Quality/Quantity - Not sure if this was part of the Circus Circus brand when they first opened...? Built to attract families, this was a very short fad. The casinos quickly realized there was more $$ NOT with families.Known for their pirate theme, free shows, etc.2885 rooms.48k square feet.See website for dining and entertainment options. We did hang out at Gilley's Saloon one evening, see other review.Senor Frogs is also popular, but not as popular as the ones in Mexico!Atmosphere - Known for the free parking, thank you. BTW, one of your parking security/attendant employee took his job a little too seriously, lol. He made my day by quizzing me on my parking intentions.Service - Good. Mostly self service.Price - Depends on what you do, buy, eat, or drink. Well, more importantly, if you win or not when gambling, lol.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1993.2003 - Pirate theme scaled back to focus on a more "mature" customer.2012 - Last year for the private shows.

Paid for a room with a view of the strip, and instead my room window is covered in cirque du Soleil advertisement. That was annoying, but what has annoyed me far worse was finding that they have removed the ability to change inputs from the TV--despite there being buttons and inputs on the TV for that purpose. I called the desk, certain they would offer a different remote, or a method to revert the TV to standard settings, but they were of no help. If I stay at a Hampton Inn in the boonies I can relax with my Nintendo Switch or other hdmi devices at night. But not here. Somewhat unacceptable. Also no coffee maker in room, which is a very basic, timeless amenity.

Treasure Island is one of the few places that offers free parking. That means more slot money for me. TI is also located in a area close to other fan favorite casinos a short walk away. Its a fun place to hang out and waste your money. There are a few fun places to eat and a small food court. There is a shoe shine guy near the bathrooms. He charges $15.00 and doesva great job. He starts around 4:00pm.The pirate ship is still there. The show is long gone as is the mexican bar that used to be there. At night time the old ship makes for great photo opportunities. My next trip I plan on staying here. From what I hear resort fees are optional. Rates start at about $79.00 midweek.

Stayed here for the Las Vegas gift show. It's very convenient for the shuttle pick up and drop off. Being in the other side of the strip helps with the commute. I really didn't like any of the restaurants inside the Casino. The did have a Starbucks but a latte that normally cost $5 is $8 there. The rooms were ok nothing special. Check in/out was easy and convenient. Would recommend if you want to stay closer to the Workd market.

I liked staying here, the room was very clean and quiet. The hotel doesn't charge for parking which is very nice! They waived the $50.00 each per night resort fee because we were not interested at all about using the gym or stronger internet. That was a huge plus in my book! I can't stand that resort fee!!!!The restaurants were decent and it was not so crowded so it was easy to get a slot machine. We also had a nice view!! The price was like $130.00 a night which was so reasonable!! I would stay there again!

DO NOT STAY HERE! I am compelled to share an appalling experience I recently had at the TJ Hotel, an encounter that left me shocked, disheartened, and furious. It is essential for everyone to know what happened so that you can make informed decisions about where to stay in the future. While staying at the TJ Hotel, I found myself in a situation that required nothing more than a simple gesture of human decency--access to hot water. My daughter was unwell, and I had purchased Theraflu for her. However, the medication requires hot water near boiling point to be effective. To my dismay, I discovered that my hotel room lacked both a coffee maker and a kettle.I called the front desk, explaining the situation, and was advised to visit the Golden Circle bar for assistance. Following their guidance, I went to the bar, only to be met with blatant rudeness. The bartender, an individual of Asian descent, outright dismissed me, saying there was no hot water available and rudely directed me to the Breeze bar instead. At the Breeze bar, I was informed that hot water would cost me $4.75--the price of a coffee. Despite explaining that I didn't want coffee and only needed hot water for my sick child, they refused to show any compassion. I offered to pay a reasonable amount for the cup and water but was told, in no uncertain terms, that unless I paid the full coffee price, I would not get any water. The bartender then turned away and continued with other tasks, leaving me standing there humiliated.Frustrated, I returned to the front desk to seek help. While the staff were sympathetic, they claimed they had no authority over the bars and restaurants, as they were independently operated. They called the hotel manager, who listened attentively but admitted that her hands were tied. She told me to wait until the FBM arrive and promised to escalate the matter to the Food and Beverage Manager but warned me not to expect much. After waiting another 20 minutes, the Food and Beverage Manager finally arrived. I explained the situation once more, hoping for a reasonable resolution. Instead, I was met with a smirk and a condescending response: they were simply "following policy." When I offered to bring the medication down to demonstrate my need, the manager reiterated that unless I paid, there would be no water.I make a quick remark here front of the FBM and Hotel Manager mentioned I paid not just for my hotel room but resorts fees and use a handful cash to play and when you use such an amount you can't get a hot water for free?I left the encounter outraged, humiliated, and determined not to give in to such exploitation. Instead, I was planning order an Uber and ride to a nearby gas station, where I rather pay for hot water without the indignity or lack of humanity I experienced at TJ.What makes this experience even more disturbing is the broader implication for TJ Hotel's reputation. This situation reflects poorly on a brand that prides itself on luxury and customer service. Charging a guest nearly $5 for a cup of hot water--especially for a sick child--is not only exploitative but deeply unethical. To make matters worse, I decided to walked across the street to the Venetian Hotel, where I recounted my ordeal. The staff there were shocked by what had happened, and they immediately provided me with hot water--free of charge--and even offered additional assistance if needed. Their kindness and professionalism were in stark contrast to the greed and lack of empathy displayed at TJ.This ordeal has not only tarnished my view of TJ Hotel but has also solidified my decision to never stay there again. I will make it my mission to ensure this experience is shared widely across social media platforms so that others can learn from my experience and avoid such humiliation. To the management of TJ Hotel: I urge you to reflect on this incident. A company's reputation is built on its treatment of customers, and this experience has undoubtedly damaged yours. I hope this serves as a wake-up call to reconsider your policies and prioritize humanity over profit.

They need more help for check in!We waited over 3 hours to check in and there excuse was because they were low in staff. If there is over 50 people in line, they need to call staff in. And what others were saying, this is normal for treasure island. I will never stay here again. This place needs to go

This is one of the older properties on the strip having opened in 1993. Prime location and the room prices fluctuate accordingly and can reach eye-popping levels, but hey location is everything. Rooms are clean and adequate despite being slightly dated. The casino itself is really nothing to write home about and feels dark cramped and a bit suffocating. There's a 24-hour CVS connected to the casino and a huge Starbucks out front. They used to have a mediocre marvel avengers exhibit but that closed at the beginning of 2024. This place could really use modernization and renovation. The fitness center which is located in the spa has really restrictive hours: opens at 6:00 a.m. but closes as early as 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. on busier days (I guess they want you outside to gamble and eat). But the location is excellent and the parking is free.

Your budget friendly hotel on the Las Vegas strip. There is an odor on the main level and other floor hallways that can be strong at times. The room didn't have the odor and had plenty of space for 1 or 2 people. For a $40-$50 you can even check in a few hours early. It has a big pirate ship out front to go with the theme but didn't really feel the theme on the inside.

I knew when I made my reservation that I was going middle ground here. You can do better but you could do worse. We had been planning this trip to Vegas for 12 years for my son's 21st birthday. Yes he knew when he was 9 that he wanted to turn 21 in Vegas. So I made it happen. I picked Treasure Island because of location on the strip, free parking garage for its guests, and price. Here are my positives and negatives on our experience:Positives= Easy fast check in at the kiosk. There is a CVS inside the hotel. We went there to buy our pre game alcohol before we went to our room. Our room overall was decent and clean. The shower head was basic but the pressure was good, large shower. The fridge stayed cold and didn't make noise. The sheets were clean on the beds. Negatives= The elevator system is confusing and dirty. People writing their names with their fingers in the grease, so gross. The ice machine and soda machine on our floor did not work. The strip view we were supposed to have on our 25th floor room was obstructed by an advertisement screen on the side of the building. They only provided one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner. For 3 of us, staying 4 days, we ran out fast. The free lotion made my daughter swell in her hands and legs. There was a $50/day resort fee for what I am not sure. They don't service your room unless you call and ask. And when we did for towels, it was very awkward. Overall it's ok. Didn't really care to see the guy dying on the floor when we first got there. Medics were performing CPR but that's not the hotels problem it's a Vegas problem. If you are looking for an average room at average price, book here.
