We have been going here many times now and we always enjoy our food. They have a section on their menu for vegan eaters. We have tried their curry, pad Thai, vegan vegetable and vegan fried rice. Everything tasted fresh and good. I also order the chow mein with no vegetables for my kids and it is always a hit. Ambiance is very welcoming and feels like you are coming home to your mom's house. Service is friendly. I highly recommend visiting!

Thai Tara Thai Restaurant - Our Go-To Thai Spot in Vegas!Coming from California, where we've been spoiled with amazing Thai food (our absolute favorite being Sanam Luang in LA), we were on a mission to find an authentic Thai restaurant in Vegas. After trying numerous spots based on Yelp, Instagram, and recommendations from friends, we kept coming back to Thai Tara--and for good reason!Their Tom Yum seafood soup is packed with flavor, the Pad Thai shrimp is perfectly balanced, and the papaya salad hits all the right notes of tangy and spicy. We're also obsessed with their beef pad see ew, beef panang, fried fish, and crab fried rice--everything is consistently fresh and delicious. If you're craving authentic, flavorful Thai food, this place is a hidden gem that deserves all the love. We highly recommend checking them out! We love this place!!

Came in for lunch special ($12 base protein) that comes w a house salad and veggie roll. The waitress is very sweet and attentive. I'd like to come back to try other lunch special items. Pad Thai (5/5) - one of the best I've had. Noodles were chewy love it! The only time I've had anything as fresh was a guy making fresh rice noodles in a small restaurant in San Luis Obispo Pad See Ew (3/5) - no char, overly sweet, softer noodles Disclaimer; I'm not a huge Thai food gourmand but trying to find a solid go-to spot in Vegas

I had a severe craving for pineapple fried rice and luckily Thai Tara showed up on the map close to my place. So, I drove over to the unassuming restaurant nestled along a strip of other businesses. The restaurant interior is very cozy and you feel like you're at any other hole-in-the-wall joint. Also, the staff is quick to greet you when you walk in, which is a positive in my book. There was not a crowd when I visited (weekday dinner hours), so I was able to get sat quickly. I ordered pineapple fried rice--I was on a mission, which I ultimately accomplished at a very reasonable price. The rice came out fresh and flavorful, and it had both chicken and shrimp. I would definitely order this dish from Thai Tara again!I'm excited to go back and try out additional items off their menu. My first experience at Thai Tara was very pleasant!

Good flavors. Pretty authentic. Small dining space, so not good for big groups. They were out of some key items when we went, but these are lean times.

Have gotten Thai Tara for takeout countless times, but had time to kill with the family and opted to dine in. The chicken and fried tofu pad Thai are both to die for. Every time I have visited it is slow inside which is surprising, but it allows their stuff to provide impeccable customer service! We were sat immediately and brought a high chair and disposable plate/utensils for our baby so he didn't throw their nice items (which is appreciated haha)! There was music playing softly and a TV showcasing the cooking of some of their incredible items. 10/10 recommend for both takeout and dining in!

Nice authentic hole in the wild style restaurant with good homemade items. There is no liquor license so no alcohol on the menu FYI. Food was very good.

What a hidden gem this place is! I wish it was nearer to Chinatown. When we came in we were the only customers around lunchtime. We were immediately tended to, offered a drink and menu, and the server explained some of the items. Usually ordering the same items: we got a tom Kha soup, cucumber salad, and a pad see ew. It was bigger than pictured and was enough to feed my boyfriend and I. I like this place as it is quiet, clean and well decorated. I also like the name, Tara. Will come back again when in this side of town!

This is FANTASTIC Thai food. Family business with quality and freshness in the forefront. My favorite is the papaya salad with shrimp, and I order an extra portion of shrimp. The shrimp are tempura style, perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Always fresh and a generous portion.
