Sushi Twister

Pleasantly surprised at this AYCE sushi place. For the price, you get a lot of both cooked (as I call it fake) sushi, and a decent balance of nigiri (two piece raw fish on rice). The rice appeared to be formed made-to-order and appears to be sushi rice. (Common short-cut at AYCE is to make the rice bed the daybefore, so to be quick, and take it out of refrigerator but the rice is then not soft.) Even for Sunday brunch, there were 4 chefs, and at least 3 servers, and host, so unlike many places their staffing levels ensured very prompt service . I heard Japanese being spoken and several signs were in Japanese, so despite all those fake sushi rolls, you could get an authentic (beginner) sushi experience here. (Sure they don't have the more exotic sushi like ankimo but at least there is ikura.) The only downside, not the fault of the restaurant so as to not affect my rating, was the neighborhood. Panhandlers abound. So if you happento be gambling at the nearby Sam's Town, and are tired of food there, take a break and stop by here.

Updating my review to include a review of the to-go Sushi platter! We ordered ahead for the Sports Platter and it was amazing!!!! Sushi tasted fresh and staff were really friendly. This is still my go-to for sushi in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. The platters typically also come with edamame as well. Price point is cheaper than AYCE. The platter fed 3 people(and some leftovers), for around $50, so cheaper than in dining AYCE. Platter prices vary, depending on size of the platter.

Went for lunch, not the AYCE but lunch special Nigiri and spicy tuna.Food was not as cold as I would like sushi and $20 bucks for such a small amount when it's not so much more for all you can eat. I feel that I should have been told that my food was included in all you can eat as I left hungry and $25 with tip seemed a tad pricey. Anyway, it's normally very good. Today was mediocre grocery store quality at best.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I ordered on Uber eats I wanted to see the take out aspect of it first! Ordering is quite simple just picked the rolls I wanted I ordered crunch roll, G spot, Philly, and I got some veggie tempura. I was very disappointed to see they had packed the hot food with the sushi rolls. They made all my sushi hot! Very unfortunate and probably not safe for food safety reasons!! I still ate them they had a special so I got a great discount I don't think I would pay full price for any of the rolls! They were very mediocre just kinda fell apart. The presentation wasn't very nice either they were just kinda shoved in a box and sent .

It was an okay all-you-can-eat sushi spot. We heard good things, so despite the long drive, we decided to try it. The ambiance was nice, but the service was a bit odd--we had to wait a while between orders, and even getting water took some time. Overall, it was just alright. Given the distance, we probably won't be returning.

Service here is TOP NOTCH! I've been here twice in one week and done both ala carte and the all you can eat. Tried the garlic tuna and hand rolled salmon. Phenomenal!Also had the Ecstasy rolls and they were great. (Tuna rolls wrapped with tuna and ecstasy sauce).

We are regulars and I've reviewed them before but wanted to share my appreciation to their staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. They see themselves apart from others by a mile. Food continues to be delicious and options are abundant. Grateful to have this spot to keep returning to.

I love it here!! The staff is welcoming and quick! The sushi was fresh and delicious! The Angry Ninja is my favorite! Tonight someone's old school hip hop playlist was playing and it was bumping!! I enjoyed it!!

This is my favorite all you can eat sushi place. Definitely get the cow girl. Shrimp tempura and veggie tempura keep it coming
