Chef Travis you are the man!! Let me just say that I have NEVER eaten a medium steak before!! It's either well done or it isn't going in my mouth period. Well, this past Sunday was the 1st time I've eaten a medium steak and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was super moist with a nice crust and, the lemon vinaigrette you topped it off with was heaven bro!! Let's not forget those fluffy garlic red potatoes and flavorful spinach. Definitely a meal to remember. Thanks for coming into our home and preparing a fantastic meal worthy of five stars. Looking forward to the next time.

The food was awesome and soulful!!Thank Chef Travis for providing excellent service, food & incredible experience of having our own chef preparing our dinner at the home. Chef Travis was the highlight of my fiance's 30th birthday weekend in Killington, VT. I surprised my fiance by bringing in Chef Travis as a private chef for our party of 22 people and I am STILL hearing raving reviews from friends on how incredible the experience was. Chef Travis worked with me for months to curate a special menu, went out of his way to help get that menu printed, and most importantly, cooked us an incredible meal. Everything was spectacular, professional, and delicious. Chef Travis, we cannot wait to work with you again!

Chef Travis Pena owner of Traveling Chef has been gaining a reputation as the "Celebrity Chef" of food innovation, and I do not doubt that for a minute. I have had the opportunity to witness it myself and got the chance to cook with Traveling Chef, even kept some secrets of his for my own cooking experience at home. I too, love cooking! It has been one of my amazing experiences to witness and indulge. This so called food revolution happening in the West Coast of Vegas Nevada and many other places that Traveling Chef has grown and shared his love for cooking is definitely something you want to witness yourself. For those of you searching for a culinary experience like no other, look no further than Traveling Chef by Chef Travis Pena. I had no doubt in my mind that Traveling Chef was an amazing mind blowing chef. The experience I encountered was phenomenal and over the top, I had to share my experience. His professionalism, mannerism, pose, confidant personality and his level of skill had me wanting more upscale fine dining all the time. Everything from breakfast, to a grill cheese challenge, to an exquisite fine dining to even a beautiful delicious appetizer was the utmost dynamic experience of a life time. Chef Travis always arrives on time and does his job beyond well. He loves to please his customers and put on a show for his audience. He started out with Sweet strawberries that was glazed with sugar tossed with basil and placed on top of a toasted sourdough smeared with Mascarpone cheese which has now became one of my favorites. It was heaven! (The Fine Dining experience)As we were all interacting and having a good time, the food was plated and ready to eat. Have you ever had a steak and said "this steak is the bomb.com?" Well I know I have said that before but to be honest I never knew what I was talking about until I had Traveling Chef's steak. It was definitely the moment of "the bomb.com" and "Lord help me, this is what I have been waiting for." The steak was cooked at Medium temperature completely through, when you eat the steak it melts literally in your mouth. You can taste a nutty buttery taste along with the seasonings of the steak. I mean it was something I never tasted before. The different emotions of this steak was non stop in my mind. I mean who can get crazy over food right? well I did!!! lol The crab mashed potatoes was something I never experienced or heard of, and they were the best I ever had, something different and definitely something I wanted again and again! Lastly, was the roasted Brussels sprouts which I hated but wanted to try them again but roasted and I fell in love with Brussels Sprouts! "What?" Me in love with Brussels Sprouts, I could not believe it!!! I learned a few things or two regarding the preparation and cooking of Brussels sprouts and now I am making them at home for my family. Hands down, Traveling Chef is the best chef ever in the world so far!!!I definitely will hire Traveling Chef for all my future events and I promise you will not be disappointed. I would love to be selfish and keep Traveling Chef to myself, the gift and works of Traveling Chef is too good to stay hidden. There is no doubt in my mind that Traveling Chef will be the Ultimate Billionaire Chef in the Country. May God continue to bless you Travis, continue to abundantly grace you with favor and continue to build and grow your Traveling Chef! And I cannot wait to witness the explosion of "Traveling Chef!" xoxo

Our experience with traveling chef was over the top excellent. We hired the Traveling Chef for a week during our stay in St Augustine. Being foodies and traveling extensively, our expectations are very high and they were consistently exceeded. The variety of the menu, the exceptional presentation, and the quality of the food were all as one would expect of a high end restaurant all in the comfort of our vacation home. Our chef was extremely accommodating to requests and brought a level of creativity to the menu that made each meal a delight. We will definitely be using Traveling Chef again and I will be looking for ways to engage them at company events as well.Definitely a thumbs up on all accounts.

My MIL had Chef Travis make a few of us dinner while we were visiting. I give 5 stars because the food was amazing. All the dishes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. My stand out fav was the filet mignon. Mastros is one of my husband's favorite restaurants however we are now jaded because Chef Travis cooked the filet so perfect and tender Im not sure we'll be able to enjoy our usual dishes elsewhere. We were also able to experience his breakfast and it was beyond a crowd pleaser. Coming from a mom of picky eaters, he was able to not only have the adults asking for more. I would recommend the Traveling Chef if you are looking for amazing food and experience.

The word exquisite does not even compare to the dynamic experience my husband and I shared at Chef Travis' group cooking lesson and private group dining experience at Sky Life Manor last Saturday. As my husband and I pulled up to this grand mansion we knew we were in for a treat. Not knowing what to expect from a planned night of fine dining by a highly acclaimed chef with a cooking class to boot we were geeked to explore what was next. We were greeted with with a glass of cabernet to start where we mingled with the group and got to know our cooking class mates. We spoke with Chef from the start who shared the menu and got us salivating for the appetizers we were about to start making. Each couple present, there were four of us, had a station with tools equipped for a top chef. Chef's easy going demeanor and winning personality could put even the shyest participant at ease. His easy to follow steps were a breeze and he showed us how to elevate the simplest ingredients into some quite superb appetizers. Sugar-glazed, glistening strawberries tossed with semi-dried basil perched gently on top of a butter toasted sourdough slice schmeared with my favorite mascarpone cheese. Pure heaven! Our second app that we made was a mushroom and onion tarte set off by a perfect combo of cream and butter of course - super easy to make and truly a star of the night. What I appreciated most about this combo cooking class and fine dining experience was that we got to participate but it didn't dominate the whole experience. We also got the honor, and it truly was, to have Chef Travis cook a Michelin 3 star equivalent meal for us. And that was the best treat of all. The suspense in being teased by his expertise as he showed us how to make apps, gave us a wealth of knowledge on cooking, and then showed us how he was preparing dinner had us on the edge of our seats literally. My husband and I chose the steak entree which Chef Travis sous vide. The other choices included salmon and roasted chicken. For those who don't know I learned "sous vide" means under vacuum. Knowledge, boom!. We got to see the fine contraption that apparently had been slowly cooking our new york strips to perfection for five hours. I felt really special and then sad for that steak that had been working for me for five hours -little did it know it didn't stand a chance on my plate. While the food was cooking we got to mingle a bit more with the group which was fun. We also got a grand tour of the Sky Life Manor estate which is quite impressive. With modern furnishings and conveniences abound, sleeping over 14 people, on beautiful grounds with a wonderful view of the valley. I can't wait to return. My husband and I will probably arrange for something special there over our anniversary and I can see future large family gatherings there or small group dinners with friends in the near/immediate future. With the tour we really got an opportunity to visit with the Skylife Manor hosts Nikki, Jasmine and Suki. They were such a joy to work with. Pleasant, accommodating, really passionate about making sure each guest had everything they needed and had a good time. They shared their vision for the space and welcoming community focused initiatives - even cooking classes with kids will be offered there. I am really excited for Sky Life Manor's future offerings. The hosts again were very sweet and paid careful attention to the line of being available but allowing guests to have the right amount of privacy and autonomy in the space. Not too long after our tour was complete and voila! - food heaven had arrived. We all were seated in a very modern dining area and we were served. We had steak with a red wine demi-glace, perfectly cooked asparagus and mashed potatoes. With my first bite I felt like God was smiling down on us as saying, "Yes my child, this is what heaven tastes like". We finished the meal with a cherry tarte - also superb. And I am not generally a fan of baked fruit but boy did this dessert convince me otherwise. During our meal, Chef Travis came out and greeted us. He told us a bit about the preparation and really made the meal special. My husband and I, both self-proclaimed sommeliers, foodies, and lovers of experiences of every kind were truly impressed by our experience from start to finish. And we CAN-NOT wait to try it again.
