Visited for the second time and it did not disappoint. It had been some time since we had visited however, it was just as delicious as we remembered. The portions are huge!!!The service was ok and the location was empty but the food did not disappoint. We shared the loaded baked potato for 2 which came loaded with Cajun Chicken, Shrimp & Crab. It could have easily feed 3 or 4. It was very tasty and filling.

SHASTAAAAAA!!Alright imma keep this one short and sweet because you don't need me to review this place to know it's good. Just stand out front and watch all the people leaving with giant bags and plates of food with Huge smiles on their faces like the food is free. But what I will do is tell you what I'm gonna do everyone I'm come here.!!Beef all day!! Any thing beef they have is life changing! And the macaroni is super on point! So order the two meats (beef short rib, or beef,or ox tails)and put that on top of macaroni and order a side of their white sauce!!!! holy Moly!! I call this the Dirty South Shmacker Bowl!!! So happy my family moved to Vegas so that I can enjoy this food over and over and over!!!!We love TasteBudz Creole Kitchen!!

The customer service when ordering is unpleasant....The reviews about the food not being cooked is probably right because you walk in and you don't smell food cooking:(The rice was over cooked or over warmed up.The chicken was cold and you could tell the greens and yams were outta the can:(Oh and the banana pudding no comment...

Maybe we got the wrong stuff? It was pretty decent. We visited due to a visiting friend who follows Keith Lee. Prepare a wait. And dishes are $25+ and placed in plastic takeout bins. There were many ppl who ordered take out. I'm torn between 3 or 4 star....it's a 3.5 for me. The SO would say 3. Jerk Chicken And Shrimp Meal with Mac, cornbread $25.00Cajun Chicken Meal with Redbeans and rice, Mac $20.00Oxtail Plate with Broccoli, and Yams $35.00Fountain Drink Pepsi $3.50Fountain Drink Lemon Lime $3.50My candy yams definitely were super sweet and mushy. The give enough oxtail to make the price worth it. The SO thought it was okay and wouldn't crave this for awhile. Spicy was definitely spicy. Corn bread was a bit dry. Broccoli was a bit mushy. It had cinnamon on top of it. Overall still decent if looking for homey comfort food. But the price is a bit steep for the quality of many ingredients and dishes.

Tastebudz Creole Kitchen is located in North Las Vegas. They offer mostly Cajun Style Foods. This is a casual type restaurant. You order and pay at the desk by the kitchen. Someone runs out your order when it's ready. Inside is extra large with bright paintings on the walls. I tried the Jerk Salmon Entree with Mac-N-Cheese and Sweet Potatoes. Every item of my entree should have been much better. The sweet potatoes were like canned potatoes that were over cooked and turning to mush. The Macaroni and Cheese might have been good when it was first made but appears to have been re-heated too many times and was breaking down. The salmon was hard to eat because of it texture and was over seasoned to the point that it was boarder-line not edible. It also had some sort of hard residue on it that added to the not edible experience. On my husband's platter the beef was so tough that maybe even an alligator would have trouble chewing it. All the food could have been better.

When you enter the restaurant you will be surprised how big it is inside with colorful paintings on the wall.Service: was not bad at all. We waited about 15-20 mins for the food. They had a line when we got there and they just opened around 11am and some people were picking up ordersI love the whole concept of this creole restaurant located on the North side of Las Vegas.Definitely deserved a shout out to Che! I would like to go back when they have a DJ or when someone is performing Or if they have an event.Food ordered:Oxtail with macaroni and cheese and greens Chicken and shrimp jerk with sweet yams and cornbread. Everything was good!!!Price: about $75 for those two orders. Worth it!Parking: plenty its next to smart and finalOverall, a very good experience!

Hyped up on social media for some ight food...The portion sizes were not it AT ALL, total was approximately $78 for 2 small size entrées, 2 cans of soda and a side of yams...Everything was flavorful and seasoned well however, I can't justify anybody come here for the prices vs portion sizes .Also, the lack of customer service was my tipping point between 3 and 2 stars. Had never been here and the employees were no help in figuring out how to order.TikTok let me down in this one...

Came here after seeing it on tik tok because we like to support local buisnesses in Vegas. The first time we went (about 2 weeks ago) it took about 20 minutes just to order and there was only one couple in front of us. A young man came in with a baby, had a to go order he called in and ended up sitting down because it took so long he was tired of standing with his baby. Again, only one couple ahead of him. As we were waiting for our plates I decided to order some corn bread. Took 10 minutes to order that. Plates came out about 25 minutes later and I had to go back and ask how long the cornbread was gonna take after waiting for that for 20 minutes. Seems like she totally forgot about it. Service needs a lot of improvement. Husband had the jerk oxtails with mac n cheese and yams and I had the cajun shrimp alfredo. Alfredo was ok, seemed like just a regular alfredo and needed more seasoning to be able to call it cajun. The Oxtails were DELICIOUS! Tender, juicy and flavorful. Rice was cooked well and flavored nicely with juices from the oxtail. Made me wish I had ordered that instead. The yams and mac and cheese were good but nothing particularly special about it. We returned tonight so that I could get my own oxtail plate. Called and got an answering machine type message that lines must be busy and we could order online. Came out to 87 dollars and some change for two oxtail plates and two pieces of cornbread. There was a fee of 3.67 just to order online. Never saw that before and I think it's ridiculous but paid it because I wasn't gonna risk waiting 20 minutes just to order like last time. The tip selection is automatically set to 10% unless you change it. Glad I saw it or it would've added another 16.70 to the bill for a to go order that I already had to pay a fee to place and could've saved if someone answered the phone.Food this time was a complete disappointment. My plate had 4 small oxtails that lacked flavor and were dry. Rice was overcooked and mushy with no juices from the oxtails. My "elotes" was a small piece of frozen corn with sauce on it, also mushy and overcooked. Ate two oxtails hoping SOME part of them would be the same as the last time but nope...took a few bites of the mushy rice and corn and was completely over it. Husbands plate LOOKED better because he had 6 big oxtails that had a char on them which ended up being more of a burnt flavor and his was even drier than mine with no flavor as well. There was heat to it but no flavor.I really wanted to like and support this place BUT we wasted almost 90 dollars tonight. With the prices they charge and a "no returns policy" (no we didn't call to complain or anything) the food should not only be worth it when it comes to flavor and quality but needs to be consistent. In hindsight, I can now see why they have a sign with "no refunds" (or returns or whatever it says). If your food is truly good and consistent then there would be no reason for people to ask for their money back EVEN when service is subpar. If you stand by the fact that your food is good as some people post then you also would offer refunds or a replacemenr IF your food ever isn't up to par with what you advertise. Sad to say that we will not be returning to waste any more hard earned money and will definitely tell people we know to steer clear.
