Amazing! Woman watches a lot of food videos and came across one where Alex was getting interviewed about their locations. He mentioned that this location was the only one that served the wraps and that's all it took. We came here w our neighbors and their daughter. We made reservations and I'm glad we did. When we got there it was relatively empty compared to when we left. We got sat quickly, but apparently at the wrong table. Alex came and asked us if we could move to a different table after we'd had our drinks and tea. We were moved closest to the kitchen and honestly I still don't understand why. He offered us an appetizer so that did sweeten the deal. He asked questions about preferences and said he knew what to get us. Yihan was our server and he was SUCH a rockstar! Knowledgeable, funny, charismatic, everything you want a waiter to be! He helped us with our questions, helped make menu choices and is wrap cart king! We did the duck wraps with the noodles/veggies, eggs w/scallions. The neighbors did the crispy beef, fried rice, stir fried green beans, their daughter is vegan and did the mapo tofu, and walnut shrimp. Alex selected the pot stickers for us as compensation for moving tables. Also I was in the test room when tea was ordered, so I'm not sure which one we had. I think it was the peach, it was pink, light and aromatic and Yihan hadn't had it lol. I also ordered a mixed fruit tea. Yihan brought the wrap cart out and did a beautiful presentation on how to make the wraps. I guess people usually order them as an appetizer bc nothing else came for a while. They thought we were sharing but our neighbors didn't want any. Once they figured out they were just sitting, watching us eat, Alex had them rush their food. He also told us about the wraps, and how they flew the chef and his family out just to make this dish!!!The wraps are delicious! I know everything's expensive but they could've included more duck lol. I'm not big on eggs, but the scallion ones were so good as were the veggies/noodles. The hoisin sauce made them pop, I also love the texture of the wrap itself. Together it's so so tasty! As was our neighbors food lol. The crispy beef is light, crispy perfection. Y The green beans were also quite amazing. Flavorful and delicious. I even tried the tofu despite its three chili pepper rating. It's not traditional spicy and I rather enjoyed it. As did their daughter who loved how they made it. The ice tea was also refreshing, light and delicious! All in all it was fabulous! I already want to go back and try so many more things lol. Plus the wraps again. I loved the decor, service, and details put into everything. When we left there was a mob outside, so I highly recommend reservations. I'm so glad we found this place!

Dan Dan noodles for a late lunch with a side of pork fried rice (to plan for leftovers).A beautiful dining room with private dinings areas. The service is first class. The Dan Dan noodles had just the right mix of spicy sauce. The texture of the noodles was perfect. The pork fried rice was delicious, although I only had room for a few bites. Cloth napkins and soft drinks that didn't come in a can would bring the ambiance up a notch. Otherwise it's a first class Chinese restaurant. I'll be back.

Check this Location Out! Over all 4.7/5 stars! While China Mama has multiple locations in Las Vegas, this specific location has a unique menu and is apparently the only one of its kind. Ambience (4/5): Upon entry, you are greeted with elaborate decor. It's modern and funky with a splash of whimsy with the cloudy mountain wall-paper. They had red decor up for the lunar new year which I thought was great! I also appreciate the porcelain-like plates on the table. They remind me of a fancy tea party. Service (5/5): friendly! I was greet as soon as I entered the restaurant and they took the time to answer my questions about the menu. All the staff is actively engaged and professional. And the service manager(?) gregarious and helps conclude the meal well. I really appreciate their dynamic here. Food (5/5): we had the couple set menu with duck. We split it among three people and ordered an extra duck tofu soup. We felt the need for more food but the couple set menu is definitely enough to eat for two. This dish is unique to this China Mama location so I highly recommend. It was tasty and our server showed us how to properly make our wrap. We also ordered the Guo Bao Pork with steamed riced. Next time I intend on trying the taro duck dish. All-in-all, I recommend coming here. Whether you're a local or here on vacation, it's worth stopping by and enjoying the experience.

I've been to all the China Mama locations in Las Vegas and am so happy to finally dine at Spring by China MaMa. This is definitely a more upscale Chinese restaurant, so I expect service to be top-notch. Service was absolutely great!!! 5 Stars for all the workers for their pleasant personalities. We had our cell phone on the table watching the Super Bowl, and the workers engaged with us as they passed by. Because this is SPRING by China MaMa, we just had to order the Spring Wraps. Select your wrap of choice, sauce, meat, egg, and veggie. Keep in mind the pricing for every item you select. Food:Thin Spring Wrap with Yu Xiang Pork, Stir Fried Vegetables with Vermicelli Noodles. We also opted for the sauce and are glad we did. The wrap was perfect. Thin, but it didn't break. It had a good taste. The meat was also flavorful however, the vegetables were a bit disappointing for me. I wouldn't order it again. I would stick to fresh veges like the cucumber and onions that they serve on the side with the sauce. The Crispy Beef is a staple, so make sure to order that dish if you haven't tasted it before. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return.

We planned our trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the Lunar New Year and my husband's birthday at a couple of popular Chinese restaurants. Soon after arriving from a redeye flight and early hotel check-in, I used the Yelp App to make lunch reservations at China Mama. However, I made reservations at Spring by China Mama was located in the Paradise Esplanade strip mall anchored by Ferraro's Ristorante and CVS between the Virgin Hotel and UNLV and is a collaboration between China Mama and Lao Chang Spring Pancakes (founded by China Mama owner, Ivy Ma's grandfather in China). The Spring pancakes 春饼 and roasted duck are what attracted our taste buds first as we enjoy Peking Duck and authentic Chinese (Cantonese and Northern-style Chinese) cuisines. Since we were the first customers through the door, yes, we literally looked like the "begging dogs scratching at the front door to get in," we entered this clean and elegantly appointed restaurant with contemporary decor mixed with an open kitchen behind glass enclosure. Within a few minutes, our server introduced himself (Gavin) and described the different menus set (beverages, lunch, sets with Spring pancakes, and à la carte). The menu appeared to be quite extensive and the accompanying food photos all looked very appetizing. However, we knew we had dinner reservations elsewhere and didn't want to overeat so we asked Gavin about the portion sizes. He suggested two or three dishes would be plentiful for the two of us so it was now up to us to narrow down our choices. It took us several minutes to decide and place our order while Gavin serviced other seated guests. Meanwhile, a young Asian male server or manager (sorry, we didn't get his name) came by to make suggestions and took our order. FOOD:-Salted Egg Yolk Prawns: salted egg yolks (duck or chicken) are a popular Chinese food ingredient and can be used to coat fried shellfish or seafood. The salted egg yolks have a luxurious, creamy, and somewhat grainy texture but when made into sauce to coat deep-fried seafood, that's where the "party" begins. Spring by China Mama's heaping serving (12 shelled shrimp) were golden fried with a crisp and crunchy crust and the buttery (?) salted egg yolk sauce did not make the fried shrimp soggy. Lightly salted egg yolk crusted fried corn kernels and red bell pepper pieces were served with this dish which offset the slightly salty crust with natural sweetness. $26-Sliced Roasted Duck: this dish was recommended to us as their version of Peking Duck. The duck platter was presented with roasted duck breast slices in fish scale-like food presentation with batons of cucumbers, shredded scallions and a sweet bean sauce. The six Lao Chang Spring pancakes were served in a steamer basket and were translucent, delicate soft, and chewy. Although there were pancake folding directions at the bottom of the menu, we each folded or rolled our roasted duck our own way. There was plenty of roasted duck meat to fill six folded pancakes but we were offered another basket, if needed. $38-Steamed Rice: since we ordered the salted egg yolk prawns, we felt that we needed steamed rice to accompany this dish. Our server suggested getting ONE bowlful instead of fulfilling our request for two bowls. He was RIGHT! We split the bowl of rice, although most of the rice was eaten by my husband and were contentedly stuffed. $2We're glad to have dined at Spring by China Mama since knowing that the multiple locations of China Mama are Eater Las Vegas magazine listed as one of Las Vegas' Best Chinese Restaurants as of January 28, 2025. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant: delicious flavors, beautiful food presentations, lovely decor, attentive and friendly service, and value. Our short visit made us want to return for more, but our eating escapes are always cut short because there are too many excellent restaurants and too little time spent here. We'll be back!

So I love chinese food, but a lot of Chinese food does not love me since a lot of my favorite things are items like orange chicken, crispy beef, candied walnut prawns. I eat it once in a while when I want to treat myself. I had always felt china mama was the best at killing this category of food items, and wanted to try their new spot that had some similar items as their OG location. I was actually able to get a reservation and was over joyed as it was a weekend night. I got there to find it was in a special side room for larger groups (there were 6 of us). Only awkward thing was them asking how long we would take to eat as they had another party coming in 90 min. I was like I don't know, I don't know how fast you guys are...it was just a bummer as I was not told of time constraints until we got there, and its not like its an ayce spot so was not planning on that. We ordered all the things I love and some extra items. They have these sesame balls filled with custard! Amazing, and hot inside lol so be careful. I appreciate their fun tea options. I opted for their mixed fruit tea. Super yummy, but I would see if I could get it half the sweetness level next time. Potstickers werent to oily and had ample filling. The orange chicken was perfectly crisp, good chunks of meat, not overly battered, no weird gristle. Crispy beef was addictive and crispy as promised, walnut shrimp coated just right, and succulent. Items that were just ok, the cucumber salad was fine as a complimentary item, but on its own a bit boring. The dan dan noodles were not as flavorful as I hoped even though they looked super yummy. The noodle was also a bit softer than I like. The rice was a little dry for my taste as well. They have a menu that is special to this China mama location however it was a bit confusing. I figured I would try it next time when we had more time to desipher it. I would love to try their duck specifically. Overall the place serves delicious food, in nicely appointed restaurant, with enough variety for different tastes. Its also easier to get into than their original location.

So China Mama is a local staple as they have many variations all over Vegas including the recent addition of the version at the Station Casino right off the strip. This particular place is a collaboration joint where they have the classic China Mama dishes and other collab dishes which results in items like the Chef's special taro duck and the wrap dishes. The good is, there is much more of a manageable wait than the Chinatown China Mama location. The service is similar and still friendly and its less chaotic for parking and should be straightforward. We have been here a few times and the classic China Mama dishes are still are " go tos". We usually order the Mapo tofu, the guo bao pork, the crispy beef, the pot stickers and the green beans. We have tried a few of the noodle and rice dishes as well. The noodles and rice dishes are fine but forgettable. All the other items mentioned here are all delish just like the other joints. It is a bit of a bummer this joint doesn't carry any adult beverage menu whatsoever but the tea is tasty. All in all, a solid joint, love the dishes, and the fact it's easier to dine here without waiting in insane lines. Will keep this in the rotation.

We got greeted and seated right away. The decor is impeccable and I am obsessed with the plates! 10/10 here We ordered shrimp fried rice, hot & sour soup, sweet & sour chicken and green beans. The soups - came out with a lid, very luxe feeling. However, we both wished they were hot. It was just a tad above room temp :( Shrimp fried rice - yummy. Standard fried rice, i liked how the fresh the shrimps tasted Green beans - like how they should taste. i liked that they were charred! Sweet & sour chicken - the fave dish that we ordered. Crunchy, yet saucy and nicely caramelized. the red peppers in the dish was nicely caramelized but still retained the crunch! Overall, the food tasted how they should and the service was good. We will be back.
