Well I do find myself here often when I come to Vegas but there are 2 reasons. 1) Drai's and 2) Giada's. Both never disappoint. Can't say much for the hotel because I've never stayed there although I am sure it is quite loud as it sits on a very scenic and busy corner. As they say in Real estate, location, location, location......

I have been to Vegas many times. I am seven star and have usually stayed at Caesar's or Cosmo with a friend. I've always wanted to stay at the CROMWELL and see how the rooms and property are. This was a solo trip for just a few days so decided to do just that. Booking was simple and I stayed in a Luxury room. At check in I was given other options but chose to stay in the Luxury Room for the better view of the strip and the Bellagio Fountains. The room was nice and comfortable. The Cromwell is more on the side of a homely bed and breakfast rather than a newly upgraded spacious ikea set with fancy carpet and wallpaper. I loved the atmosphere of the rooms and property. First off there is a scent as soon as you enter the property that I personally have always liked. The room is furnished with over sized furniture and hard wood floors. It fits the space well. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom is the perfect size. Big walking shower with inspirational quotes on the wall and floor to ceiling mirrors. I opted for no daily room service, but the attendants were in the hall every day assisting and turning over rooms. They were all pleasant. The EATWELL coffee shop has good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I never had a line. They are also 1:1 comps or charge to the room. Location is right in the middle of everything which I Liked to be walking distance to so much. On the corner across from Flamingo and the walkway to cross to Caesars made a convenient location to stay. I only found one flaw, but probably more for others rather than for me. My room was on the front corner of the hotel on floor 6. View was nice as I could see up the street towards Horseshoe as well as up the strip towards Bellagio. That being said it may be the busiest corner on the strip so there is a bit of street noise during the day and evening. At night it was just fine. I personally did not have any issues with it, but just be aware that forward rooms may sacrifice quiet for views. CASINO is smaller than most, and not too crowded. Tables always appeared busier than slots. I did play slots at a few properties and actually did better at the CROMWELL then Caesar's and elsewhere. I ate all my dinners at Caesar's as the options at Cromwell just were not to my liking. I WOULD stay here again and select a forward room as well. I'm not bothered as others would be by the street noise. ROOM included: iron, hair dryer, the usual fee wet bar and snacks, pillow top beds, soap/shampoo/body wash dispensers, safe, large wardrobe, Strip and fountain views. Floor to ceiling windows. Parisian style decor & Balconies (locked inaccessible) PROPERTY has coffe shop, bar, casino, valet, concierge, high roller room, IVY text concierge.

We are Caesar's rewards and have stayed at many properties. Figured we would give The Cromwell a try because photos online make it look like swanky old Vegas...This is #1 the worst room we've stayed in.Please note: the staff here is AMAZING. Very helpful and kind but the property itself needs WORK.These rooms are very small, smell musty, are dirty and every piece of furniture is scuffed and worn. We had a double queen and barely had room to place our items. The plumbing in the bathroom is awful. Our shower flooded the last night we were there. To finish my shower (after 3 other people) I stood in 4 inches of water that smelled like sewage - disgusting. The second night our toilet literally exploded on the wall in the middle of the night. It sounded like someone was calling dinosaurs but it was the plumbing backing up and exploding out of the toilet...The walls and door to the bathroom are also dirty. There's dust everywhere. On the chandeliers, lamps and cushioned headboard.Avoid this place. In my opinion the lack of cleanliness isn't worth it.Caesar's old tower is exactly the same. If I were you, start your points with MGM!!!! Their hotels are much nicer and newer.

We always had great luck gambling at The Cromwell and this was just the icing on the cake. Ceasars rewards 5X tier credits was the incentive to come and gamble and whamo! The other times we came, we've always done ok and have always left happy, but this trip we're whistling dixie home

It was good...and it was bad. Always loved the location and the fact it's small enough to get around. But customer service was seriously lacking.Started at the front desk when it took forever to register. We were able to score an upgrade, though not the one I wanted. The rooms were very pretty and well appointed, except I was there for my wedding and needed more than 4 hangers in the closet. I tried calling the front desk and was told to text with them instead. I told them what I needed, gave them my name and room number, and they told me I wasn't registered to that room. They asked for the "primary" tenant, and I told them I made the reservation in my name and paid with my credit card and I was primary. Argued with this AI bitch for a half hour or so, then headed back to the front desk to get it straightened out. Finally they brought me 4 more hangers. Don't even try to get help with that stupid computer.Lots of item to purchase in room, but no price list. That is scary, cause you know how they can overcharge. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee. The one you could purchase out of the cabinet had 4 pods - two in strange flavors. And no...the gift shop doesn't sell tthem. Soaps, shampoo, etc. was never replenished after you used it.Still...location is stellar and rooms are nice. Be prepared to pay for !any food or beverages you get here!

While in Las Vegas, we tried to visit as many hotel casinos as we could, and the Cromwell was another one. It was extremely hot in Vegas, and it was nice to pop into an air-conditioned casino! This is a smaller boutique casino that is highly rated compared to some others. It is one of the newer hotels. We mainly wanted to try our luck on the machines, and we did ok. We had dinner reservations elsewhere, so we didn't eat here. If you don't care for large, crowded casinos, then you should visit the Cromwell. It was nice to be here because it was quieter, has excellent service, and has a good variety of slot machines as well as table games. They also have seasonal sales on their rooms. It's a very nice place.

My husband and I were booked here through Cesar's Palace. My husband was attending a conference at Cesars and all their rooms were booked, thus they booked us a room at their sister hotel the Cromwell. We drove from Los Angeles on a Wednesday afternoon to find the entrance was closed. There were no directions telling us how to get into the parking so we drove around the block through the city construction, through the flamingo parking and found the Cromwell hotel. But their valet parking was full. No one out there. We went to self park. My husband went to the front desk and said, there are no signs to help direct to the parking. The desk person, Who was the manager said, sorry. Then my husband asked if there was someone to help with luggage? Manager said, you can ask a bellman. My husband said, where are they? He then said, if you have a cart I can get my own luggage. The manager said? No, the bellman get mad if you handle their carts. We found a bellman he gets the cart, comes outside and says, where's your car. We said, in self park. He said, you need to bring your car down here. Your room key will let you out of the gate. I do not go to self park. My husband goes to self park, the room key does not work and he has to pay $20to get our car out. He goes to talk to the manager and a security guard comes out to protect the bellman. I guess my husband and I were threatening. The bellman and I had a nice chat about the hotel on our way to the room and as we enter, I was shocked by the decor. This is an expensive hotel. We are here for a business trip. The room at best can be described as cheap and tacky. Purple velvet wallpaper. Cheap leatherette couch, a movie style makeup mirror. It was very dark. It looked like a cheap bourdella . My husband came in and said, what is this? There isn't even a desk. All the lampshades are black. We started calling around for a different hotel but everything was booked. We called to see if there a different room and we were told we could be upgraded to a suite. It did have a working desk. It's their business suite. The room was in the front of the hotel and had windows with natural light. We could get the room the next day. We agreed to take it. The next day, I stayed in our room to help make sure I could transfer our belongings. The people in the suite checked out at 11:00 and I was assured the room would be cleaned promptly so our room could be cleaned promptly as people were going into it too. 12:00, 1:00, 2:30, 4:00 no change. At 4;30 my husband came back from his conference and found the manager. He spoke to the front desk lady I had been speaking checking with all day. The suite we were to have had been given away. So at 5;00, another suite was given to us. It did not have a desk but the make up table had a larger area and my husband could use it. The table in the kitchenette did not have any plugs for his computer. None of the rooms could be called nice. As said they are Tacky. They have a feeling of icky. The floors are cheap laminate. The furniture cheap wood that has chipped bottoms from suitcases being banged into them and none bothers to touch up. The rooms are very dark. In the age of Weinstein, Epstein and P-Diddy these rooms are decorated in very bad taste. The front desk staff is into rude, but is so indifferent they are almost zombies. The casino is pretty. The bartenders are nice. There is no place to really eat. The gift store is a waste of time.

Disappointing Dirty Dusty Room for February stayI am a platinum Caesars rewards members for the past 10 years. Each year Caesars Management has decided to lessen benefits and started to nickel and dime their loyal customers. The latest example is the early $20 check in fee. We arrived at the Cromwell at 3:20PM for 4:PM check in. Our room was ready but the clerk required that we pay the $20 early check in fee. Out of principal we waited until 4PM and refused to pay the fee. Our stay was 4 nights and we were assigned room 6XX. On the last night of our stay I started to have nasal drip, scratchy throat, and watering eyes. This caused me to look at the room closely. I found the room is Dirty and Disgusting. There was filthy dust on top of main closet cabinet (see photos), filthy dust-lint in the window curtain rods, dusty chandlier, a black spot near the ceiling that looks like mold, filthy dust-lint in the vent that was likely circulating around the room. Cromwell charged us daily Resort Fee of $ 54.95+ tax for a filthy disgusting room. We will never stay at the Cromwell again.

Stayed Sunday through Wednesday. Went to valet my vehicle. Was told valet closed Monday at 3 so I would have to get my vehicle before then and self park remainder of my stay. Two bars, only one open most of the time. I do have to say check in is always a breeze. Now on to the rooms. Dirty, dusty, furniture is scuffed, broken. Rooms are awful. Dust everywhere. The chandelier looked as if had not been dusted in years. Bathroom needs a deep cleaning. This place used to be so nice but really has gone downhill. So disappointingOnly nice thing about this place is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, outgoing and helpful.
