Way better than tacos El Gordo. We got the adobada tacos on flour tortillas. The tortillas were amazing. Super thin and chewy the entire timeI'm so glad we found this spot. I'll be back

I was introduced to Tacos El Guero when they had opened a second location over the summer near Water St. on Boulder Hwy after reading a super great recommendation on Reddit and fell in love with their Tacos Al Pastor. However, it was short lived and they sold that store off a couple of months ago where they now operate under a different name. Frustrated, but not defeated, I finally decided to drive out and try the original location. It was a trek from Anthem, but I'm a taco fiend and will not be denied.Now that I've had the Al Pastor tacos from the original (and only) location, it was affirmed that these have taken the thrones from Tacos El Gordo for those that are in the know.Why are these so much better? As soon as you walk in the door and smell the smoky wafting pork Trompo in their kitchen and see that spinning cylinder of bbq pork getting crispified and cut into Tacos by the Guero team with their taco samurai swords, you know you're in for a legit treat.Everything is so fresh and delicious and I love that their red chile salsa has some seriousness spiciness (almost at King Taco level for those that know of what I speak) and all said and done, just an incredible experience with fair pricing considering a the meat they stuff in those tortillas.One odd coincidence (?), the soda fountain at their Boulder Hwy second location was always out of order when I visited there and when I went into this location, this soda fountain was OOO too. (Just know that you might (?) be drinking bottled sodas when you go). 11/10! Only other minor downside is that when you leave, everyone will know what you ate because your clothing will smell like Al Pastor and it won't be subtle! That said, for kindred spirits, glass half full, just think of it as a potential aphrodisiac because anyone that loves Al Pastor like I do will probably be immediately drawn to you. Best to know these things when looking for a significant other because if I had found out my wife didn't like Al Pastor after the fact-- straight to LegalZoom.com me thinks.Enjoy!

What a hidden gem! Yep I found my new favorite taco place. Talk about flavor all around! I literally had never had such flavorful tacos from the Al pastor to the chicken tacos. I also had the carne asada which was also so authentic. The al pastor has to be the best I've ever had hands down EVER in my life. The meat was seasoned well and had a great kick to it. The one thing these tacos didn't need was the extra Guac. I should of said no thank you. The tacos didn't need the Guac! The service was quick ands professional.Casual ambiance. I definitely can't wait to come back again.

Increíble! This place is a step above Tacos el gordo! We enjoyed everything we had. The lady at the counter was super helpful and friendly with all our questions. They are located inside the Durango taco shop building in a little strip mall. We had tacos, tortas, and mulitas campechana! Voted best tacos in Las Vegas for a reason! Trust me mi gente, if you are in the mood for some tacos, mulitas, tortas, carne asada fries or meat packed quesadillas, that are nothing short of spectacular, then this spot is definitely for you. Clean place, lots of parking, outstanding service, an amazing authentic tacos! This menu has so many more options compared to El Gordo. The employees were all very friendly and welcoming and the owner himself personally greeted customers at their table and asked if they needed anything. He made customers feel at home. The adoba was so delicious and authentic. Just a little bitty salty for my taste but still perfectly cooked. Their red and green salsas are delicious and fresh and you they have likes and cucumber available at the bar. I've been following tacos el guero on tik tok since he started selling tacos at the front of his house so I am so glad he was able to open up his own place and give everyone a chance to try his amazing food. I can't wait to go back with friends. I am recommending to this place to anyone looking for authentic tacos.

Been wanting to stop by for a while now since the opened. Just realized how close they are to BLD when I watch my son play softball. We stopped by at just before they closed. We ordered some Adobada (Al Pastor) and carne asada tacos ($4) and also a quesadilla. The tacos are packed with meat and flavor! The tacos were delicious especially the adobada. The ingredients work so well together and the grilled onions a chiles! wow. The owner was in the kitchen helping out and he is an awesome guy! My son ordered a medium quesadilla and it was perfect size and delicious....TIP don't forget to get a slice of cheese cake or chocolate cake they are both delicious.

Got a tip from my coworker to check this place out for tacos for lunch. It did not dissapoint. Super friendly folks and fast service. I got Tripa, Al Pastor, and carne asada tacos. It came with roasted jalapeno's and roasted onions. If you like Horchata,go for it as it will make you smile.Loved the tacos, they were loaded with all the goods. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos as everything smelled so good and I demolished the food so fast. Will definitely be back!

Very good, this is the first time I've actually liked a place I've seen off of the internet. I was skeptical at first since I don't trust places that are hyped up on Tik Tok but it's worth the hype and the price. The Al pastor is okay but the carne asada tacos are delicious. Anyways very good, very quick service too and they're really nice! I saw this lady selling hotdogs outside their restaurant and I'll try those one day too

tbh I love this place, the staff is so sweet and caring. The tacos I love they stuff them with meat and all the other food is the same as well. My faborite taco place, they are also very clean when we got there they greeted us and made sure to pay attention, while also whiping clean out table

This place is actually really good! From the guac to the meat to the salsa! The food came out very quick all the piece of meat were good bites, and the staff was really nice to come check on us and verify we were enjoying our food! It's a smaller place but well worth the stop! Will be back!
