Usually I only get food to go but decided to grab a drink last night and I'm glad I did. Steven, the bartender, was great company. He was easy to talk to and it seemed like he knew a little bit about everything. I didn't get any food this time but I'll be back for the Fish N Chips next time.

This is my second time coming here. I've only ever come for food/drinks. The cocktail selection is pretty standard with some classics and some Timber's signature cocktails. The food menu is entirely American: country style breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches & wraps, and standard appetizers. My first time going in was during the outside renovations a few months ago. I'm glad to see they've finished and the restaurant exterior is spruced up. The food was decent from what I remember, no issues but definitely nothing memorable. Today I came in and ordered a Timber's Tea and a Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast. Portions are enormous, definitely a steal for the price. Most meals are in the $9-15 range. They also often have BOGO or raffle deals. From todays meal: eggs were average, potatoes came with peppers (yum) but were a little soft for my liking, the steak was tender and delicious, but it came with less gravy than I'd anticipated. The service is always good. I will say, it does get packed and food service is slow depending on the time. I came in about 3:30-4pm on a Friday and spent a little while waiting for food. The staff is very friendly and attentive.I will be back. The food is average, but the prices and hours are worth it.

Seasoned fries are good and the service is consistent.... Usually the ambiance is relaxed and they always play the games on the big TV's. Cool local spot to have a drink

Just moved to the area and wanted to try a local bar. Before even getting in ringing the buzzer the lady screams and says she hears us. Another group of guys expedited this as well. She leaves and goes into the bathroom and the server walked by us not even stop to let us know where the bartender went. The bartender came back out and she still has a horrible attitude. We decided to get up and leave . Never coming back

I had eaten at this Timbers off and on for years and never got around to reviewing it. In general, the bar food was decent bar food. This review though, is specifically regarding why I have thoroughly enjoyed my recent visits in 2021 and why this has become my "go-to" local bar. So, my wifey is still a little COVID-19 scared. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and feelings on the pandemic and the purpose of this review is not to judge anyone. It has affected everyone differently. My fear vastly differed from my wife as I work as a first responder and have already been vaccinated. I say all this because it has taken me almost a year to get my wife back in a bar. I was finally able to on my birthday, February 17, 2021. I talked her into going to this Timbers as the last decently poured Guinness I had before the pandemic was poured here and she was essentially guilted into going due to it being my birthday. When we walked in, she was surprised and gladdened by the elaborate COVID-19 precautions in the bar. Each machine at the bar was freshly cleaned with a sign indicating so, they were cordoned off from one another by large clear plastic barriers and every table was spread out. As she became more comfortable she watched as the bartenders quickly cleaned each station every time someone moved. It far exceeded her cleanly expectations. On that visit she had the chicken club wrap with sweet potato fries which has become her new favorite and she has had the same meal the four times we have visited since. I have also switched to that wrap because it is "semi-healthy" bar food and quite yummy. Each time I have an new bartender I ask them how well they pour Guinness. None of them have taken it rudely and have all tried their best to pour their best. I, being a Guinness snob, have searched far and wide for well poured Guinness in the Las Vegas valley. This simple, local Timbers pours a better Guinness then most Irish Pubs in Las Vegas. Additionally, the local crowds who frequent this bar are super chill and there has never been any sort of drama which can plague other bars. All the bartenders have been super friendly and attentive. The machines don't crush your hopes and dreams when you play and the experience here has been everything we had hoped for in a local bar. In summary, if you live in the area and are looking for a new pub to call home, this is your place.

I'm so glad we found this hidden gem! During times like these it is a little scary to find a place you can have your drinks; and some bar food; but we found it! You don't need a reservation, but you do need a mask! Timbers was a breathe of fresh air! The entire restaurant is as safe as can be with social distancing, the staff was friendly as soon as we walked in, our server was fast, and quick, and the food was fresh! You can't ask for much more! We were even impressed, they knew some of the customer's names that were coming in! A real local's place!! We were really craving bar food, so we got chicken fingers and chicken wings, subbed one platter for sweet potato fries; and got drinks! The price we paid for the food was extremely worth it, the drinks were on happy hour, and phenomenal, and the ambiance was great for a Friday night! If you have a night where you need a drink, and some appetizers/dinner, COME TO TIMBERS! You will not regret it!! We'll be back Timbers! Those huge chicken fingers were amazing! The food was tasty, seasoned perfectly, the Buffalo sauce was perfect on the food, not drenched; or dry! I'll be back for more happy hour, wings, and fingers!

Won't be coming back. Allow customers toMake a scene and disturbance and when you step in and agree the customer needed to leave, other bartender was disrespectful and told me to stay out of it. Instead of asking customer to leave. Had toMove seats. Don't feel comfortable listening to arguing, esp coming from a customer who apparently throws bottles at a workers head. Unprofessional and terrible experience tonight while trying to enjoy one glass of wine.Mind you I am industry, and I will step in and defend myself and move seats if a customer is known to be abusive and aggressive. Don't let your bartenders disrespect other customers. Ruined the environment and terrible service. I don't care how much a disrespectful disturbing customer spends. Don't subject your future customers to bulls*** and danger. Period. Worked in locals bars plenty and we 86 those we have to, even top spenders. But even asking someone to leave out of respect for other safety is mandatory. Won't be back. Second time in this week & shit, weird service. Bartender with glasses was fine. She should be protected and defended.Shit talked me for defending myself. You as bartenders put the customer in danger fromAnother customer and then talk crapTo your other customers and tellMe to stay out of it? After listening to you guys argue with an abusive customer who may start being dangerous? No thank you. Unacceptable. Being industry I will protect myself. Protect your customers.Make people leave if they are abusive and causing a disturbance. Arguing back and forth behind the bar is where you guys went wrong. Don't make a customer step in and defend themselves. Last time I come to this bar. I work on the strip and deal with far more, much faster and simpler. These bartenders don't know how to handlePeople or protect their customers, first off do that in private. So someone else doesn't step in. Then made me feel uncomfortable. Discuss this stuff in the back, make sure your bartenders protect one another. Not a place to relax or unwind, you will be bothered or feel unsafe. Or just dealt with unprofessionally. Bartender Lauren needs to learn people management skills and how to back up your fellow employees behind the scenes. Never put the customer on the defense. Ridiculous. Ruined my night, right after getting off work. Just glad I didn't get a beer bottle thrown at my head! Or thrown out by Lauren because I wanted to protect myself sitting right next to a lunatic.Go to Steiners or distill. Do yourself a favor.Couldn't even get food because of all of that bull*** and had to chug my wine, move seats and close out. Just because I'm an unfamiliar face doesn't mean I deserve any less service. Just moved a block away to the area and like I said. Will not be back
