I've been to this restaurant many times, and I've never been disappointed. The egg white fried spring rolls are absolutely delicious, and their pineapple BBQ pork buns are flavorful with a perfectly crispy crust. This time, the beef in the brisket lo mein was a bit too tough, but the flavor of the noodles was still fantastic. The fried shrimp balls were a bit oily, but they were still tasty. The rice noodle rolls with beef had thicker noodles than usual, but the flavor was still great. The fried chicken wings were well-seasoned and super juicy. Their braised chicken feet are unique and incredibly flavorful. The osmanthus jelly truly captures the essence of osmanthus, and the Malay cake (Ma Lai Gao) is always a favorite of mine. I'll definitely keep coming back to this restaurant!

Tim Ho Wan is located inside the Palms. I came here on a Monday night with my Husband without a reservation and there was no wait!Food: We are hige foodies so we ordered alot of what the waiter recommended for us. My faovrite were the BBQ pork buns, they had a nice mix of sweet and savory with great texture as you bite in. The buns had a crackle sugar top as well which made the taste even more enhanced! 10/10 recommend!Price: very reaonably priced for all the dishes. This will range based on which category you are ordering from, but based on what we ordered, expect to pay between $8-15 for a dish!Service: amazing service. Our waiter made our experience so fun with all of his recommndations for the dishes that were the most popular. I would always ask the stuff for their favorites before ordering my own.Ambiance: Restaurant had plenty of seating and as you walk through you get a sense of a traditional chinese ancient feel. When you look around you can see how much detail was put into the decor from nature paintings and some gols accents all around.Overall, i recommend i will come back!

We knocked off another Las Vegas bookmark by eating at Tim Ho Wan in The Palms Resort on W Flamingo Road. Tim Ho Wan Las Vegas opened in late 2019, slightly over a year after their Waikīkī opening. After reading many stellar reviews from fellow Yelp Friends over the years, we made our way off-Strip to eat here to celebrate the 2025 Lunar New Year. The Lunar New Year celebrations last 15 days, so my Chinese food-loving husband encouraged eating at Tim Ho Wan since we were within the "window" of the 2025 (January 29 - February 4) festivities.Instead of making reservations, we walked into this busy restaurant and were greeted by two cheery hostesses. One of the hostesses seated us at the smaller dining room on the right of the entrance, and immediately, a lovely server, Teodora, came by to offer us hot tea of our choice and glasses of water. She also offered us a beverage menu featuring cocktails since we were facing a full bar, but it was too early for us to start drinking alcohol. However, we joked about the saying, "It's afternoon somewhere in the world." Before delivering a teapot full of hot jasmine tea, Teodora explained the placemat menu, Chef's Specialties, and Lunar New Year menus. Teodora guessed we were from Hawai'i (by our Hawaiian accents) and mentioned she had moved from Kaua'i to Las Vegas years ago.To celebrate the Lunar New Year, we ordered a variety of Tim Ho Wan's top-quality and flavorful dim sum dishes, which symbolize aspects of life such as health, happiness, wealth (financial and spiritual), love, and family, from their daily menu and Specialties menu. FOOD:- Abalone Siu Mai (鮑魚鮮蝦燒賣皇): these abalone topped pork dumplings were decadently delicious, juicy, and tender. Their golden-colored abalone, succulent pork, and dumpling shape all harmonized. SYMBOLIZES: Good Fortune. $38.88- Pan-fried Turnip Cake (Lo Bak Go 香煎臘味蘿蔔糕): these pan-fried savory cakes are made from white daikon radish, not turnips. Although available year-round, THW's version had dried shrimp and bits of Chinese sausage. Unlike most dim sum houses, you could see the large radish grate or chunk suspended in the pillowy flour batter. The pan-fry enhanced the texture, aroma, and flavors. SYMBOLIZES: Good Fortune or Good Omens. $7.95- Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp & Chives (鮮蝦韮菜餃): the wrappers for these steamed dumplings were nearly transparent and unbelievably sheer while holding in the shrimp and chive filling. The dumplings did not burst while transferring from the steamer basket to the plate shortly after delivery to our table. Shrimp symbolize happiness, and the dumpling's shape looks like that of a Chinese silver ingot. SYMBOLIZES: Happiness and Longevity $7.95 - Spicy Pork Dumplings (红油抄手): eating these pork dumplings, AKA wontons in THW's spicy sauce, was a much different and more flavorful version than what we've tasted at the Taiwanese dim sum house on The Strip (Din Tai Fung). We saved the spicy sauce to dip with the other dim sum dishes. Oh boy, we wanted more of these spicy dumplings and wishes since we were in Las Vegas casinos for 4 days straight and only taking breaks for food and beverages. SYMBOLIZES: Wealth, Strength, and Prosperity. $8.50- Steamed Shortribs Black Pepper Sauce (黑椒蒸牛仔骨): steamed short ribs? Wait, what? We've eaten Chinese steamed beef meatballs before, but not short ribs. This dish didn't disappoint as the shortribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and its aromatic and flavorful earthy, spicy, garlicky-black pepper sauce made our mouths water for more. However, in Chinese culture, eating beef isn't looked upon favorably, as the cow is considered a sacred animal. However, I'll take the Western cultural symbols for abundance, wealth, or status. $15.95- Lava Custard Sesame Balls (流沙奶皇煎堆): these deep-fried custard-filled round sticky rice balls symbolize family unity or togetherness to us. The fried sticky rice dough wasn't thick and overly chewy. Instead, the dough was crisp and evenly thin. Be careful when biting into this dessert; the hot egg custard filling might squirt you. SYMBOLIZES: Family Togetherness $7.50- Jasmine Tea: we chose the floral jasmine tea to pair with our dim sum. Jasmine tea usually pairs better with more doughy or bread-like preparations, such as buns, which we didn't order. However, it is suitable for digestion. Oolong was another choice and probably would have been better to pair with the more savory dim sum dishes that we ordered. $5.00Teodora's attentiveness and friendliness added to our dining experience. She paced the delivery of our dim sum dishes since we were seated at a tabletop for two or a smallish table. The prices aligned with Tim Ho Wan's high standards for food quality, flavors, textures, presentation, and dining experience. We'd gladly return for more but if not, we're happy to eat at Tim Ho Wan Waikīkī until we come back to Las Vegas.

A dimsum specialist restaurant located in the Palms. We walked in on Saturday and it was fairly empty. I thought the food here was better than many other dimsum places that I've had back in LA. Prices were fair for a higher end spot especially in Vegas. Some notable foods that are worth trying are these.Xiu Mai - These were packed also had a lot of flavor. A classic and this place does it right. (5/5)Ha Gao - Packed with shrimp and perfectly cooked. Delicious. (5/5)Pork Spare Rib - Flavor was on point and it was tender. (4.5/5)Bbq Pork Bun - Had the perfect balance of flavors and overall just delicious.(5/5)Some things to note is that the chicken feet aren't good here and IMO could be skipped. In total for 5 people we spent $150 and left full. They accept hotel credit so we were able to use all our credits to pay off the full bill. Worth trying out!

We've been back several times and the food is always consistently good. The ambiance is modern and comfortable with high ceilings. Service is attentive with empty dishes constantly removed and tea refilled.Business is good even on a weekday. We arrived at 11:30 and the restaurant was already at least 80% full. My favorites this time were the Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp and Chives and their signature Baked BBQ Pork Buns. Other dishes like Steamed Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Rice Rolls with Minced Beef, and Steamed Bean Curd with Shrimp, Meat, and Vegetables were all delicious as well. This is a solid Hong Kong style dim sum spot. It's a branch of a one Michelin star restaurant in Hong Kong famous for having good dim sum nut reasonable prices (because they operate in low rent neighborhoods).

A fancy dim sum restaurant inside The Palms restaurant. You can make a reservation online if you want but we walked in and we got seated right away on a Saturday night. They have a wide open space with tables and booths as well. Parking - park near the Brenden Theater sign outside so you can easily find it. There is an outdoor and structured building to park.Service - not so impressive. We ordered about 15 items which was about $296 and not even a one time check on us.Food - Ordered about 15 items, check out the pictures I uploaded. They were ok . What you would expect of a regular dimsum. They do have this short rib with daikon and shrimps that stood out from the rest of the orders.

Came back here for a day before NYE, bypassing some of our dim sum go to's for a more "elevated" dim sum experience. Was just a poor experience all around and food not up to par for a Michelin Star restaurant, not even better than our go to "regular" places. Abalone was $50 for two tiny pieces. Sesame balls were half filled with oil pouring out onto our hands as we took bites, and 20% of the items we marked never made it to our table. So after 30 mins of waiting we told them to cancel those items and give us the check. Which incidentally was over $150 for a very mid late lunch experience. Water was some of the worst tasting tap water to top it off.XO noodle rolls and cucumber salad were the best items. Sorry but can't return after an experience like this with so many other great options around. Was actually an experience worthy of 2 stars, but I'll give it 3 for the food. Take the Michelin Star away please.

Best dim sum in Vegas! It's located in Palms Casino. Service is fast. There's usually a wait so I would definitely line up before they open if you want to have an early breakfast. Pricing is fair and the food was really good. It tasted fresh and high quality. Love their shu mai, spicy wonton and shrimp eggplant. We always come here when visiting Vegas.

Food 4/5Everything was fresh and served hot. Most of them tasted similar to HK quality. Service: it's more like a high end place compare to typical dim sum restaurant in the states. Polite and attentive. Won't be rushing your order. Ambiance: it's inside a casino but the decoration gives a different atmosphere. Free parking offered by the casino. Will return.
