They have an in house DJ it was do cool! Great music. 2 levels and outdoor seating. Great AC inside. It is right behind the Hilton. If you are staying at the Hilton just walk out and it's hect to the garden before the lake. Excellent drinks, great service and good food. My daughter loved the tortilla soup. I had the fajitas, super filling. Shrimp was good, chicken was a bit small. My husband had a burrito with grilled chicken and hrcreslly liked it. Order the mango margarita blended it us just like in Mexico so good! We only waited 2 minutes. Lots of gorgeous picture spots outside. Great chips and salsa.Fun decorations. Multiple restrooms. If friends come have them park in the hotel parking structure. Located directly behind the hotel.

Made the mistake of coming back here after the first time. Food was cold and basically inedible the first time we ate here. Chips and salsa wasn't that great either.But decided to come back because I figured maybe the cooks just had a bad day. Nope. Not only was the food cold but there was a cockroach in the food.Absolutely disgusting. Never coming back.

We were looking at new model homes in the area and stopped here to eat lunch. It was a wonderful place to eat. The bar area has a view of the lake, it's so pretty. If the weather is nice you're welcome to sit outside too. The food was great and our drinks were tasty too. We were helped right away.l, and it was a weekend!

We came in for Mother's Day lunch the day before mother's day and the service from MAYRA WAS AMAZING!! There's both inside and outside seating. Inside is very festive, with mariachi music playing. Not too loud that you can't hear each other speak though. Food was DELISH . Chips and salsa was wonderful . Chips perfectly salted!I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga with green sauce on top and a side of guacamole. Another ordered flautas and said they were AMAZING! The cheese and chicken enchiladas I was told were wonderful as well. The rice and beans on the side were seasoned too perfection as well.Lastly.... Don't forget to get your margarita!I would definitely recommend this restaurant and stuff in MAYRA'S section! Provecho/Bon Appetit

We didn't order much, but what we got was delicious! -my husband was obsessed with the Queso. Loved the view of the water, service was good, not amazing. It would be good if they had an early dining happy hour to help fill in the venue. I'll definitely be coming here again!

The service is amazing and on your way out of the service was great you ring the bell that they have at the front door! Yes, I rang the bell! Great vibe and colorful decor. The food was ok and came out not as warm or hot as I thought it should be. Overall, cool place to grab a bite.

I always have a good time here, Whether it is sitting in the brightly colored dining room or the beautiful patio on a sunny day; you really can't go wrong. The servers are always nice and answer any questions if you have them. The food, while good, is not really much to write home about. It is your typical Americanized Mexican food, which definitely isn't a fault against Sonrisa Grill, it just is what it is. I would come here for a nice meal and some fresh chips and salsa but nothing too authentic. The food here is a good size so after plenty of chips, a margarita, and your main, you will have to waddle some calories off around Lake Las Vegas. When I last came here I got a coconut margarita and a smothered pork burrito, both of which definitely did the trick for me that Saturday afternoon!

I firmly believe this is the best restaurant in lake Las Vegas. Love coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy excellent Mexican cuisine. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but if you can try your hardest to sit on the outdoor patio. They offer daily specials on drinks, appetizers, and on Tuesday an all you can eat taco course! I went with the enchiladas and opted for one pork and one beef. Everything was so delicious from the refried beans to the complimentary chips and salsa. Definitely worth a try if you are in the Lake Las Vegas area!

This was probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered carne asada tacos and got wet lettuce. There was barely any meat in the tacos. They were pulled high with washed soaking wet lettuce and bland tomatoes. The tortillas were drenched in oil. I feel like they soaked them in hot oil to heat them but were icy cold by the time they reached the table. My plate had a river of water and oil. The staff was nice for the most part but seemed upset because we didn't enjoy the nasty food. At this point we didn't order anything else, don't want spit in my food. I would not recommend the food to anyone. The restaurant is obviously beautiful and in such a prime location. Sooo much potential failed.

We've been going there for years. We like the service and the food. However ... the DJ needs to go! He's terrible! Too loud, and it's a restaurant not a club. Awful!!!!!!!! PleaseMake him go away.
