The Pool At the Orleans Hotel

Its actually a very expansive large pool with bean bags floating around. It is a good work out swimming back and forth a couple of times in this pool.Kittie pool next to that.In the back is a massive conjoined round of hot tubs. It was under maintenance when we were there so that is why 4 stars. Otherwise, an open wide water area.

I think for being a casino off strip, the pool was nice.I did notice a lot of elder people (60+) at this pool, so you dont go for that view, LOL, but it was relaxing. =)

The pool itself is nice and the surrounding area well kept but you can't bring in any snacks or drinks and the pool consists of only children. If you are a family with lots of kids then it's great but if you enjoy a mixture of different ages in pool or just not completely bombarded with children then I would steer away. Lots of pool games, Marco Polo, splashing and life guards blowing their whistles to try and keep the kids in line.

I chose The Orleans because I wanted to see their pools. After I packed up suntan lotion, a snack and a bottle of water, I go down to find that you're not allowed to bring in food or drink. The kid manning the door was less than enthusiastic about his job and offered no explanation or alternative. I went back to my room to eat the small snack and took a bath instead. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow, but just for the exercise, not for relaxation or fun.

Met up with the girls during the Burlesque Hall of Fame. We had a cabana and the attendants were AWSOME. It's been a while since I've been in a pool. It was clean and not too crowded, all things considered. You can order food from the cabana, like a tray of assorted sandwiches for $28, but I would suggest heading into the casino to grab a bite at the food court and bring it back to the cabana. They have bottle service, as well. We had that handled, so we were brought plenty of water and buckets of ice. Oh! And ice towels!!! I will always get the cabana.

We come every year but hadn't for 2 years due to covid. We so love the pool and the staff especially the pool bar staff. I was a bit bummed not getting a cabana and hoped that Jason and Nancy were at least still at the bar. They are here. These 2 are amazing and one of the reasons we will continue to come here. I hope management appreciates and does whatever needed to keep these 2 because they add to the pool experience. They are friendly, great at their jobs, caring and just fit ! Thanks Orleans! Have to add that Chris who we didn't know before today fits right and does a great job too! Another reason to keep coming here!

Good Family area, cabanas (covered & slatted) avail for rent-call early, floats for rent, free drinking water/ice machine. Covered cabana bar attached with water spray fans (no kids), covered gazebo with tsbles/chairs. Family pool, kiddie pools, jacuzzi, snack bar. Still have not found restrooms but they have got to be here somewhere. Bring your room key & expect your bag to be inspected.
