Space BBQ & Karaoke

Found another Chinese BBQ I just call it BBQ on the stick, cuz is on the stick.This spot is one of those hidden gem, is not a big place, but they open till 1am in the morning.I just love these Chinese BBQ on the stick, when I was in NYC, we have many places like this, but only handful here in VegasBetween Cool Bar and Space, Cool Bar is a little cheaper, because in Cool Bar you order by each stick, but here you order per order, and is all depending what you order, can be 2 stick or 5 sticks per orderAlso here they have much different dishes you can order on the menuThe restaurant inside is also nicer, loving places like this.Must give it a try

Finally came here to try with my friend to actually try the Karaoke side of the restaurant. Had came here once before because Yunnan Tasty Garden next door was under renovation and their dining room was closed. I believe they're the same owners going by that because the kitchen was seemingly connected. Anyway, back to the karaoke. We had walked in on a Friday night wanting to karaoke. They have it priced in two different ways. Hourly (Small at $58/hr up to 8 people, Medium at $68/hr up to 10 people, and Large at $88/hr up to 20 people). Package [essentially hit this minimum and room is free] (Small at $288, Medium at $358, or Large at $568 in food and drinks)Upon arrival, we were told the small was reserved so we were given the medium at small cost. All rooms are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We picked the package as we were planning on karaoking all night (except they close at 2am, kitchen last call 130am). Their drink and food menu (https://wx.hlcode.com.cn/?id=NKGegBJ) includes a variety of soju, beer, sake, varies sodas and other drinks as well as appetizers, homestyle dishes, x.o sauce dishes, parchment paper wrapped dishes, foil wrapped barbeque, mini hot pots, rice and noodles, and various veggie and meat skewers. We ordered a few beers, soju, and a crap ton of food (mostly taken home). We had ordered SLICED POTATO SALAD, PIG EARS IN CHILI OIL SAUCE, SLICED BEEF & BEEF OFFAL IN CHILI SAUCE, DRY POT CATFISH IN PARCHMENT PAPER (CHILI STYLE VS GARLIC), GRILLED LOTUS ROOT SLICES, GRILLED LAMB, GRILLED PORK INTESTINE. REST OF THESE ENDED UP BEING TAKEN HOME - HOUSE SPECIAL SPICY NUMBING MINI HOT POT, HOUSE SPECIAL LAMB STEW WITH WHITE RADISH MINI HOT POT, SALTED FISH AND CHICKEN FRIED RICE, GRILLED BEEF, GRILLED CHICKEN GIZZARD, GRILLED QUAIL EGGS, GRILLED EGGPLANT SLICES, GRILLED PORK NECK MEAT, GRILLED CHICKEN WING.All the foods were really good. The DRY POT CATFISH IN PARCHMENT PAPER CHILI STYLE came with a small fire stove which caused it to bubble and splatter all over the place. Skewers were good, even when cold. The appetizers which came first were pretty good too. Unsure why but the karaoke room was incredibly cold. I typically like it colder but luckily I had 2 jackets in the car which i grabbed for my friend and I. If it wasn't for the jackets, we would have gave up way earlier. Even near the end, close to closing, i was a bit cold WITH a jacket (but i was also wearing shorts and flip flops)The karaoke selection is pretty decent. Lots of chinese artists (for obvious reasons). We didn't touch the english selection but korean seemed quite limited. Their karaoke system is probably the best out of the ones in the area. Sensitive mics and wireless making so you don't get tangled in wires and can sing more naturally (vs shouting/yelling). The song selection is quite weird. Some older popular songs weren't available somehow. Also, the songs aren't organized and can vary from original MVs to old concerts to new(er) concerts. Some of the grayed out songs just means it hasn't been downloaded yet but if you select it, it'll get it by the time its played. Not the easiest to select songs as the tablet is in the corner of the room. Whatever QR/app thing link does not work. You have to physically get up and walk over to the tablet to select songs unlike other karaoke places with a remote at leastOverall, not bad. Was great for us two who primarily wanted chinese music selection anyway. Service was not bad. They came in periodically to check on us and even suggested to hit minimum by ordering food to take home instead of the room + food/drink cost because that would've been higher in the end. Definitely need to prepare a bit better for the cold room. Aside from this place, honestly i don't know any other chinese karaoke place in town.

We weren't hungry just needed a place to kick it at midnight. I had to go delivery before but never had the chance to dine in. Perfect business hours for our needed. The skewers: chicken gizzard, beef, plain bun, lotus root were excellent! Numbing spicy duck blood made me drool! While we were there there were couple of parties singing inside their karaoke room. I imagine could be a perfect spot for bday or any celebration with friends singing and enjoy great food together. We had 2 beef skewers left so I took it home. The next day my little one had it and say it tasted really good and asked me to get more. Will take him there next weekend.

One star for the atmosphere and decor one for the friendly wait patrons and one for the food. Unfortunately everything was super deep fried ( and obvious too) that it was hard to taste the meat, and when you eventually get to the meat it was super fatty

I've been coming to Space since they first opened. As a Sichuanese woman, their food is very authentic to the flavors of Sichuan. The chefs are even from Chengdu. Chengdu is known for street bbq. Everything here is good. I recommend others to explore the menu. Each time you come, you will discover a new dish. They open until 2AM. Anytime I get off work late, I'm always going straight to Space! Must try!

Very tasty food. We ordered chicken soup and different types of skewers. The meat was very flavored and tender. Their service is great! In the end we headed over to karaoke room that they have. We had blast to spend time there. Definitely will go back!

Food is spicy here! My friends like it so I just go along to be honest. But it is good.
