On August 29, 2024, around 7:30 a.m., I visited Vegas Mart to buy a bag of potato hips. I bought the Salsitas spicy salsa chips, which were priced at $2.99. Unfortunately, the cashier(male) did not provide me with a receipt. I initially thought the receipt was included in the bag, but after checking once I left the store, I realized it was missing. In my previous visits, other cashiers have always given me the either in the bag or directly, and without me asking for a receipt, so this was unusual. Additionally, the chips tasted stale and unpleasant. The bag's best-before date is stamped as 11/21/2024 as shown in my pictures, but the back of the bag indicates a date from 2022. This discrepancy suggests that the chips might have been treated with preservatives or chemicals to extend their shelf life, which affected their bad taste. I can't get the disgusting, rotten potato chip taste out of my mouth, even after brushing my teeth several times and an hour later I feel sick after eating the Salsitas chips. I will not return to this store, as they are selling low-quality, rotten food items. The small amount of $2.99 is insignificant; what matters is the principle. I paid the full price of $2.99 for quality food but received a subpar product instead. Class action attorneys frequently handle cases like this and are particularly interested in such matters. Moreover, the lack of a receipt raises concerns about potential misconduct and possibly employee theft, as it eliminates proof of purchase and could imply the cashier might be misappropriating funds. Overall, I feel I was ripped off by the bad rotten tasting potato chip $2.99 purchase and would appreciate if the store addresses these issues. See attached images below. End.

Great market, good selection of items, particularly for a 24 hour convenience store. They have liquor, beer, packaged foods and sundries. And video gaming! Check our their specials on beer!

I love Vegas Market! This is a great little store that has everything! It's the only market that will offer you a non alcoholic refreshment courtesy of the business when you enjoy playing their gaming machines. They have a great variety of drinks. You can get anything from juice, pop, beer, wine, or even your spirits like rum, or tequila at great prices. The low prices are worth the trip. They have Many great bargains on beers of your choice. Great treats and snacks too!

Back in 2007, I was shopping here to buy stink bombs and Mexican candy and I was met outside by 12-15 black gang members who thought I was some guy named "Lee". Luckily they quickly saw I was not the "Lee" they were looking for and let me drive off. A few months ago I went inside with my sister and saw the store had been remodeled. There is now a bullet-proof case/safety window surrounding the front counter. It's good to see the area has gotten safer. With more gun regulation and cultural diversity, certainly this store will come with its own DHS security patrol/FBI surveillance sub-station by 2018.

Jody, who is a cashier at this market. She let two guys buy alcohols without asking for their ID. And then when I went to go get something, she asked me for my ID. Her reasoning was that I did not look old enough, and that she knew them. That's not how that works and that is really unfair. They pick and choose who to ask for ID.

This store had a sign clearly posting an item's price. The cashier ran up that item along with some others I was purchasing, but before even walking out of the store, I realized I'd been overcharged the item in question and returned to the register to point out the error. The manager acknowledged the item's posted price was incorrect but then refused to accept its return and issue a refund based on their store's no return policy. Acknowledging the mistake, yet expecting the customer to pay for the store's error is unacceptable.
