A few good and bad things about this sports book. I like good service more than anything and this leaves me feeling something is lacking. Sunset Station has a pretty big and nice looking sports book that could be awesome but there's just too many problems. One is with the severs and their bad attitudes. The other is it almost literally will stink you out with the poor ventilation. I generally like this sports book. It overall is pretty clean. The smell aside, this place doesn't look dirty or like they never vacuum. It's also big. There's a lot of big TVs. It has its own entrance. These are the good things. As for the bad things, there's a lot. For one, the staff is generally unhelpful. It seems they don't feel like doing anything. They don't want to take your order and they seem annoyed if they're talked to or asked to do anything related to a job. Also there's a bad stench so much that you may not be able to breathe. It's all over the casino but really bad in here. The overall setup is nice though.

It was the DAY of the Big Game. I know, waiting till the last minute to place our bets? We must be crazy. But we really wanted to do it.I actually have never physically bet on a game before. I've tried, but then forgot you need cash money in order to place your bet. For some reason, I thought they'd take a credit card. I was 21... don't judge. But now, I'm much older and understand they need the cashola in order to take your bet. So my husband and I decided we'd place our bets on the Big Game. We came here in the morning and even grabbed some mimosas while we placed our bets. They had the packets all outlined and it was easy to grab one and take a seat. We went through the packet a few times and each selected 5 different bets we wanted to place. They have individual spots you can sit down and have your own TV or you can sit in their nice, comfy chairs. We sat in the comfy chairs and placed our bets that way. Be warned though. There is a lot of second hand smoke happening in this area, so if you don't do well around smoke, I suggest you figure out how to place your bet online. The line to place the bets was super massive. We finally got in line, but honestly, it went by so quickly. They definitely have it down to a science there. We were super impressed in how fast it went. I think we waited about 10 minutes tops, but it definitely looked like much longer than that. Only sad part was when we got to the front, we noticed the cashier next to us offered the guys betting some drink tickets, but our cashier didn't offer us any. I'm assuming because we didn't spend nearly as much as them.We will probably come back here again to place our bets since the process was so easy, even for this first timer. For knowing nothing about sports, I had more winning tickets than my husband. Ha!

Only went there once to cash in a ticket and place a bet. I had no idea what I was doing. I said to the man ''I'd like to cash this in and make a bet.'' He said ''Whoa whoa whoa!!! One thing at a time!!!!'' Wow. Customer Service is dead. Why do they have to be so rude and why is Sunset Station employing such rude people?

I like the Sunset station Race and sports book, first because palace station sports book doesn't want my business, second because it's a roomy modern and clean venue. I love it on football day $1 beer and hot dogs- good enough reason to sit all day! It's a bummer that I live a bit far and can't make it as often as I like, but if I'm going to spend my Sunday, betting on games, drinking beer and eating hot dogs you can bet I'm coming to sunset station race and spot book where they treat you right Nice work

This review is for Sunset Station's Sports Book.If there's one thing I learned about Las Vegas since moving here, it's that my friends sure need me most when it's Friday during the football season. Never fails. I will get that phone call Friday afternoon to place a bet for Saturday and Sunday's games. I'm like a bank at times. Might as well call me Mel's Fargo. That brings me to Sunset Station's Sports Book. Located off Sunset and Marks. You can't miss Sunset Station from the 95 freeway. But if you're going to the Sports Book only, park on the Sunset side since it's closer. I didn't stay to watch any games, but was surprised on the seating. For a smaller casino, the sports book is actually bigger than a lot of strip casinos. Comfortable seating too. Lines to place bets are no different than any other sports book in Vegas. Usually long after and before a game. Usually shorter during the middle of a game. One thing about this sports book, they open additional windows if the line gets long. Ambiance, amount of TV's, and comfort is what I look for in a sports book. This sports book has all 3. If in the area and need a place to watch a game, don't be surprised to find me here moving forward. For a sports book, I recommend. This has to be one of the biggest sports books for a Station Casino.

Nice relaxed sports book. Large enough and with enough tv's. You can smoke and eat and drink. The staff is friendly and helps you need something.

We had a horrible experience here & management just didn't seem to care- especially Scott!! We went there for the first time this last Sun to watch Sun night football. We had reservations for the game. When we got there, the hostess just sat us at the 1st semi clean table, and didn't even check which was our reservation. I promptly ordered a bucket of beer and my wife ordered a red bull & Jager. It took them almost 25 min to bring my beer! And my wife's drink was pure Jager! WTF!! The night didn't get any better at all! The service was horrible. I had to go to the bar to get my own drinks!. My food wasn't made as I asked for, but I was afraid to send it back! The cocktail servers were rude, slow and incompetent. We live just 5 min away. I rather drive further to get better service! It doesn't matter how nice the place looks if I can't get decent service. I have an 80" tv at home, but I came here to chill- and that didn't happen. When I spoke to Scott, the asst manager of food & beverage- he just didn't care at all! He was very dismissive towards me! He moved us to 'better- more expensive seats' as his way of making yhings better! When he should be addressing his servers- he never once addressed them! He should not be in charge of anything. Scott's attitude & behavior was not that becoming of a manager- especially in a local Henderson casino!! Jeff, the manager of the sports book, really tried to help us, but could only do so much since it isn't his area.

stations is a bad joke their app glitched out placed my bet twice! it's been 3 months later and they haven't responded to emails or phone calls. one of the locations said i had to drive all the way across town to red rocks for them to give me, my refund for the glitch.so today i was the closest to red rocks i have been since the glitch. so i stopped by. sports bet boss luke. goes on to inform me that theirs nothing they can do. it's an it issue.now where not talking my normal $110 to $550 bet on this football game. it was a small wager of $53.18. if something weird had happen at a blackjack table it would have been cleared up instantly!don't gamble with stations sports app!when their app glitches out you're the one who gets screwed! when i called in after getting home from being at redrocks.they told me the had closed the original ticket.they never even reach out to me!place your bets with a reputable casino!i'm now using williams hills sports app and it is greatly superior to stations!the way they have treated me throughout this issue like i'm lying to them is not how you treat your customers!!!!i doubt i'll ever spend a penny in any of their casino's again!

I want to preface this by saying that I enjoy betting on horses and have been betting them at Sunset Station for the better part of 18 years. I am a President card holder because of it. Recently, they implemented drink tickets for all players and that's fine, but I play on the STN Race App. I was told that the only people eligible for drink tickets had to play over the counter and that really upset me. How is that fair and what is this really about? If it's at all possible, take your business somewhere else. For some reason, Station Casinos doesn't want our business anymore. I'm not a big drinker, but it was nice to have a drink while playing.

Why are the people that work in the sports book that write the tickets sooooo rude and nasty....It is obvious that they hate their jobs by the way they talk to people that make bets. I try not to go here because of the way I am treated. It seems like every time I go there something happens and all I try to do is make my bet and get out....I never stay for a beer or a snack simply because of the people there....Might want to make it more welcoming and inviting......It starts and ends with the people you hire and these people clearly don't want to be there!!!
