Honestly this Henderson casino and hotel from the outside looks kind of crappy. It isn't any better on the inside. Skyline is one of the cheaper places to stay. Location is also pretty crappy because it's far away from anything. This is a place that's popular for locals. A strange name for this hotel. It's located far from any visible skyline especially the Strip and other fun things around it. The only skyline is the far away mountains. Amenities are basic. There's a bar off the casino floor. Location of this is crappy. This is on Boulder Highway where there's nothing around or so it seems. For sure there's not a lot of things around it. There's a kitchen that makes basic greasy food like wings and fried stuff. Good place for those okay with being far away from anything. It's a long ways to any other casino and hotel. There's a pool and some other things.

SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- GreatA rustic locals casino with personality. Common spaces were very clean & gave off a heavy desert-plains vibe. A bit eclectic, but also charming & rich with history.Customer service was great over the phone & hospitality inside was awesome.Con: Elevators slow as molassesROOM (Classic Studio, 1 King Bed) -- badhttps://youtu.be/jeU-u6ptwNgA dusty, worn, & neglected accommodation.First impression wasn't a win: overwhelmed by a pungent odor on entry... reminiscent of an old musk ? Double bummer due to the sealed windows & nonexistent ventilation.Chairs felt like deflated tires, well-overdue for a reupholstering or replacement. Outlet distribution was also unproductive (consider bringing an extension cord).BED -- poorSupport was all but depleted from this old spring mattress. Sheets were soft & pillows had fine loft, but the sleep just wasn't...BATH -- poorSome real effort went into this design, evidenced by the nice tile work & electric mirror fixture.Cleaning standards & basic maintenance are just lacking. The exhaust was caked in dust & the shower turnover was noticeably low-effort.TV/ENT./ACTIVITIES -- okA good setup: wall-mounted 55" Samsung HD smart TV. The extra tight mount & TV solution eliminates any additional connectivity/functionality. There was a tremendous amount of dust buildup around as well. The casino is predominately slots & where all the fun awaits. These machines are some of the only machines that still accept + dispense real coins. Pretty cool.A small (motel-size) outdoor pool is also open.WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- poorPoorly architected with multiple over-lapping networks.I struggled frequently with connecting to these access points.--Performance--Video streaming - averageOnline gaming - poorVideo chatting - average --Nerd Stats--12-17 Mbps download 6-18 Mbps upload0% packet loss30 ms latency30 ms jitterFOOD & DRINK -- okDoorDash friendly.Marketing of the prime rib was strong & enticing. Taste on the other hand, was not...: seasoning had potential but the cook was uneven & temperatures were inaccurate. It also looked nothing like the flyer. Not worth the13.99 (dine-in) or $24 (takeout) sticker.Snack & drink machines have good inventory & were fully stocked on every floor.in-room: microwave mini-fridge (large)coffee teapot wet-bar mini-barNOISE -- badNo real privacy with these acoustics.LOCATION -- In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by trailers. Not much of a "destination" by design.RECOMMENDATION & RATINGFinal price: $93.29/nightWas it worth it: noBest part: priceMore roomy than a big brand casino hotel & strong on hospitality.Cleaning standards & maintenance have much room for improvement.Underwhelming.3/5 @mrstaycation

Good service, good food, good prices. The Prime Rib special for $15.95 can't be beat! I'll definitely have to have the regular $24.95 meal, on my next visit. It was my first time eating there, and won't be my last. The waitress was very helpful. She went over and above, to make us want to visit again.

Having lived in Las Vegas for 30 years, I've come to appreciate a place or two with that genuine hometown family feel and that's what I love about the skyline coffee shop. The times Ive come for breakfast, (weekend or a weekday), the service is always the same: the best. Nelly and the crew really make you feel at home, the coffee and water refills never stop, the rest of the staff comes to check on you, and the prices are great. Not to mention the food is delicious! In Vegas, where it seems flashy and trendy novelty eateries come and go, there is something to be said when you can support a local spot that has stood the test of time.

Overall, I like this place, the prime rib deal in the coffee shop was pretty good for the price and I like the fact that there are many full-pay keno machines. I always enjoy a locals, dive-bar style casino. I hate the strip. The cocktails have a nice heavy pour and the bartender lady who works on the weekend is really sweet.

Don't judge a book by its cover. When i pulled up, the exterior looks dated, really small pool and decoration was something from time long past. Kind of eerie for me too. Especially next to a dilapidated trailer park, busy highway and industry plant.Putting my first impression bias aside, I had a nice sleep in a comfortable bed. Prime rib lunch for $13 and $2.50 shrimp cocktails. Nicest staff in restaurant and front desk. The room didn't small like cigarettes likes most of these older hotels. Big bonus for me. My car wasn't stolen so far. And my views has been swayed. This ain't the 4 seasons nor a fancy lawrys prime rib. But it was fairly good especially at the price point that reflects old Vegas. If I wanted drive to lake Las Vegas I can get my 4 seasons experience at 3x cost. This will do just fine with a fine set of folks.

It has nice decor and a big bathroom. Things I do not care for is 1. The bed feels like you're sleeping on a board and springs. I wake up in pain. 2. The TVs color is purple tinted 3. The ac smells like it to s blowing a poop smell sometimes. 4. The beds only have a sheet and blanket. They do not have extra blankets either if you are stuck against the ac. It's ok but I don't think I could do it again because of how bad the beds are..

This casino reminds me of what it used to be down in the strip. People are friendly. You see a lot of people with their cups of coins my mom would love this place.
