Vegas Glass Kayaks

Great company. Enjoyed our trip today. Apparently there are some weirdos that are leaving fake reviews about his company over Donald Trump. Sad people have to leave fake reviews. My friends and I booked for next weekend again.

This adventure was so amazing, it was a beautiful kayaking experience, the water was beautiful and green, this experience is one that my husband and I will never forget!!

just did this tour on 07/09/21 and had a great time! shocked to see alot of bad reviews on here.only confusion was after you pay online, you have to call and schedule a picked up location. luckily the night before someone called me back and then we were able to do a time. whew because we sure did not rent a car. the driver was really pleasant and talkative we liked him alot. he made seem like the drive wasnt that far away since made conversation. the tour guide was really informative and geez the story about the killer in the cave is gonna stay in my mind! lol. what was really cool was that they packed mini champagne bottles because it was our wedding anniversary. so sweet!!! this is the only tour i found where they had GLASS kayaks! and its more roomy than the others. i think i would felt more claustrophic in the regular ones! i also seen reviews about higher price but this included a pick up AND drop off at our hotel on the trip. also they included drinks on tour and on way home.

5-29-22 This was a birthday trip for a party of 4. Looking forward to see through the glass bottom kayaks and to find a little beach to enjoy a bomb Fire and lunch but our 4 hour tour ended up being a 2 hour tour. We got there 15 mins prior to our designated time. No signs showing where we were supposed to meet. There's no phone reception so trying to call Danny to figure out where we should meet was difficult. Then, he tells us his wife is up there in a bright green shirt on a pontoon. As we walked up and down the parking lot, I'd seen a lady on a pontoon but she was drinking so I didn't think it was part of the kayak tour. When we finally get to the lady, Christy, she told us Danny was running late. 2 hours later, our tour guide Christy hands us our life jackets that we thought for a quick second were soaked in beer, but it wasn't the life jackets wreaking in beer. To cut this crazy long story short, they are overly expensive for the quality of service they give. We do not appreciate the lack of attention to safety and the the additional issues We encountered at the dock. Don't book with VEGAS GLASS KAYAKS. Find someone else.

We recently took a trip to Vegas and wanted to get outside of the usual strip shenanigans. We hooked up with Vegas Glass Kayaks and had an amazing day on the Colorado! My girlfriend and I rented a tandem glass bottomed kayak and went two miles upstream from Willow beach through the stunning red rock canyons carved out by this beautiful river. Our destination was a cave we could paddle inside and admire the sun's emerald glow on the shimmering waters.Our guide Christie was wonderful and it's clear that she absolutely loves what she does. She shared historical lore, pointed out plants and wildlife and also gave us plenty of time to ourselves to take in the majestic views.VGK keeps their groups small so you have a more intimate experience. In our case we happened to be the only ones with our guide so we could ask all the questions we wanted :) They also provided a delicious lunch prepared from a local Deli.I have personally recreated in the nearby area several times on camping and hiking trips and have yet to get on the water. I am very happy I did and I would highly recommend these guides to anyone wanting to have a float day, to both locals and visitors!

We had a great time on the Emerald tour, and overall I would recommend this... with some suggestions. Whit picked us up from our hotel (Mandalay Bay). We were told to meet at the rideshare pickup area. At this hotel, the rideshare pickup area is a completely different spot than the main entrance where taxis drop off. This miscommunication led to 30 minutes of us looking for the driver, while he was also searching for us. I kept calling the main number for half an hour but no one was picking up. Once we found Whit, all was well, and Whit was so lovely, we couldn't be mad. SUGGESTION FOR CUSTOMERS: make sure you're clear on the pickup location. SUGGESTION FOR VGK: Give the pickup driver contact numbers for all the clients he's picking up. All the confusion could have been easily avoided if the driver had my number. Our guide, Jared, was friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to point out local wildlife. He let us go at our own pace and never rushed us. He brought plenty of chilled water and Gatorade for everyone. Some water toys were also provided so we could shoot water at each other. The kayaks are really cool. They're wider than standard kayaks so they're more stable and more comfortable. Dry bags are provided so you can put all your stuff in there. The sandwiches provided for lunch were yummy, served with chips, fresh fruit, cookie, and capri sun. It was SUPER hot when we went, but just dumping some of the river water over your head helps tremendously. DO BRING A HAT, AND DEFINITELY BRING SUNSCREEN.

Made reservations 2 weeks in advance and spoke with Danny about accomodating our 2 small dogs. We made reservation for 06/13 at 10am, then received a text message that informed me that they were canceling our reservation only 26hrs before reservation and did not give a clear reason. I had already made accommodations at Willow Beach campsite. Said they would be in touch regarding a refund. I never received follow up or refund. I emailed Danny regarding the refund and still never heard back, now a week later still nothing.After reading past reviews I found similar experiences of last minute cancelations with vague reasoning and no refunds. Seems like a pattern that they accept reservations with full payment, cancel last minute, and don't refund your money.

I wouldn't even give them one star. Took our money and canceled because it was windy. We were never able to rebook or get our money back. STAY AWAY from this company!!!

Guy kept pushing our allotted time back which went from 6 to 3, no compensation for not getting our full time. an hour before we're to arrive they can't find the kayaks, kept making excuses, wanted us to move our day to the day we left which we stayed couldn't be done. I paid 300 to these scammers for nothing
