vegan spot for cold nachos. Not gross, but wouldn't race back to order again. And then Chillspot for a Popsicle. They were good, but I'm not a big sweets eater, so not really for me. Last we went to Rachel's kitchen for their Peanutbutter Blast (again not big on the sweet stuff) and Signature pasta and Chicken Salad. All were tasty. This tour was fun and informative. I bought a groupon, so the price was awesome too!!!

I used to come to downtown LV when I was a kid but now that I am old enough to gamble I try to avoid LV all together. Lol. I had this trip planned for Marilou D's bachelorette party. Woo hoo! Vegas Valley food tours was one of the planned outings with all the girls. I was more thinking of a sit down thing and they feed us. It's actually a walking tour to different business. We sat down, ate, and got fatter. Getting fat At least the walking was a little exercise. My favorite was Rachel's Kitchen. I love cute little coffee shops. The food was delicious and the owner was so sweet. We walked into local businesses as well and they were awesome. It is a great change compared to the strip. Never knew places like this were in Las Vegas. It's definitely worth it to travel to downtown LV to take this tour.

This is a great food tour. Vicki is a likable, intelligent woman who knows her stuff. The food was delicious and as a local gave us additional restaurants to visit. I would suggest this to both locals and tourists.Susan Rasmussen

A perfect combination of great food and great information about the history of downtown, as well as enjoying a wonderful part of Las Vegas that has nothing to do with alcohol or gambling. Vickie is incredibly knowledgeable, organized and personable, and goes to great effort to support local and small businesses. This is a terrific tour and I highly recommend it!

As a newbie to the valley, I don't know my way around, so this tour -- suggested by visiting relatives! -- was perfect for getting to know Downtown LV AND the food! So fun! Vicki was a great guide. I learned about other tours to other restaurants. Can't wait to try those! I will definitely do it again with future visitors.

We went on this tour yesterday for a friend's birthday. We went on the Arts District tour. We are all Las Vegas natives, but decided to explore the Arts District. Vicky was a great guide, super friendly and informative. Just a heads-up: Go really hungry. I had not eaten lunch, but figured we would get small tastes. Nooo, you are getting full-on food! And sooo good. We visited five restaurants and had a lot of food at each. We ate everything from tacos to coffee to Cornish pasties to pasta to BBQ. And every one fantastic. Highly recommend this tour, even if you are a Las Vegan!
