After the museum tour, we checked out the speakeasy bar. Located in the basement of the museum and next to the distillery. When walking down from the Museum tour, there's a lot of cool signage and memorabilia of the prohibition-era leading you to the speakeasy. Alternatively, there is a second outside entrance on the east side of the building. Look for a staircase going down, you'll find a door at the bottom, you'll either knock or ring the bell and the doorman will open a small sliding window requesting the password (you can find on the website). You don't have to go to the museum to gain access to the bar. It was busy, but we were able to quickly get a table. They have a great menu of shareable foods and alcohol offerings. They have fun prohibition-era craft cocktails. We ordered the Moonshine tasting flight, the Huckleberry Hideout was my fav. Their Moonshine is unique and very strong, made in house! You can buy their Moonshine to take home too. The vibes were lively and the bar was very well decorated with prohibition-era decor. It's dark and moody, but fun. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, a really solid time! Definitely suggest checking this spot out!

Did you know that there is a Speakeasy under The Mob Museum? Now you know! You're welcome! First of all, if you're trying to find the entrance from the outside, you won't find it easily. There isn't any sign of it anywhere. On the east side of the building, there is a small staircase going down. Again it has nothing on it, or on the wall or anywhere else about it. On the bottom of the stairs there is a door. It's closed. You need to knock on it, or better if you ring the doorbell.A doorman will open the small window on the door and he will be asking for the password. If you don't have the password, please go upstairs to the museum and the cashier will give it to you. After that, you may go back downstairs to the door and try again. One time I didn't know the password and kept knocking on the door and the doorman kept shutting the window closed on my face three times before he let us in! Just like in the old time! After the adventures entry, we found ourselves inside the 1920's era ... The bar is beautifully decorated, not very big, but definitely enough to get a delicious cocktail. On the weekends, they have live music ... It's a pretty fun place!Bartenders are usually super busy but always have a minute to chat. My cocktail is always amazing! One of my favorite is the Giggle Water ... Can't wait to go back!

This speakeasy was sick. The vibes were incredible and the service was fantastic. We came for our friend's post-wedding and we were in awe. Once you walk in, it felt like you were teleported into the past. All the drinks were well balanced, and there was an extensive menu. There's definitely something for everyone. It was such a great experience and a must visit for Las Vegas.

Secret underground bar inside the mob museum is a must see. Knowing the building used to be the United States Post Office and Courthouse, the 1st federal building in Las Vegas is interesting. Also they have a visable brewery and distillation process to see

When we went to the Mob Museum in Las Vegas last month, we went to the Underground speakeasy located in the basement of the Museum. It had very nice decor matching the theme, and was very clean and comfortable. It's a very nice place to have a drink and chill out when it was like 108 degrees outside! No one asked for the secret password for entry, that Daughter had ready should they ask. However, there was a lady checking everyone's ID before entering, as only people 21 or over could enter, so, do prepare to have your ID ready. There were different types of tables and seats available, the 3 of us picked a high top round table. Since Hubby already had a complimentary beer in their snack department that every father got on Father's Day, he ordered a Bud Light ($8.00). Daughter ordered an Old Fashioned with the Underground Keepsake ($40, would be $16 for the Old Fashioned only). The Old Fashioned was pre-fixed in a small bottle hidden inside a hollow book, Daughter poured it out herself to the glass filled with ice, so that was kind of fun. They gave her a new hollow book with a new bottle inside as the included keepsake, that was nicely packaged in a box and a bag. I had a mocktail called the Test Pilot ($9.00), which tasted very good with the right amount of sweetness and was refreshing. We all enjoyed our drinks. Our waitress was a sweet young lady, who's very attentive and pleasant. We had a good time at the Underground speakeasy, and highly recommend it if you are in the area!

We just had our wedding in the courthouse and our reception in the Underground. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was just as I envisioned it. There was no need for a wedding planner with Josh and Christy to assist with every detail along the way. The Underground made for a unique wedding vibe and a really fun party that our guests loved. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
