Snow Carnival was a blast for my toddler, but I had mixed feelings about the event. A positive is that it's unique to other Christmas activities offered in town. Tickets were available on the Snow Carnival website or through Groupon. The website allows you to book a specific date and time, but Groupon is for a day only. You just go whenever you'd like with Groupon. For two adults and one toddler it was around $100 for admission. The event is in The M Pavillion. We just parked in front of the casino and walked through the casino to the pavilion. It was only a 5-10 minute walk. We didn't wait in line long to get in on Christmas Day.The pavillion is pretty packed with the activities so walkways were tight. People with strollers didn't look like they were having fun so I'd avoid bringing these if you can. Most of the activities are for kids, but every activity is included in admission. For all ages they had a little train, several snow play areas, and some animatronic reindeer to see. Activities limited to older children or adults were a tube slide and a tube ride. Overall, there isn't a huge variety of activities so most of the time will be spent playing in snow pits. Luckily for us, my toddler loved this so she had about an hour and a half of fun here. I thought I saw something about a Santa, but there wasn't a Santa during our visit. The snow play areas are for all ages so you'll want to stay close to littles. I was nervous when I saw this, but adults and kids were being respectful. I didn't feel like my tiny three year old was going to get hurt while playing. My husband did hover her the whole time though. The only additional cost would be food and drink. They had a sweets stand with hot chocolate, cupcakes, cookies, churros and other goodies. There was a stand for adult beverages at the back. I saw two stands with food like burgers, but they weren't open when we were there. Seating for all of this is very limited, just a couple of tables. I purchased hot chocolate and it was really good. Here are my mixed feelings- the activities were limited for the cost of admission, BUT my toddler absolutely loved it. She smiled and giggled for the entire hour and a half and would have been happy to stay longer. Also, it is unique to other seasonal activities so it's hard to say if I preferred Enchant over this. They are different. I do think this is best for people with kids and there wouldn't be enough activities to justify the cost for adults only. I'm glad we checked it out, but I'm undecided if it'll make the cut for a repeat visit next year.

This may be a fun, cool option for families. I went with my best friend, and we didn't think it was worth it. To be fair, It is lower priced than most holiday attractions. This is great if you want a photo op or something "pretty" to post on social media. This is honestly just multiple snow pits with different names, a slide, and a floatie merry-go-round. They have some merch available for purchase as well. My friend and I tried some of their holiday drinks. Very standard, nothing special and no garnishes. Again, I don't have children, but I feel a 5-10 year old may have really enjoyed this.

We had family visit from Hawaii, so we had to check this out with them. This place is located at the M resort downstairs by their spa/pool area. All the kids in our group (ages 1-12 years old) enjoyed the snow carnival.Yes, they did pack a bunch of activities in a small space, so it can be a little overwhelming when pushing a stroller. All the activities were included in the entrance fee. They had a bunch of area to play show. Which the kids loved, and a tubing area that they definitely did more than a handful of times. It was busy in there when we went, but the lines for the the activities weren't too long of a wait.We stayed for several hours in here, so it was definitely worth it for us. The kids didn't want to leave.

For those of us who live in Vegas, snow is sort of a novelty. My baby was born here and she's never seen snow. So what do we do? We take her to a casino and pay $40 a person to see some snow!! Yay...The place was decorated nicely and had a few rides and play areas. A train that went around some reindeers, that's the only ride my 15 month old could ride. The snow tube sliding down the slide thing she couldn't do. It was pretty fun but some effort to drag the big old tube up. The tube ride where it's pulled by some ropes was okay. Baby should have been allowed to ride that as it wasn't very exciting but she was not allowed. There's some drink and food stations, overpriced of course. There were a few snow areas to play. One where you can build snowmen with buckets, and they provided the fake carrots, etc. Some areas just to walk around and experience some snow. My toddler found it interesting and I'm glad we went. Got some good photos and got into the Xmas spirit of things. I'd come early to avoid the evening crowd. Definitely wear snow boots and thick leggings if you have any. Having lived in Boston for most of my life and moving here to get away from the snow, I never thought I'd pay money to sit outside in a snow storm, shivering in the cold while sliding around some icy patches but yup, that's exactly what I did.

This place is a really cool and neat idea and is great for families! You can build a snowman, ride a train, ride a merry go round in a snow tube, slide down a huge slide in a snow tube, throw snowballs, and even pose with a character! It is a lot smaller than you think it will be but still pretty cool. They have animatronic animals that kind of freaked me out a bit and should be replaced with real reindeer in my mind. Maybe do a "ride the reindeer " for the kids. Also they should add a much bigger family photo spot in the corner. They had a couple photo spots but I saw no one doing it. Also, maybe make an area or something for adults to enjoy while their kids are off playing. Not much for adults to do here. Which I know this attraction is mostly for kids but why not make it even better next year?! Also some of the snow or white stuff on the ground followed me into my car and I didn't even step on the snow in the main snow areas so I thought that was weird.... Also, this is just me as a germaphobe, but the thought of multiple kids in that snow all day makes me gag. Cool to see snow indoors as well and this is TOTALLY a Vegas attraction since Mt Charleston is just around the corner with real snow. Oh and maybe more food and drink choices....Cant wait to see if it's any different next year...
