Taqueria Los Catrines

Service was great and food was delicious ! A lady helped us order and she was really kind and friendly. I ordered asada nachos and birria nachos. Both were amazing! Their birria is tender and full of flavor, I will definitely be back for this. The asada juicy and delicious. We also ordered an agua fresca, I was going to get pineapple but the lady said if we mixed the lemonade and pineapple it taste much better and she was right! Very refreshing and still great tasting. I will definitely be back to try more things

Honest review my wife and I love the chile relleno burritos and the quesabirrias but besides that everything is bland. I tried mostly everything on their menu and it's just not that good. Tried the birria burrito and it tasted like tap water. Which is so weird but it does to me. I go around the whole city to get good Mexican food and this place has the least good stuff on their menu.

Taqueria Los Catrines is located on Charleston near Nellis in Plaza México. There's limited parking.Inside is spacious with good seating for a table or booth. There's a TV showing sports channel. Menu offers a small selection of tacos, birria, burritos and combo plates.The Chilaquiles ($9.99) is delicious! It's a good serving of tortilla chips in green sauce topped with two sunny side fried egg (+$1), served with Spanish rice and refried beans, very filling! They offer Tater Tot Nachos with toppings of meat, cheese, sour scream, guacamole and salsa, it's a big portion! I opted a small order of tater tots ($1), and requested extra crispy with a side of guacamole dip ($1). The salsa station is well-stocked with red and orange salsa, and the green salsa is good! It has green tomatillo, onion, cilantro, garlic, and a spicy kick from jalapeños. Condiments include lemon slices, carrots, and onion.My favorite is the avocado salsa that has Mexican squash, rich and creamy, and there's green tomatillo, onions, garlic, and cilantro, it has a nice tang and so good as a delicious dip for crispy tater tots, Yum!Refreshments include Agua Frescas. Horchata (32 oz, $3) is my favorite, it has a lovely sweetness and so refreshing! They also have hibiscus, pineapple, and lemonade.Overall, service from Letty is very welcoming and friendly. She's so nice and helpful, attentive, and even made time to explain the ingredients in the sauce which is good to know!

This place is so good! We come here often and are never disappointed. Service, food quality and cleanliness are all great.

Walked in late afternoon around 6pm on a Wednesday to a warm greeting . Lady at register who provided me with recommendations since it was my first go around. Went with my go to when eating Mexican but with added the enchilada sauce . Burrito was good filled with plenty meat didn't have any fat pieces to spit out and reasonably priced . Only issue is im big on sour cream and they only put that sprinkle on the top for decor but with the cheap price it should be no issue to pay more for extra creama. I would go back based on the customer service

I was very pleasenty surprised when entering Los Catrines, the delicious smells hit my nose and I knew I was going to be pleased with my food. The menu is fairly expansive and like always, I ordered a variety of items to get a good taste of the place. The service by both the cook and the person at the register was great, very nice and friendly. We ordered a variety of tacos which were quesa birria, asada, al pastor, chorizo, tripa and cabeza. We also ordered an asada sope and the chile relleno plate. First off, the quesa birria tacos came with some consome, tacos were crunchy and cheesey. I'm critical about consomes but this one was seasoned perfectly. Just the right touch. Asada was nice chunks of beef without the gristle, seasoned to perfection. The a pastor was delicious. Little bits were crispy in the edges which made for a lovely contrast. Chorizo was just right! I love when the chorizo is hearty like a homemade sausage and this one was just that, perfect. The tripas were a bit soft but delicious nonetheless, we prefer them a bit crunchier so we're hoping to ask for that next time. The cabeza in my opinion was just okay. It was a little dry and bland. The asada sope was a 3 out of 5, good but nothing spectacular. I am always weary of ordering chiles rellenos as most places feel they can hide old food making this dish, most of my experiences have been where the chile is dry and the cheese inside is also dry and chewy. Los Catrines has one of THE BEST chiles rellenos in Las Vegas. Chiles were fresh and had a delicious smoky flavor. The cheese was so fresh and gooey, oh man it's making me want more just talking about them. This was served with rice and beans. The beans were very good and decently seasoned, the rice was cooked proper but a bit bland. Overall, I love Los Catrines! Anxious for my next visit.

The food was amazing and the service great! The place was clean and the salsa bar fresh. Just what the Mexican food lover called for.

This place is overpriced and it's not good. The carne asada and Al pastor were decent, but the carnitas were inedible.

So I need to start off by saying I have been coming here for years and recommending this place to everyone I possibly could because it's always been my favorite taco spot since the same month they opened. Came here the other day after not coming for about two months and I noticed the prices went up by a lot, which was no issue I feel like for the food they provide they should charge more so good for them. But when I got the same order I've been getting for years I noticed my tacos barely had any meat in them and they used to pack them up, it was one of my favorite things to be honest. But not just that, they don't taste the same, they're bland and all I could taste was the tortilla since they barely put meat on any of the tacos. I was disappointed because to raise the prices only to give you less meat and for the food to just not have any flavor is so crazy to me. But yeah I think I'm done with this place, greed always ruins things for me. Good luck tho.

Everything in here is delicious! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking to get down on some great food for a good price! Service was great! Food came out so quick! I definitely will be returning! From the drinks to the food, this is the place you want to eat at! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE 5 STARS! I had the wet burrito and the California burrito 10/10 They put tater tots in the California burrito instead of fries ITS SO GOOD!
