This business specializes in tamales. Just tamales. She sells a wide variety of different types of tamales from different meats, different sauces and vegetarian as well. Here is a description from her business card...Tenernos tamales de Pollo, Rajas con Queso Puerco, Elote, Ozxaquenos. If you are throwing a Mexican themed party, you should buy your tamales from her, Gabriela Ramirez, the owner of the business. This is the procedure:1, Call her telephone number and tell her how many dozen tamales you need. She sells tamales by the dozen. Give her a day to make the tamales2. She will meet you nearly anywhere in North Las Vegas but she prefers to meet you in the parkling of the Food 4 Less (address is listed in the business info) That's a great location because you can go into Food 4 Less and buy the rest of things you need for dinner.3. The best part of this deal Tamales are $1 each. Dozen for $12. That is a great bargain.I ordered 2 dozen pork tamales in red chili sauce (adobo). I asked her to cook them then freeze them so I could take it on the airplane back with me to Dulles. I went to WalMart and picked up a $5 styrofoam ice chest, wrapped it with strapping tape and checked it in with my luggageHer tamales taste very good. The pork is lean and has a strong adobo sauce taste to it. I still like mine better because I use real lard in the masa and put pork fat into the filling. (I know that is REALLY bad for you but I only splurge like that once a year around Christmas when I make a batch) It tastes like she uses just a little vegetable shortening if any at all.which makes the masa's texture a little dry. This is easily remedied when you pour the enchilada sauce over the tamale. If you are throwing a party in Las Vegas or are visiting and want to take home some homemade tamales, she is a definately a person to call, especially for $1 a tamale.
