This place is a vibe. Always has great music and a welcoming environment.The food is great and the cocktails are lit. The staff there all have great recommendations and knowledge of the cocktails that they serve. The venue has great art as well, all of which were painted by local artist.

Taverna Costa has a great atmosphere--warm, inviting, and stylish without feeling too upscale. The menu is definitely an interesting mix, with everything from pasta and mac & cheese to Asian-inspired dishes like katsu and noodles. It's a great place to bring a group, especially if everyone has different cravings.The food itself was good, but not amazing. We all enjoyed what we ordered, but nothing really blew us away. The cocktails, on the other hand, were fantastic! Definitely worth coming back for those.The real standout of the night was our server, Alexis. He was attentive, checked in on us multiple times, and had a really chill vibe. Great service can make or break a meal, and Alexis definitely made our experience better.Overall, Taverna Costa is a solid choice for a casual night out, especially if you're with a group that wants variety. Would come back for the drinks and atmosphere!

A gem for the local music scene! Great venue, helpful and the time staff, and some great tasting food.So happy to see a venue owner that actually cares about the music scene out here!

What a charming place. Located on Main street in the arts district, the atmosphere is cozy but modern with saleavle art decor.This quaint restaurant across from the burlesque theater should be packed 24/7. Combination dining, rooftop bar, and coffee shop the menu has something for everyone with a hawaiin flair. I had the breakfast sambo which comes on a thick Jape ese Milk Bread with just the right amount of crispness on the outside and soft goodness on the inside. It comes with breakfast potatoes in the form of whole purple potatoes cooked and seasoned well. The jam, eggs, sausage, and maple syrup blended perfectly. I am a big hungry guy but I could not finish this monster. Our table also enjoyed the blackened burger and the turkey sandwich both of which were large portions. Next time we will try the honey toast desert but I was too full. The website menu is not up to date, they have ao much more. Essentially the items on the website is just the happy hour menu. They also have donbyri, loco moco, fried rice, and other hawaiian flavors. With several interesting drinks and bottled beers on the menu, some tv's, and live entertainment at night, we will definitely be back.Alexis was an excellent waiter, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

The environment itself was fun, and in a great location. The rooftop bar is awesome. 1. There was one waitress who seemed to have a bad day, she was very moody and not friendly at all. 2. Food was OKAY. 3. Cocktails was OKAY. I don't think I would come back on my own, or really recommend it.

Popped in for happy hour on a Wednesday andived it! The cocktails were delicious, and the food was good as well, in particular the flatbread was absolutely amazing! The pricing for happy hour was great, and they have taco Wednesday with $3 tacos, so we each tried one and I loved my shrimp taco! Our services wonderful, she was attentive and sweet and funny, and she made great suggestions. The restaurant is bright and inviting and I loved the space. At the end of our time I even got to order a coffee from their coffee shop! Overall I'd definitely suggest this place if you're in the area or even if not, make a special trip!

Food and service were both great. The atmosphere is awesome artist vibe. Love the are near the Smith center building up! We will definitely come back before another Broadway show. The brussel sprouts were a great app to share. I had the poke bowl and my friend had the tacos, we both left very satisfied.

Food was decent. Service was just bad. Took 10 min to get seated (with a reservation). Then another 15-20 minutes before we were greeted once seated at the table. We had to ask for our server, then they still didn't show up for another 10 min. Wasn't super interested in explain the menu. Maybe just a bad day? Can tell she was overworked or they were understaffed. Either way, won't recommend or return.

Fun vibes, prompt, friendly service, and excellent food. My chicken orzo dish was full of flavor. The chicken was tender, the sun-dried tomatoes were plump, and the spinach had just enough of a wilt to it. The taverna burger was juicy, seasoned to perfection, topped with goey cheese and some thiCCCer than a snicker crispy bacon. The rough chopped lettuce was fresh, and the side of fries were hot and crisp. My lavender drink was refreshing and lightly sweetened. An observation: I can tell a lot about a place by the energy level of the staff. Our waitress clearly loved her job and the restaurant. When we told her it was our first time, she was eager to give us a little tour of the venue and invited us back for brunch, music on the rooftop, and mentioned that the place is popping during First Friday. Easy five stars! An Arts District gem!

Me, My Son, and his Wife went to Taverna today. They have three "all you can drink" specials. I had the Sangria. Max makes the best. We had brunch and my Bagels and Lox was awesome. Max provided five star service the entire time. Really cool Guy and he takes great care of his customers. We really appreciate the extra "Customer Care" that you provided Max. This place is really clean, great decor, and provides musical entertainment. I highly recommend this place.
