Stake Out Bar & Grill

Stopped by this place cause my fiancé and I had a little bit of time in between our busy schedule on Sunday (11/08/24). We wanted to watch the 49ers game and get some lunch. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, fried zucchini and spicy mac and cheese tots. The food came out super hot and each bite was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you are ever in the area!

Service and ambience is terrible. Service was rude. Look for any other bar you can find.

Server was polite but went for Bills game they had no food , Smokey in bar , and four or five people there the $20 in the machine lasted about 15 minutes plus she charged me for the drink.

What a wonderful place. Everyone is so friendly, the drinks are good and reasonably priced and the food is yummy. There is plenty of parking and the restrooms are clean. Thank you to everyone at Stake Out for a wonderful evening.

Good was good, drinks are VERY reasonable, machines are loose and allows a lot of play but most of ALL... bartenders are attentive, friendly and easy on the eyes.

A wonderful place to meet up with friends. Great bartender, good atmosphere. They have daily specials on drinks and food.

Not the steak out I know!Fries were cold and not cooked. Definitely not the spot for before and after the UNLV baseball games.

I saw multiple reviews here praising the ribs here, so I thought I'd give them a shot. The rack comes fully intact, so you have to cut into them to separate each rib. Upon first glance, the outside was slightly charred, but noticed overall there was a rubbery/bouncy texture and feeling to the meat which struck me as odd. Cutting into the meat was very difficult. I finished one half of my order and started to cut into the other half of the ribs. This is when I noticed it was extremely tough to cut in to. When I finally got them apart and looked at the meat in the middle, it appeared to be raw. If the ribs were just slightly undercooked or simply bad tasting, I would not be writing this review. However, these looked to be extremely rare and - lo and behold - now I am sick. What makes matters more frustrating is now it's a long Labor Day weekend, so medical services and opening hours are not as accessible. I am now experiencing symptoms of food poisoning and extremely fatigued. This is the single worst food experience I've had in Vegas and in the past decade. Unless their attention and method to cooking their ribs are significantly changed, I would highly recommend NOT ordering their ribs.

Now that they have food again I'm giving them 5 stars. The time where they didn't have food was a sad time. This place actually has really good bar food and I think it's the very last fairly priced bar in Las Vegas. I do miss the homemade salsa they used to make because their chips and salsa were the BEST. And I promised friends I'd ask in this review if you could bring back the loaded tots too haha. But the new menu has little pizzas on it and they're good. I wish they would connect more with the unlv community because I'm always surprised at the lack of students there. Unlv has a very non traditional student body. Lots of 21+ students actually. Every time I take people with me to Stake Out they always comment that they had no idea it was there and it's literally across the street!!! And its got the best happy hour in vegas. No really...The best happy hour in vegas. And after the loss of crown and anchor this is one of the last original bars in the area. The bartenders are really nice too. It might seem like a little bit of a gloomy atmosphere when you walk in but trust me it's not. Everyone there is really friendly.

I looked at the reviews, so we went to see why most have 5 stars but most are months old.Now I know why, most have new management, because the service was terrible and the food was not that great. No more visits from us, better bars in Las Vegas NV.
