Tacos 2 Tierras

We aren't foodies and don't usually do food reviews, but we stumbled on to this place and had to share. It's a food truck but the experience was amazing. Clean, professional, friendly and the presentation was amazing ... better than most restaurants in Vegas. Of course it earns the 5STARS with the food as it was amazing to have fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared tacos. NOTE: it is freshly made, so give yourself a few minutes for them to make it. What drove US to write a review though was the value!!! You should get out and experience this now, before they go the route of every other amazingly run food truck: open a restaurant and charge you 3 x's the cost to experience food this good.

Wow! Really good Carne asada burritos here. It was $13 for a big burrito and I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Good prices and good food. I would get it again but for me personally, I would get it without onions because they weren't diced but in strings. A little too much on the onion side for me but the Carne asada was cooked to perfection. Service is quick here. Came around 7pm and there's little to no wait. Nice spot for a food truck. Will be back!

Fabulous! My wife and I had unpleasant very gringo Mexican food the night before and we felt like we needed some real Mexican food to wash away the "bad" taste that was still fresh in our memory and our tummy. Thanks for the yelp rating, Tacos 2 Tierras came to the rescue and we can say that we were happily revived! Being a taco truck sometime make me worry but their truck is nicely wrapped professionally and the ladies were friendly and attentive. Excellent seasoning on the meat, good tortillas, and great salsa! Hope they continue to succeed and have a brick and mortar location one day because they certainly deserve it and owe to a greater population in Vegas of their yummilicious authentic Mexican food!

Another new favorite spot!!! Tried them last night after driving past the taco truck a few times and reading the great reviews. Soooo good!!! Tried the Asada burrito and Chicken street taco. Beautiful presentation on the taco! Flavors were perfect, portions large, service great.

Although I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a picture of the torta, trust me when I say it was absolutely scrumptious.My husband opted for two chicken tacos and a carne asada burrito. He was equally impressed with the quality and flavors of his meal. The combination of the perfectly seasoned meats and the delicious tortillas really sets Tacos 2 Tierras apart from other Mexican food options in the area.One thing I must mention is the fantastic variety of salsas they offer, including a fiery habanero salsa. If you're a fan of spicy food, you'll be in heaven. The heat adds an extra kick to the already delicious dishes, leaving your taste buds tingling with delight.The only minor disappointment was the absence of American-style guacamole for the street tacos. Work down the street and I regret not trying them sooner. I ordered the 3 sopes made with carne asada and al pastor. Everything was seasoned to perfection, served piping hot, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. They had the onions cooked in three different ways and they were ALL cooked perfect. The rice is one of the top of 5 best for me and the beans were cooked just tight and super cheesy. They had different types of sauces and a guacamole that had a hint of spice but not too bad. The lady that took care of me was also very friendly and asked me if everything was okay twice. This is going to be my new spot for sure.

We found out about Tacos 2 Tierras from influencer Keith Lee who discovered them on Pecos Road while looking for a caterer for an event.We saw that the food was well received and so we planned a trip over on Saturday, October 21.We saw the varied menu from Sonora, Puebla and Yucatan. It is illustrated very clearly with photos on the truck.David and Emma have great customer care skills. They answered all our questions about the food with clarity.The food was ready quickly, hot and aromatic!I had three street tacos from the Puebla menu (chicken, pastor and birria. These are well seasoned and my heart swelled when I saw my favorite grilled onions, cucumber and radish slices.My husband had the same as well as an asada taco. He is a very tough reviewer but he exclaimed how good they are! He likes the green spicy salsa with it.I also tried the quesadilla de flor calabaza from Puebla. It was yummy!! My husband chose a carne asada which is huge and full of great meat and seasoning.He, too, was happy to encounter the grilled onions. This burrito weighs more than my grandson at birth I think!!The truck was hopping when we got there.As we reached the head of the line, we were choosing carefully but had to decide on something. We know we will be back to check out these other appealing meals!!

We tried a few of their tacos for the first time...the quesobirria tacos were not as good and flavorful as others I've tried from other places. They were small, greasy, thin very little meat. Tried the cochinito pibil tacos they were good but super small street size tacos expensive for the price. We tried the Sonorense tacos which were bigger tacos of carne asada lots of fillings but was would have been better without the heavy dried melted cheese at the bottom of the tortilla which isn't mentioned on menu its like this. Was excited to eat here after reading some reviews but did not meet expectations. Truck is clean and the workers there are friendly. Maybe select something that's not tacos off the menu might be better and filling.

Tried this place for the first time today and loved it! The tacos are full of flavor and the salsas are delicious! Definitely going back!
