This quaint Ethiopian cafe is such a hidden gem! You truly step into the culture and history of the roasting industry of coffee beans. The team is sweet and gave great recommendations for tea choices! Ample seating, free WiFi, and smooth jazz- perfect working spot

What an amazing, cozy cafe. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome from the nice woman working behind the counter. We got a classic coffee and a few pastries to try. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the one I tried, but it consisted of almonds, raspberries and dates. It was so delicious and had such amazing textures, with the almonds giving a nice crunch. We also tried one of their Black and White Cookies, which might've just been the best black and white cookie I've ever had. It was so soft and literally melted in our mouths. The ambiance is so nice and comfortable, and gave off the greatest vibes ever. Seriously, if you're in the area, stop by and give this place a try!

My wife and I stopped by for breakfast before our hike at Red Rock. It's been over a month and I'm still thinking about this meal. Such kind service and amazing food. We will be back!

Is this place no longer open? Tried today for a second time. Gate is locked. Light looks on. Nobody answers phone. I don't want to leave 1 star as it would be unfair to business given my uncertainty.

This place is a little hidden, in the backside of a plaza on Flamingo (across from the Palms Hotel). But if you're willing to put in the effort to find it you'll be greeted by friendly people serving up the best Ethiopian roasted beans ( roasted in the cafe ) you can find in Las Vegas. We had a dirty chai latte, muffin and a shot of Espresso. Everything was fantastic.. the service, the coffee and the food.

I happened to be in the area in need of coffee when I saw this cute little Cafe. There is nice seating outside if it's a nice day out and you want to enjoy the weather. When we walked in I was in love with the coffee shop/Cafe feel. It is kind of an old country Cafe feel. I really liked it! They even roast their own coffee in the shop! I was so excited to try the coffee. The barista was friendly. I ordered a mocha and my family got a carmel frap and caramel machiatto. We were all very disappointed in the coffee. It was not good. Very bitter and my mocha seemed watered down. The other two were so sickening sweet we couldn't drink them. Even after mixing them up. I really wanted to love this place. It would be a great spot to meet friends for coffee but the coffee was really lacking which surprised me. Maybe the food is better but for a place that roasts their own coffee It was quite disappointing.

I'm always in the need for coffee. Not just any coffee or even Starbucks, I prefer a small biz that serves good, strong coffee. Luckily, I discovered Java Tree via Yelp app after a huge lunch. It's nestled towards a corner of a plaza. There are some tables for outdoor seating, and inside is cozy and full of decor related to coffee. In several areas of the cafe, there are plates of beans and small cups displayed. Sitting in the middle of the cafe is the roaster. There is a nice smell of fresh beans in here but not overpowering like some other roasters I've been to. I'm not sure if the lady (or owner) is from Ethiopia, but that's what she serves as the house coffee, a strong Ethiopian bean that she said is the best, and what she supposedly drinks everyday. I opted for a 20oz. Hindsight, should've gotten a 16oz or smaller because this is a potent cup of coffee. I took it black because I really wanted to taste the coffee and not have it masked by cream or sugar. A 1/2 cup was enough to wake me up and keep me going for a while, and that rarely happens. I usually drink 2 or 3 cappuccinos or a Venti to get the same effect. I didn't have a chance to try anything else but next time I'm in Vegas and if nearby, I would drop in again for some potent caffeine.

I had a nice experience here at Java Coffee. The place is a little hidden, but glad we found it! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a lady and she was very kind while we were ordering and making out drinks. The coffee beans used here are greatttt. I wish I could come here again, but we were from out of town. I would recommend:)

The ambiance is warm, friendly and inviting. The service is fantastic, beverages are made to order and delicious. The cafe is clean, cozy and wheelchair accessible. They offer substitutes in place of milk.An usually cozy cafe that is a rare find in Las Vegas.
