We had an amazing experience at THE Steak House! Our server, David, was very friendly and attentive. He shared stories about the history of THE Steak House and the longevity of the staff. The background of "old Vegas" made the visit even better. The food was excellent! Our table ordered a couple Rib Eyes and a Filet. All were cooked perfectly and delicious . The garlic mashed potato's and the sautéed mushrooms were outstanding. We also had a shrimp cocktail and an oyster appetizer, again, delicious!!! The only down side is the location. It is located inside the Circus Circus which is an older very much in need of updating and cleaning hotel. THE Steak House deserves a better home but much of the magic of the experience is the old school feel. So as long as you don't mind going through the hotel to get the restaurant I highly recommend THE Steak House!

I can see why this place has 5 stars. Everything both it was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection (filet) and the asparagus that came with it... superb and flavorful. I normally don't get dessert but had to try their cheesecake. Another flavorful and delicious part of the meal.

This was a lovely nostalgic dining experience at a steakhouse that exudes old world Vegas vibes. It's easy and highly recommended to make a reservation through their website. We were seating quickly upon arriving, and they noted our request for a booth and provided a large and spacious one. The interior is very old Vegas with dim lighting and lots of dark leather. The server was very gracious, friendly, and attentive. I had the Cosmopolitan cocktail which was really delicious and quite strong. Complimentary bread was provided with the meal, and it was very good, warm, and fresh. I particularly loved the pretzel bread! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was excellent, and they were so kind to offer to split it (for no extra charge) and present two shrimp to each person with all the accoutrements. We also had a split Caesar salad. This was perhaps the low point of the meal. Decent but just overall "OK" with very little flavor to the dressing.I had the petit filet mignon entree. Unlike some other strip steakhouses, here the steaks include a potato option and a house vegetable. I had the baked potato which includes all the various toppings on the side. The steak was perfectly prepared and very tasty. I loved the potato which was perfectly cooked and fluffy all the way through with no tough or undercooked portions. For dessert I had the chocolate cake. Decent - not bad - but nothing amazing. It would've been nice to have some tableside "showstopper" options like maybe a tableside bananas foster or flambeed cherries jubilee. Overall, though, this was a great dining experience with plenty of old world Vegas charm!

The food was good but a little overrated. My Rib Eye was on the fatty side but cooked well, the filet was under seasoned. Still a good experience with a nice old school charm.I like the old school vibe of the restaurant. The Alaska King Crab legs were a treat. The food was decent , not the best by any means. I asked our waiter ( Tito I think was the name) to take a photo of myself and husband I was caught off guard that he refused since it was our anniversary. We still left a hefty tip but this is a one and done for us but worth a try.

We came as a party of three for a birthday dinner and were seated immediately in an old fashioned booth which i LOVED. We had the best server in Vegas, Tio was attentive, funny, and kept us happy the whole dinner. I ordered the tomato, mozzarella, basil salad and my friends ordered caesar salads, i was satisfied with my salad, they weren't. For the main course with got the filet mignon and ribeye with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were the best, you could taste the garlic with every bite. The filet mignon was sooo tender and delicious when it was hot and I was starving. As it cooled down and I filled up, i found the need for salt. My friend had the same feeling about his ribeye. At the end of the dinner, we requested a birthday song that came with a chocolate cake that the birthday boy inhaled ravenouslyIt was a great dinner and I would visit again. I originally came for the prime rib, but that wasn't available. If im ever in Vegas again, I would come back to try it and for some more mashed potatoes

Was one of the best steakhouses I've been to as well as the most expensive steakhouse I've ever been to. Was it worth it is the question, a resounding I'm not sure, but the steak was magnificent. The meal was magnificent and the service was magnificent. The only drawback were the hostesses at the front of the restaurant. They were a little too, Blinky, chatty, and pretentious with not much class compared to the Waite staff inside the restaurant. All in all wonderful still can taste the steak.

We have heard good things about THE Steakhouse but the only thing that stopped us from visiting was the location. However, for our 6th wedding anniversary, we decided to celebrate it with them.Upon entering, they immediately greeted us "Happy Anniversary" and I love it when restaurants pay attention to the reservation notes. We ordered the Grilled Garlic Shrimp and the Crab Cake for our appetizer. We ordered the Porterhouse Steak and French Onion Soup to share. There was a At the end of our meal, we were surprised with a Chocolate Mousse Cake for our anniversary. Our overall dining experience was pleasant and the service was great. The ambiance of the restaurant is so different from the rest of the casino.

The Steak House, is known for its old-school Las Vegas charm and excellent steaks. The service is usually top-notch, and they have a good selection of wines. If you're looking for a classic Vegas dining experience with great steaks, Circus Circus's The Steak House is a good choice. Don't be scared by the hotel. When you step inside the Steak House you are transported in time to another place. It is a fun experience and one you have to check off your list of things you have done in Vegas.

Yes, I know what you are thinking...circus circus? I thought the same thing and I was blown away by this amazing steakhouse. 1st, they start out with the tastiest hot bread and butter...sourdough and pretzel bread! You also get a choice of black bean soup or side salad, the salad was so fresh and delicious!!! Your steak comes with your choice if mashed potato, baked potato with all the fixins OR rice pilaf. We both got the 16oz NY strip with baked potato and it came with asparagus. Also, ask for the 3 peppercorn sauce to dip in, omg phenomenal!!!! The atmosphere is great, very romantic and the service is great. I am so glad I tried this place, we will definitely be back!

Don't let Circus Circus's location fool you; inside lies a gem. Timeless red leather booths, an experienced waiter with perfect pacing, artisanal cocktails and extraordinary steak, possibly the US's finest, create an exceptional dining experience with a very nice ambiance. Trust me, I was shocked too when I was invited to meet my buddies here for dinner. I'm glad I didn't decline because I was thoroughly impressed from the food to the services! I opted for the 16 oz Ribeye with a blue cheese crust and a loaded baked potato that exceeded expectations! The bread was gratifying. The sides were sensational. The salad was the standout side. The loaded baked potato was pleasing. The asparagus showed promise. The steak was phenomenal.I highly recommend this hidden gem.
