Skyline Hotel & Casino

I visited the casino because I saw an ad on TV for their Prime Rib special. So once I arrived, I ordered the Prime Rib special at the restaurant. It's a great deal at $15.95. I wanted to stay and gamble, but the amount of cigarette smoke smell, was too much for me. So we went straight to the cafe, ordered food, ate, and left.

This place is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. We are traveling to Arizona for a funeral and didn't want to stay on the strip like we normally do. So we looked around and decided to stay here. I have always wanted to stay at one of the older hotel/casinos. I honestly wasn't expecting much. But this place was easy to find and as we walked in I was surprised and impressed with how this place looked. It's so clean and easy to get around. As my wife checked in I went to find a bathroom. From the hotel lobby there's a hallway that leads to the casino and the bathrooms. That when I saw how beautiful this place is. It's lay out is really nice. Going back to the lobby I saw the restaurant and decided we should get some supper there. They had a really nice prime rib special. So after checking in we took our bags up to the room and opening the door we could not believe how nice this room was. It's so clean and gorgeous inside. To see a gas fireplace in the room was so cool. Everything is placed perfectly and the bathroom is so clean and very well maintained. This room is huge. We made our way downstairs to eat and had the best meal. The waitress that seated us made me a fresh pot of coffee and another gal came to take our order which of course was the prime rib special. It wasn't very busy so our food took no time at all arriving. The prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly. We shared a cheesecake dessert and paid our bill then proceeded to the casino to play a little while. We are getting up to start our day and will be having breakfast downstairs before we leave. We are planning to come back through Henderson this week and will be stay here again. I highly recommend you try this place because it's worth it. Kudos to Cindy Dessy and another gal whose name I can't remember she made the fresh coffee. They are great at their jobs and made the evening wonderful.

I ordered the prime rib here, and it was amazing! I took some colleagues for a business lunch. The signage outside, which I passed by every day, caught my attention. We all ordered the same thing, and it was consistently good. The restaurant was a bit too smoky from the cigarette smoke that filled the casino, but the friendly server treated us well.

We decided to stop by and get some lunch at the cafe inside and it was such a surprise, we ordered the Skyline burger which was amazing and delicious service was good and the atmosphere was like you were back in the 70s and 80s. If you are ever in Henderson wanna get a good bite to eat, stop by the cafe.

I love coming to skyline! It's a hidden gem. Their diner never disappoints & the value you get is unmatched. There is a large variety of games to meet anyone's interests including my favorite Buffalo! If you want to hear the old clank of the coins, there are machines that still give you that old Vegas feel! I recommend coming here as the allure of old Vegas is very much still alive here at skyline!

After driving past this place for 8 years I recently saw an ad from Jim and Kelly Marsh recommending this place so we stopped by tonight to try out their restaurant. I had the prime rib special and my wife had the open faced turkey sandwich. The prime rib meal is an excellent value with a large piece of meat, and a large scoop of mashed potatoes. I had the gravy and the au jus and both were good. The turkey sandwich was also excellent with a good portion of meat. We topped it off with a carrot cake that was moist and fresh. Highly recommend this place.

Outlet distribution was also unproductive (consider bringing an extension cord).BED -- poorSupport was all but depleted from this old spring mattress. Sheets were soft & pillows had fine loft, but the sleep just wasn't...BATH -- poorSome real effort went into this design, evidenced by the nice tile work & electric mirror fixture.Cleaning standards & basic maintenance are just lacking. The exhaust was caked in dust & the shower turnover was noticeably low-effort.TV/ENT./ACTIVITIES -- okA good setup: wall-mounted 55" Samsung HD smart TV. The extra tight mount & TV solution eliminates any additional connectivity/functionality. There was a tremendous amount of dust buildup around as well.The casino is predominately slots & where all the fun awaits. These machines are some of the only machines that still accept + dispense real coins. Been going to skyline restaurant for about a month now. Food is a great value, everyone is happy and polite, bathrooms are clean. Everything about this place is very nice.

We went there specifically because of the coin slot machines. I wish there was more options of slot machines with coins. Just a whole bunch of card games and not an actual slot machine experience.Went to the café, the food was amazing. The service was incredible and the people were a pleasure to be around. Seeing that you have live music and singers we will definitely be back. The local to Vegas we're always looking for fun options and this is definitely one of them.

This one star review is not for the food or the service. Those were both pretty good, 4 stars.The one star review is for the gaming. One other gentleman and I were playing blackjack and having a pretty good run, up a few hundred. The pit boss then informed us the tables were closing for an event by the stage area. Event I asked? He said yes, a belly dancer. WHAT!? Closing the tables for a belly dancer!? I asked him whose bright idea was this and he replied it was his idea! Not a very good dancer by the way.I hope Jim or Stacey Marsh or someone in upper management sees this and fixes this quickly! I still can't believe it!
