The Basement: A Live Escape Room Experience

Highly Recommend for Horror Fans!We recently visited The Basement and chose to tackle "The Study" room. The experience was absolutely thrilling, especially for horror enthusiasts. The puzzles were straightforward yet engaging, with about 10 different tasks to solve. Each clue led us deeper into the mystery, and the atmosphere kept us on edge the whole time.One unique and chilling feature was the live performer in the second room--talk about immersive! The detail and creativity in the design were impressive, with lots of intriguing elements to explore in each part of the game.Booking online was easy, and we even received a 10% discount for leaving our booking unfinished for a bit--such a nice touch! Locals also get a discount, which made the experience even better.Overall, "The Study" is a fantastic choice for those who love a little thrill with their puzzles. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I've done several escape rooms around the valley from a variety of companies, but the passion and energy here are truly unique!The crew has phenomenal charisma and makes the entire experience incredibly compelling. Personally, there were many curveballs that caught me off guard in such a good way!Me and my friends are already trying to figure out when our schedules will align again for another round in their next experience! Legitimately, I can't wait to see what they do next, 5/5 stars easilyAnd huge shoutout to Anna and Darrien!

Lot of fun, first time going through this experience. The more people, the more helpful. We had trouble figuring out the clues since the rooms were not linear which made it more challenging! However, we still had a lot of fun and the staff was friendly, passionate, and great!

Our group went last night and did The Basement room and it was a blast! I'm a HUGE scaredy cat, and some in our group were also scared, but it ended up not being so terrible and we had a fun time! Very creepy and some jump scares, and the actor was good as well. If you are considering doing this but are worried about being too scared, invite a bunch of people who are more brave because that definitely helped my nerves a lot. We ended up escaping with 7 minutes left! Our group will definitely be back for The Study!

LAN the manager was so helpful; he changed our room theme for scare level and was so professional. Jewall was amazing !! We were a tough crowd in that my team was in the younger group, but she helped us through and had to overact so convincingly! Truly a gem.Thanks you guys! We will be baaack for the other ones ;)

Normally, I'm in Sin City for the food and poolside chillin', but this time, me and the crew decided to spice things up with a little visit to "The Basement." Highly recommend, but fair warning, bring your fearless sidekicks. We failed the bravery test so hard. We went in blind, looking for random fun, and boy, did we hit the surprise jackpot!No spoilers, but that live actress... After the first scare, we were on high alert. Even though I'm steering clear of round two (too scared for that drama), I encourage everyone to give it a go at least once. It's like a rollercoaster for your nerves, but with more shrieking.After our great escape, we went to grab dinner, and let me tell you, we were still Laughing at each other's reactions. overall it was super fun and I highly recommend it.

Was a great experience. Came here with my family and did the study escape room. Good amount of puzzles and you have 45 minutes to get out. We ended up getting there early and they were able to get us in before our scheduled time. Great customer service and performance by staff. Would definitely recommend we didn't escape we had 45 seconds left and couldn't figure out the final door but still was a good time.

Super interactive experience with really friendly staff! We had a 17th birthday party here and it was awesome. The food catered was also really nice! The room is definitely on the darker side though but your eyes get used to it. Also a bit hot in there The escape room itself was really interactive and super fun. The actors were absolutely amazing (even when we didn't escape.) Will definitely come back! Super surreal!

Wow! I'm writing this review immediately after completing The Basement because my adrenaline is surging and I'm so gassed (pun intended) that we made it out with 6 mins spare. This place is AWESOME!!!After doing extensive research on escape rooms in Vegas, my husband and I chose this company because 1) It was private, and 2) it looked the most legit of the horror-themed rooms that weren't outrageously priced like The Saw experience. If you're considering coming here, do it! You're in for a real treat. See below for my detailed, spoiler-free review.PROS: * The Plot: If you're into true crime, you'll love the plot behind the basement experience. That's all I'll say. ;)* The design and decor: OK, the makers of The Basement must be well-founded because the design was immaculate. I felt like I walked into the set of a Hollywood horror movie! Massive applause for how beautifully the sets were designed, how solvable but challenging the puzzles were, and how cleverly they disguised clues throughout the rooms. * The ambiance: The folks behind the basement know how to curate a downright creepy experience using everything from lighting effects to eerie music and sound effects that begin as soon as you enter the building. * The actors: These ain't your average, highschool theater kids. The folks here can ACT act. We had one actor for the duration, but she carried. She convinced me that my life was in real jeopardy towards the end when we were struggling to escape. * The extras: There were so many subtle but thoughtful extras (e.g., an on-brand parting gift and a fun victory room) built into the experience that made it feel so cohesive. Everything here is thoughtfully and painstakingly executed. They even have promo merchandise that doesn't suck! * The cost: The tickets are $35 each, which is competitive compared to the cost for other rooms that don't include live actors and are not private. CONS:* Honestly, none! Hands down the best escape room I've ever done.

This was so much fun! We did the basement as our first ever escape room experience and we had a blast. Definitely keeps you on your toes and has your heart racing which made it so much fun! The staff is so cool, friendly and helpful. Bummed we didn't catch their names but they both were great!!! We will absolutely be back to try another experience!
