This is a really great spot on the North side of town! When entering the restaurant we were instantly greated and the employees were friendly. We were seated right away, which was awesome! This place does have limited seating, but they do have variety to include sitting at the sushi bar. The menu has a great variety and I loved that they broke down their menu by type of roll, rather than just listing them one by one. The menu could benefit from some more pictures, but overall it was clean and easy to find things based on what you like. Unfortunately they do not offer half rolls, so keep that in mind when ordering. The rolls are also decent size, so order a little at a time or you could regret it. Half rolls is probably the biggest reason this place didn't get a 5 from me. I would normally be able to try 4-6 different rolls at a place that officers half rolls, but here I could only try 3 rolls. For me, I know what I typically like so that was fine, but for a newcomer to sushi, this could be problematic. I ordered the Sun of the Beach which I typically order at other sushi restaurants. They had their own version of it which was not bad. The sauce was a little sweeter, and there wasn't much of it. Typically this roll has 2 different sauces, one of them being spicy mayo. This one had a sweeter sauce that was similar to yum yum. Additionally, instead of fresh salmon they had salmon tempura on top. It was not bad but I probably wouldn't order it again. The Horny Dragon roll was my favorite. The sauces were flavorful (wish there was a little bit more but not the end of the world) and the eel on top was crispy and delicious! I definitely recommend giving that roll a try! My husband ordered the Volcano roll and it was also very delicious. It had just the right amount of spice that wasn't over bearing and the baked scallops on top were the star of the show. We tried a few appetizers and the "who's your daddy" was the best. It was a flavor bomb of crab, shrimp, cream cheese and sauce. Amazing! The green muscles were out of this world delicious! I don't know what sauces are used on those but 10/10! The "who's your ex wife" was similar but it was wrapped in jalapeno. Because it is only fried for most likely a couple minutes, the jalapeno was pretty much raw and it was a big chunk, so I was not a huge fan. It was similar to a jalapeno popper because everything eas stuffed into it, but the raw jalapeno threw off the flavor. The garlic edamame was also great. Not too spicy but enough to add a little kick of flavor. Our server was awesome! They kicked butt and was not only greating/seating customers but was also taking orders and bringing the food to the tables. They stopped to talk to every table and were really personable. They gave great recommendations and even gave some insight on the history of the restaurant and how the new owner has some great ideas coming! We look forward to coming back and seeing how this restaurant evolves. The food was tasty and the employees were friendly, that alone is worth coming back for. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area!

Amazing, top notch service. Both owner/sushi chef and server were extremely kind. The server was really personable & made sure we were taken care of. Food was also good! We got the vampire & orange crush. While both were tasty, we enjoyed the freshness of the orange crush! The chef also made us a cute orange boat for waiting- which wasn't even a long wait. All around vibes were good.

This place is a hidden gem! The food here is exceptional. We ordered the chicken Katsu Bento, and the Korean barbecue beef Bento. Both delicious. Also, the sushi is extremely fresh and made well. And the service is by far the best! The Manager Haley waited at our table. She's personable and made excellent recommendations; such as the mistake sushi roll, and that was to die for. We'll be back . Highly recommend this restaurant. What a nice surprise.

When trying somewhere new, I always make sure to try multiple options to really try and get a feel for what the restaurant offers.I tried everything from the pork belly to the honey toast, and I did not have a single bad bite. The restaurant itself is small & very quaint. The lighting is a bit dimmer than I might like, it was a little difficult to read the menu, but it was cozy and comfortable overall.Everything was absolutely delicious, it came quickly, and the service was excellent. Our server, Monica, was fantastic. She was a key ingredient to us enjoying our experience. The price of the all you can eat was the $30 per person dinner pricing, and it a was worth every penny. My only critique is that I do wish it was a little brighter, but we will definitely be back!

Sushi Day is a small reasonably good sushi restaurant located in North Las Vegas. You can order a la carte or go for the All-You-Can-Eat (lunch around $25. Dinner around $30). The prices are very low here. It's not the high end melt in your mouth stuff here but it will do for a sushi fix.We went for the all you can eat ($29.95@)Between us we tried a lot of things.crispy tuna, vegetables tempura, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, snapper sushi, spicy tuna roll, salmon lover roll, Korean BBQ Beef Burrito, fried shrimp, and yuzu sake.On the night we were there they made the nigiri sushi with loose rice that fell apart. The rest was reasonably good.I never had yuzu sake before. To me it didn't taste like sake but was refreshing and not too sweet. Our server was very helpful and efficient.3 stars is a positive review on Yelp and translates to A-OK

Beware!!! This place will rip you off, my daughter and I came here to eat, we each ordered one roll and the waitress charged me $30 each for all you can eat. When I told her I wanted to pay a la cart she refused and started talking crap in Spanish not realizing we understood what she was saying , I ended up having to pay $74 for TWO SUSHI ROLLS!!

Yelp Review 2023 #202:I've been to pretty much all AYCE sushi restaurants in town but I've never felt sick after eating sushi until I went to this place. This replaced a sushi spot I used to frequent years ago (Sushi Wow).I came in around 1pm over the weekend. So, they weren't busy at all. They only had 2 other parties. I had a small wait before I got seated. It was 1 person behind the sushi bar, and 2 servers. I was the only Asian person in the restaurant - big red flag!On weekends, their AYCE is $31+ all day. On weekdays, lunch is cheaper, dinner is $31+. My advice is to drive to Chinatown or go to Centennial for AYCE sushi and definitely avoid this place.I ordered shrimp tempura, calamari, nigiri, and a few rolls. Everything was sweet even the spicy rolls were sweet! It was horrible. The fish look like they've been sliced using a dull knife. The rice was dry and old. The food came out really slow. The other table was complaining they haven't gotten a lot of their order. The food made me so sick, I was throwing up in the car which is a first for me. This is a BIG NOPE!

All you can eat ($29.99 for dinner , $24.99 lunch) The service was good! We had a server name Bree she was very polite. She was a newer employee but was able to answer questions with assistance. She was light hearted and made good recommendations! I had the screaming orgasm it was delicious. The sushi had a sweeter taste and it probably was our selection of rolls with crab and eel sauce. The star of the show was the garlic edamame it was a slightly spicy garlic sauce so yummy. On the spicy side it was out of 5 so extremely mild. Every thing was fresh and made to order. My husband loved the gyoza he had 3 orders of it. Very nice. Experience . Ambiance is laid back and smaller restaurant. Decor was a little dated. Soda fountain was out of order but they had soda offerings (via can $1.99) the food was worth it so I didn't knock off stars for small issues.

The BEST! We love Sushi Day and the staff! I love having a local sushi joint not far from me! The service is always wonderful and friendly and the sushi tastes amazing! We feel like family every time we come to visit because we are treated as such. They have a "Buy 2 beers get 1 free" deal that is great if you want to throw a couple back with your sushi meal. We always sit at the bar so my son can watch Chef work his magic. On one visit, Chef recommended tobiko(spelling) aka flying fish eggs and ooOooOooOooOo he has me hooked! I've always been a fan of masago but these particular tiny little eggs pack a bit more flavor and that yummy bubble crunch texture that I love so much. If you want small venue vibes with great service and very delicious sushi, I highly recommend giving Sushi Day a try. Tell them Scooter and Kristel you! Xoxoxo

The food was good, but there were only two of us and we ordered appetizers and entrees. My friend got her entrée, and a couple who came in 5 minminutes after us, got their food. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my appetizer. The other couple was halfway through her meal when I finally got my food. Seriously bad planning in the kitchen. I think I liked it better under the previous management.
