Outstanding experience.When we arrived there was a private party going on...however, instead of turning us away, they simple said to hold on and arranged so as to accommodate our party of 8. From arrival to departure the customer service was excellent. The owners were actively involved in making sure we were being taken care of. The server was knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. She never made a mistake with a single order even when there were changes. The food was simply delicious.Catfish, red snapper fried to perfection with lots of flavor and well seasoned. Oxtail was outstanding and flavorful. The sides were wonderful and I particularly loved the greens. The ambience was warm and friendly and spacious. Portions were plentiful and even when a request for change was made there was no question only service.Again...outstanding experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for wonderful food no matter the classification...great food is just great food...and this was/is great food...THANK YOU.

Don't walk..Run to this Black Owned Soul Food Eatery..Dining in or picking up service is good and food is phenomenal..The yams, mac and cheese are my favorite along with the whole wings which are seasoned to perfection, along with the baked chicken and fried fish..No complaints here..Ooh and don't forget to grab the banana pudding before it's sold out..CHEFS KISS!CHEF FRED!!

When I walked in to Southern Style Eatery I was greeted by the owner. This place is designed to be a family style restaurant with chill music playing in the background. The hostess explained the menu to me and gave insight on menu items when I asked. I ordered the fried catfish, macaroni & cheese and red beans w/rice. The fish was fried to perfection, it was crispy and flavorful, the homemade tarter sauce was good, the red beans & rice was good and the macaroni was good as well but could've had a little more cheese. I will definitely be returning and trying out something else on the menu.

If you are craving some real and delicious southern food, this is the place to go! I could have sworn I was in Atlanta, not Vegas. Everything was AMAZING!! The food comes out piping hot and cooked to perfection. Between my husband and I, we had fried green tomatoes YUM!, fried okra, fried chicken, pork ribs, mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, and beans. EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! Big portions and reasonable prices. Family run business who were very personable! I'm definitely remembering this place when I visit Vegas!

Went for my birthday last week and was blown away by the catfish. Mac and yams were excellent also. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

This place off the beaten path. It is an Uber drive from the strip but every bit worth your while. Family and Black owned. Best Soul food I've had outside Atlanta. Ribs, fried chicken, fried okra, fried green tomatoes...all of it was amazing. Do yourself a service and come and eat here.

Absolutely AWESOME! We are from San Diego...no soul food restaurants for us here! Lucked up on this wonderful restaurant with great food and wonderful people. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend everyone giving this restaurant a try, you will be glad you did.

No one was there to greet at the door and I don't know how gave those reviews but the food is not good. The Mac and cheese was worst than Krafts Mac and cheese the shrimp had no seasoning and after I ate a few bites I had a headache from all the salt they put on the food. I was sick all night from this place. I should of took pictures so people could see how fake this food looked

Believe me this is THE best soul food in Nevada. My ENTIRE family loved every bite. Every dish was seasoned to perfection. Clean restaurant with friendly and wonderful staff. Food served fresh hot and good. We'll definitely be back.
