Sitting in on the band warming up.
General admission, festival seating. Sweet!
Irish Blues legend, Rory Gallagher (d. 1995). In tribute the Band of Brothers played the Railhead December 1, 2018
Dumbest event management team in Vegas. Great music; only two bartenders for hundreds of guests.
Why is there not good management at the bar? the manager is too busy listening to music rather than getting lines of 100+ guests served

I visited here for the first time for the 88.1 Friday night it was a nice spot and venue. The security was nice and the music was good. There was a lady on the mic Nick at Night, And she had good vibes. There were two bartenders they were nice too it was one female and one male. There are no restrooms inside you have to leave and take a short walk in the casino to use the restroom. Seating was wrapped around the dance floor in a rainbow shaped format. I liked the spot I would visit again... no drama grown folks vibe everyone dancing and having fun.

Not a bad place if you wanna hang out and kind of mellow out in a hip-hop fashion. I honestly didn't mind the crowd and I thought they were pretty good and the drinks are on par. I would say any night club you're going to any of the casinos usually if you're going to a big nightclub, they charge way too much for drinks, but this wasn't a giant night club. It was a decent size nightclub with decent price drinks and there was places for everybody to sit now you're not gonna get that in those giant nightclubs in the big hotel casinos but since this is a smaller casino they have a Great sized club, and the staff is friendly, the DJs were OK not the best but they played some mellow music and the crowd seem to be a little bit older I would say between their 40s and 50s. My best complement to this club is the drinks were cheap. The staff was friendly and no matter where you wanted to go in there and less you're sitting in the bigger, bigger booth you don't have to pay for it they actually have tables and chairs for people to sit down and rest. I know ladies hate to have to stand there for hours and dance, and then continue to stand without getting a chance to sit down.OK now we're going to talk about things I didn't like. The only thing I didn't like is I wish the DJ played more hip-hop, fun to dance to music not that he wasn't playing a good selection because he was but I think he could've updated it and added more stuff to his repertoire And the other problem I have is you can't smoke inside the club. Now I know that would be perfect for some people and for others they be like that's a Knogo but I'm just saying if you have the chance to go into a club where you can smoke and it has great ventilation that's perfect, and for those who don't smoke might find that venue perfect but for those who do you got to walk out into the casino and see everybody else they didn't get a chance to smoke inside. And they talk about it too. They hate the fact that they have to walk outside the club and have a cigarette while they're sitting at one of the Casino gaming chairs or slot machine. They really do hate it and they talk about it then you got a wait to get right back into the club of course security is nice enough you know they stamp you on your arm so they can check you out and they're not rude. They're nice, my husband said he saw a guy walk up to the club and he had like a really nice jogger suit I would say. Like Adidas or Nike? Anyways, the staff wouldn't let him in because they said he did not follow rules as far as what you're supposed to wear when you go inside. Majority of the clubs all around Las vegas want you to dress halfway decent no athletic attire but in the same breath, they let a guy come in with tore up shorts and a Nike shirt so if you're going to hit all athletic gear, you need to hit the scrubs gear toO. But pretty much everybody sticks address, code so that's all I could say about that. If you like my review on this club, maybe you'll like the review I have for the other clubs that I do have on my page as far as Las vegas. I try to frequent different clubs give my inside, and when I think they should and shouldn't do. A beer and a glass of wine cost me $14 compared to a drink and a glass of wine at one club cost me $50. And those are the big clubs in Las Vegas so expect to pay between 30 and $50 just for a drink, but at this club, not that much .

If u want to be told to sit down and u have to buy everything at once just to sit at a table I've been here a few times and never been treated so rude and so mean trying to enjoy the music and always a paying customer I don't think I'll be returning after this night disappointed with the staff from the moment I walked In. No fun just rude

By far the dumbest event management team in Vegas history. They hire a great musician then staff their bar with only two bartenders for hundreds of guests... Plus they require the staff at the doors not to allow any outside beverages - even water - for guests that are thirsty... Under the same roof with the same liquor license... I wonder how many lost drink sales they have. Instead of giving them our business, we just bought concert tickets elsewhere and are not going to stand in line when we get to the Wynn to see a better performance at XS. Don't make people wait in lines when there are a hundred other ways you can speed up consumption and distribution on a Saturday night. Whoever the manager is should be fired for complete incompetence and poor decision making... Oh wait, there he is... Watching the concert, not doing his job...

Came down here from Northern Utah with the wife to see Jonny Lang. What a wonderful small venue. We were not sure about traffic getting to the venue, or leaving, so we stayed at the hotel. That was a mistake. We had a very negative experience. We've since learned there is plenty of parking, easy access, and no large crowds. We'll stay elsewhere another time. We will be back, because the venue is that good.

What a joke. I have been in Vegas for years. I remember when Blues was supported and revered in Vegas. Really can not enjoy a night out when you have to stand in line for 15 minutes to get a $16.50 drink out of a SMALL PLASTIC glass from a bar with ONE bartender that has such an antiquated cash register system that is is shameful! What happened to being able to listen to great music with a good drink and friends?? Two cocktail waitresses trying to keep up with a packed room trying to carry plastic cups and CANS of beer! Really?? That's the best you can do Boulder Station?! You ought to be ashamed!! We won't be back.

Went to a concert here the other night and I doubt I will go back. Two bartenders with one POS system and someone who looked like a manager just walking back and forth while the line continued to grow. A waitress took a drink order from the couple sitting behind me but that was all. She didn't ask anyone else and the only other time I saw her was when she delivered the drinks to the couple. Seemed very disorganized although the ushers were very helpful (the only good thing). Restrooms are a bit of a walk out to the casino. Also the crowd was pretty disrespectful. People chatting all through the concert, other on Facebook, Instagram, texting. If the service got better it would be a great place to see shows. Small venue, good sound.

The Railhead hosts a steady calendar of live music (and, for a brief but memorable time, the Boulder Station buffet while it was being refurbished), but the shows I've been attending at the Railhead for the past six years fall under the "classic" category. You may also know them as "Those Bands That Used to Pack the Stadiums, or At Least Opened for Those Who Did."Blue Oyster Cult. John Waite. Howard Jones. Okay, I walked out of Howard Jones. All acoustic? Seriously? Also, the guy in seat behind me whispered that he was going to kill me. Doesn't really go with "Like to Get To Know You Well." But that's an anomaly for the Railhead crowd, which I'd classify as "politely but sincerely enthusiastic and not afraid to fist-pump or dance, but also self-conscious enough to sit down when everyone else does so." Usually. But death threats, definitely a one-off, don't let that scare you.Not everyone has the same wishlist when it comes to venues. Some people want to be able to rush the stage. Even when it means squeezing in front of those who paid handsomely for front-row seats, even if it's only three or four people doing this and not a culpability-burying throng. (I think you're getting an inkling into my curmudgeon ways.) Some venues are okay with that. (Hilton. Grrr.) At the Railhead, they'll let you headbang enough for the moment of passion to pass, but then a polite hand on the arm will remind you that if you wanted it, you should've put a Visa card on some Section A seats. The ushers are also good about photography. Look, I'll cop to having a few shaky hand-cam videos on YouTube, ones the artist didn't specifically allow. But they're terrible. Why? Because I covered the LCD screen so it wouldn't bother anyone else in the audience. I don't care if you're texting in your lap, but surely I'm not the only person to have to stand behind someone with their cellphone raised, and raised, and raised, and raised, up and down throughout the show, the record The Moment. At the Railhead, the ushers will warn you, and you're the kind of entitled person who has to start doing it again after they leave, the ushers will come back and stand there. Essentially, babysitting you. Because you're a baby. Stop being babies, people. (I'm going to scratch "use review as vehicle for related rants" off my To Do list now. Thanks!)But what about the sound? The seats? The drink service? The feel? The Railhead is one of those "not a bad seat in the house" places. You'll get a good view (the screens to each side of the stage are hardly necessary but a nice touch for close-ups) and the sound is consistent throughout the house. (Sometimes a little muddy if you're close, but that's probably a band/equipment issue.)The seats themselves... well, I wish they hadn't started locking them together. I know it makes for easier set-up/clean-up and a uniform look, but my fave trick was to get an end seat and move it juuuuust an inch or so over. Especially if my husband and I got two end seats near the wall. We'd move both seats closer to the wall, not taking up any of the aisle, not bothering anyone, and in fact, giving the next guy over a little more arm room. It's just part of the Fatty Code of Kindness. (So let's not talk about the time I optimistically grabbed front-row center seats for BOC and ended up squished between my husband and, I'm pretty sure, a Samoan wrestler. I did my best, but you can't suck in your thighs.) Still, these rather generic folding chairs are comfortable, even if we chubby types have to go for the end spots.Drink servers usually cover the room well, dipping unobstrusively so as not to block the stage, but the bar is a hop and skip to the corner of the room if you want to stretch.Four stars for good sound in an intimate venue where this 41-year-old can sit (almost) comfortably while screaming "GODZILLA!"

I came with with an uncle- and cousin-in-law to watch UFC 141. It was a relatively busy night, but the service was very lackluster. The drink girl came by twice, technically... once to take my order, and once to deliver it. Even though I kept an open tab, I only had one drink since she never came by again to ask me for another one. Bad move, since I would have purchased more drinks if she had come around. This place has NO food offerings at all -- no snacks, appetizers, etc. No outside food is permitted, either. The guy at the door said something about it, that they couldn't allow food since they allow smoking. Whatever. Bad business decision, since it would be wiser to have your patrons PAY for food and drink instead of paying only for drinks and smoke for free. The projector used to broadcast the show was slightly "fuzzy." I would have expected a better projector or TV setup, and the sound system showed significant signs of use... it's about time for them to either replace some equipment or maybe tune up what they've already got. For a $10 cover, it's not too bad of a place to watch sporting events, but I'd rather find a better place to watch the next event.

The Railhead at Boulder Station is the best entertainment value in all Nevada! If you like the blues you must check out the Railhead on Thursday nights. I've seen Tony Castro, Anthony Gomes and others. I just came back from Albert Castiglia. Simply outstanding. The best concert I've been to in a long long time.
